Some of us had our doubts about Tinsley Mortimer’s most recent campaign to get Scott Kluth down on one knee. After spending several weeks in Chicago when she was supposed to be filming RHONY, Scott finally got down on one knee in a very public way on Sunday night. The pair were walking past the historic Chicago Water town when Scott surprised Tinsley with a proposal on the sidewalk. There just happened to be more than one professional videographer there. I’ve reached out to sources to see if they were from RHONY or a videographer that Scott hired. Either way, the proposal will likely be on one of the episodes she missed and get her a paycheck.
“Scott’s apartment is close to where the carollers (sic) were,” a source told Page Six. “They were walking to dinner to and they saw these carollers (sic), and they broke into Christina Perri’s ‘A Thousand Years,’ which is their song. It took Tinsley a few seconds to figure out what was going on, but then Scott got down on one knee. He’d organized the whole thing with the carollers (sic) in advance.”
She definitely said yes. I imagine she asked for his sperm before they got there dinner order in. You know she is dying to hatch some eggs. Tinsley is 44 so she needs to get right on that.
Tinsley was docked for episodes she missed on the current season but I doubt she would change this time with Scott for anything. Scott had an entire weekend planned for Tinz. Saturday night was a big party as Tao with dancers and a large sign that welcomed Tinsley to Chicago. That seemed weird to me because she had been there for quite a while. However, now it appears she may have “officially moved to Chicago” this weekend.
Best of luck, Tinsley. I suggest getting him down the aisle just as soon as you possibly can. Maybe a NYE wedding? Check out the proposal below.
Here is the photo of Tinsley and Scott at the Ritz Carlton Bar after dinner on the night of their engagement. The person taking the photo didn’t know who they were but they announced they had just gotten engaged and were attracting some attention so she took the photo. Is it me or do they both looked bored out of their minds?
