RHOA Recap

In other news, I am on a brief staycation. Not dead. Back soon. Haven’t read comments (except moderated ones).  Watching anything NOT BRAVO.  Currently, bingeing Mad About You on Spectrum.

But my friend sent me this….. Flip through all the photos. So scary!

So the real outcome of the Candiace-Monique altercation was free publicity for the show. Unintended, I’m sure.

If anyone wants a “feel good” Netflix movie-please check out: Holiday in the Wild(or something close to that). It stars Rob Lowe and Kristin Davis. Rob Lowe only gets better looking and his son is in it as well(super cute too). Afterwards I started investigating how I can start helping elephants in Africa. Check out Kristin Davis’ IG for info. Honestly-I cried like a baby when I watched it. Is it a little predictable and cheesy….???sure l! but isn’t that what the holidays are for??

      Thanks!

His autobiography is worth a read. His take on being in the movie business in the 80’s is fascinating . Will check out this film. Thanks for the recommendation. I am a ardent film buff. Happy New Year to All xo Marc

I adore Rob Lowe! I don’t usually go for pretty boys but I make an exception for Rob! We are the same age so I’ve watched his career ups and downs and we both stopped drinking around the same time, around 30 years ago. I still remember seeing his first big film Class circa 1983. He was a terrible actor but you eyes were drawn to him. My teenage son and I are binge watching Community, I LOVE Rob on the show-his character is adorable.

I watched that show yesterday that you recommended. Rob Lowe is still so pretty, the man just does not age. I loved his bush pilot character. Kristin Davis has been one of the Sheldrick Wildlife patrons for years. Thank you for the recommendation of the movie, it was cute.

Now listen, those baby elephants didn’t come to live with me, I just sent them money. They send you stories in email they don’t post on the website about your baby orphan and the baby’s shenanigans during that month. I need to adopt another one. I left my adoptions expire after a couple of years.

If you go visit the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Nairobi National Park you can visit the baby elephants at noon daily. If you are an adopter you can return at 5 PM for the evening return to the nursery where the babies run for the milk. I so want to be there for that experience. I hope to do that sometime in the next few years.

I am told by people who have been that you visit the elephant babies at 12 noon, they you go to the Karen Blixen Museum (Out of Africa author) and the Giraffe Center and have a late lunch somewhere in the area and return at 5:00 PM for the private view of the babies exclusive for the adopters. I AM going to do this.

Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is the real deal for orphan elephants. It is $50 a year to adopt a baby elephant. I also sent them loads of tights they use to tie their blankets on. Dame Daphne Sheldrick was one of the most amazing women on the planet with her wildlife rescue organization. Her book Love, Life and Elephants is definitely worth a read. I went crazy one year and adopted 5 baby elephants. I want to go visit them in Kenya so bad! I will definitely watch that movie.

Ours used to get beaten by a drive-by baseball bat pretty regularly back in the day. Then we replaced it with a Rubbermaid one and didn’t screw it in it just rested on the post. When they hit it it just bounced and got placed back on the post! Our neighbors followed suit and problem solved!

It appears as if the mailbox is extremely close to the street especially for a concrete “structure”. I’m not judging! I despise when people do that on social media. Our town put speed bumps randomly on our block, it was very dangerous. We had several accidents where people didn’t slow down, especially at night and hit the bump. One time a car flew across the street! Mostly I’d watch people swerve around the bumps all day (there were only TWO) into the bike lane which was obviously dangerous.

Thank you, Nanette!! For the Birthday wishes and for understanding. I literally left the ER w script in my hand to get the meds. Finally found it at the 4th pharmacy I tried, a Walgreen’s!

The SAME thing happened to me. The doc wired it to my regular pharmacy (Walmart) and it doesn’t carry it, nor are the pharmacists allowed to order it. It took me SIX MORE days to get a new Rx faxed to Walgreen’s, the only place nearby that carries it. Lesson: Get everything restricted as a PAPER Rex and go straight to Walgreen’s!

I hope you are 100% to start the New Year.

(freaking special snowflake of a keyboard) Anyway… I would like a recap of the RHOC reunion, part 3, that aired on Thursday night. Happily missed this season of RHOC because Moonshiners on the Discovery Channel is on at the same time – no screaming, modest wardrobes, interesting ideas, problem solving skills, learning, and application. And you can often buy the season’s more interesting creations at the liquor store. Anywho… not having watched this season, I kind of need Tamara’s scorecard recap to have some insight into what the heck I was watching. Is the whole Kelly is moving to New York a big puff of smoke?

Hopefully she will find another place to take the baby for a stroll. That is not a nice, neighborhood lane but a curvy, no shoulder road. reminds me of Paces Ferry Road…I wouldnt even jog on that much less take a baby in a stroller…

I can’t believe she said that she takes the baby in the stroller there! I’m sorry, but that’s ridiculous. You know sometimes when you’re driving and you pass a really idiotic situation and you break out the old “this is why some people shouldn’t have kids”? I would have 100% said that if I drove by ANYONE pushing a stroller for leisure on this street! I’m so glad no one was hurt, and I hope that she NEVER pushes that beautiful baby on this street ever again (or any street like this street)! She’s very lucky.

It doesn’t even look that fast to me. I keep watching it to try and see that it is moving fast, because for that car to flip, it must have been, right, but to me it only looks like 40 mph ballpark. I wish we could find out how fast it was going because it’s bothering my brain now. Lol I don’t understand how that car even flipped over like that. It’s so strange.

Oh good. If I remember right, I think I saw in a preview a while back that hardly anyone makes it through this season? I would imagine that at this point, the inmates all must know that it’s 60 days in after so many shows, and they’re probably just figuring out who it is whenever cameras come into their jails. I wonder if that’s what happens. I hope it’s good!

LOL that’s really unfortunate but kind of hilarious – Kenya Moore from the RHOA installed a cement mailbox and it inadvertently caused someone to flip their car – like what is life? And before anyone throws a fit, yes obviously it was the drivers fault but their car wouldn’t have fucking FLIPPED if it weren’t for the giant cement block being there.

I’m not, “throwing a fit” but I don’t understand why it’s kinda, “hilarious”. It could have been really serious. I usually enjoy some irony and some snark but don’t find anything here funny.
