Sorry for the delay in last night’s Below Deck recap. Some of you may have noticed I had a total drunken meltdown. I apologize to those I worried. Basically, Lawn Kid showed up crying again. He’s been evicted. I’m not sure what to believe anymore. I didn’t know what to do. I wish none of this had ever happened. I’d prefer we don’t discuss it in comments if that is okay. I am really sorry for worrying everyone. I made a series of bad decisions. Speaking of bad decisions, it’s the episode where Captain Lee makes a bad decision himself. In both situations, we were unaware of all the facts.
We begin with everyone having little to no memory of the night before. Again, I can relate. But I am pretty sure I didn’t make any untoward advances to anyone. Or walk off a boat at four am. Again, though. Couldn’t swear to that. So I am in a less judgey place than I expected to be recapping this episode. Kate has quit and literally abandoned ship.
Everyone Has Amnesia
I have a real problem believing that Captain Lee had no idea that Kate left. When production is rolling I feel like Captain Lee would be aware. Maybe not. But this is crazy. And I highly doubt production let Kate wander off alone. Someone knows where she is. What a do know is that Kevin is a dick.
Kate takes the walk of shame in her clothes from the night before. Ah! Something to be thankful for. There was no walk of shame for me! Now she has to face Captain Lee. It appears no one seems to know or remember what happened the night before except for Kate. And she does not fill him in. This makes no sense to me. I feel like she would have been comfortable enough with the captain to tell him exactly why she felt the need to leave the ship.
It’s Too Late To Apologize!
Ashton goes to talk to Kate. He feels HE is owed an apology. Are you kidding me? But he does apologize to Kate. The preference sheet meeting is awkward. I don’t really care about the charter guests at this point. Or their stupid requests.
I hate these charter guests and all of their pretentiousness. Apparently, we are just going to pretend that the male deckhands and the chef are not misogynistic assholes. Yet, it’s time to rag on Rhylee again. And next week it looks like Captain Lee fires RHYLEE. Seriously? She’s the problem?
