The RHONJ recap is done and all of them are safely back home. Let’s see if the RHOD recap can have a happy ending as well. I mean, they are in the right part of Bangkok for happy endings! Sadly, they all fled way before the happy endings part. Kameron dared to leave first with Kary and flee in a taxi with the enemy. She returns to her room to a ranting Leeanne. LeeAnne claims she is upset about the sex industry in Bangkok. She could care less about that. Her real problem is that Kameron is colluding with the enemy. The MEXICAN enemy.
Poor Kameron has no idea why Luann is screaming at her. She’s her biggest ally in the group. Kameron stammers around about butt darts and such in her defense of participating in the sex worker industry. She is out of her depth and unsure what the hell is happening and why she is trapped alone with a raging LeeAnne.
Kameron asked why she went if she didn’t want to go. LeeAnne says she went because everyone else was going. Didn’t she ever get the lecture about everyone else jumping off a cliff? Also, I tried to educate a few people last week about racism and why LeeAnne is not a racist. But she sure seems to hate Mexicans. This is a common sentiment for many people in border states. Not a nice one. But a common one.
Kameron is flabbergasted that anyone would yell at her in this way. Now LeeAnne is saying so only went to watch after Kameron in a bad part of town. Oh please. Now she is fake crying about protecting everyone. We see you LeeAnne. Then she starts worrying about Kameron’s reputation in Dallas. And of course what all of her “high society” friends with think about this. And then she is back on the Mexican rant. I wonder what that will do for her reputation back in Dallas? What will her dick sucking friends at The Round Up have to say about that? My panty liner is exhausted and we are only three minutes and four hundred words in.
It’s A New Day!
At breakfast we find out from D’Andra (and a flashback) that Leeanne really freaked Kameron out about her reputation in Dallas. She’s worried her trip to the red light district will cause tongues to wag. Um, so to speak. Kameron went to her room and cried.
Travis showed up to Stephanie and Brandi’s room and said he still hasn’t heard from his father. The next day Stephanie and Travis will fly to Vietnam to look for him. This doesn’t sound good.
LeeAnne goes for a Thai massage in the hotel spa and tells us how triggered she was about the red light district. She is making it all about her again. Kameron says she was crying and said she was going to stay in the room and watch cartoons. YAY! Now maybe be can get back to Thailand! Kameron, Kary and D’Andra got jewelry shopping at a local market. Brandi and Stephanie are going to have a pool day. As Kameron says, they are in Thailand! They can lie by the pool any day! Kameron also decides not to tell Kary about all the anti-Mexican slurs LeeAnne was using the previous night. Smart move.
A Little Romance
Meanwhile, back at the hotel, Stephanie has asked that a very romantic set up be placed by the pool. This makes sense. Her hubby has finally joined her. Oddly, it’s not for Travis, it’s for Stephanie and Brandi. And it’s just weird. And in public. People are staring. Other people are just trying to get some laps in. It’s season one ridiculous. But at least it’s not LeeAnne.
Stephanie blindfolds Brandi and walks here through the pool area and feeds he chocolate covered strawberries and bananas. Is this normal? Because I find it quite odd.
It’s Dinnertime You Know What That Means…
And I really don’t want to rehash all of this drama again. We get it. Vaginas. Ping pong balls. Sex workers. Bad childhoods. You are in a very expensive restaurant with gorgeous views of Thailand! For fucksake! Just STOP! Everyone orders very fancy cocktails. Except Brandi who asks for a Vodka and Red Bull like she was at the goat rodeo.
Kary calls out LeeAnne trying to manipulate Kameron to feel bad for being friends with her. LeeAnne starts snapping her fingers at Kary telling her to listen. I am so tired of LeeAnne ruining all of these trips. I presume she is going to regale us with stories of her abusive childhood before the entrees even hit the table.
On To the Death Threats
Can we talk about Kameron’s poor choice in interview looks this episode. LeeAnne randomly asks D’Andra if she would like to just “go thrown down on the roof?” Because LeeAnne would be happy too. D’Andra replies she would just throw LeeAnne off the roof. And I mean at this point who could blame her? LeeAnne replies, “Please try. Because you have already pushed me once.” D’Andra says LeeAnne is full of shit.”
Kameron seems to be sticking up of LeeAnne again. Apparently, all is forgiven. Brandi says that LeeAnne makes every experience about her childhood. This is true. She brings up the elephants as another example. Everything is a negative trigger for LeeAnne. EVERYTHING.
And A Walk Off
LeeAnne asks if everyone would like to raise hands and have her leave the table so they could enjoy their dinner. I AM RAISING MY HAND! D’Andra points out that LeeAnne is STILL playing the victim! She just doesn’t get it. At this point my panty liner is dead. So is Brandi’s because she leaves the dinner. She’s had all she can take. Kary and Stephanie follow her out. Stephanie tells them she is in a really awkward position because she is the hostess. She has to go back.
Brandi and Kary have beers at the roof top bar. I get this. It is really hot in Thailand. Brandi explains to Kary that LeeAnne saying that something someone did is going to ruin their reputation is straight out of chapter one of LeeAnne’s playbook.
Oh look, the entrees have arrived and there are only four people left. LeeAnne is crying at the table. Stephanie says she is really tired, but she is glad LeeAnne and Kameron made up. Kameron says they actually made up last night. Things just got brought up again at dinner. LeeAnne leaves crying. Brandi and Kary’s entrees are still under a cloche. Kameron is not going to let those fabulous meals goes to waste. She tells Stephanie to pass them to her I love Kam! Stephanie and D’Andra leave. And Kam stays to enjoy all the fancy meals and drinks alone. I would so do that and be very happy.
Same As It Ever Was…
Twenty minutes later, Kam goes back to the suite she shares with LeeAnne. Leanne gets up and slams the door to her bedroom in her face. WHAT NOW? Kam defended your shitty behavior all night? LeeAnne finally opens the door and her room looks like my house. I have anxiety and depression and no one comes in my house so I am not motivated to clean it. But when I travel, I would DIE if I left my room looking like that. Especially in such a nice hotel. They wouldn’t even be able to find a pillow to leave a chocolate on in that mess!
LeeAnne is worried that Kameron is going to want to sit next to Kary on the 28 hour flight. I’d rather sit next to a box of rattlesnakes than LeeAnne.
Next week is the finale. It looks like it will be about LeeAnne’s anti- Mexican comments. She will be called a racist. They just filmed the reunion so that seems like a quick turn around. Oh, the two weeks after that are Christmas and New Years. That makes sense. Time flies!
