The final regular episode of 90 Day Fiance has come and gone and I already need more. Thankfully we have a reunion coming up this week. I think it might even be two parts.
Paul and Karine (Brazil)
This couple didn’t really have much of a wrap up. Paul’s mother came down to see the baby. Karine seemed to sort of bond with Paul’s mom. She convinced her to tell Paul he needs to help with the baby and get a damn job. Mom also told him that she is about to retire and she can’t afford to bankroll his bad decisions any more. I feel like by now Paul is back home living with mommy.
Laura and Aladin (Dubai/Tunisia)
I’ve never understood this one. What is Aladin’s angle? He went through with an entire wedding with all of his family. He professed his undying love. Aladin seemed to think Laura was going to give him and American baby, was that the angle? I can find fifty young women in Atlanta in two hours who would move to Dubai and give him all the babies in the world. I need someone to explain this to me. Also, I’m not surprised he is bad in bed.
Jihoon and Deavan (South Korea)
On the final episode, Jihoon and Deavan had a traditional Korean ceremony with Jihoon’s family. Deavan came around a bit by the end of it, but she seems to have no clue what it means to move to another country and raise a child in a Korean family. If you are going to move in with a Korean family and have a Korean baby, you need to stop whining about how it’s not just like America. She always seems to have one foot out the door.
Despite not wanting more children, as it turns out she got pregnant again. She announced yesterday that she had a miscarriage and that she and Jihoon were heartbroken. She remains living in South Korea with Jihoon. I believe her other child has arrived as well.
Corey and Evelin (Ecuador)
Oh Corey. Why the hell would you move to a third world country for a girl who still talks to her ex and has made it clear she is not going to marry you? Even her daddy tried to tell you it was never going to happen. Perhaps that was lost because you DON’T EVEN SPEAK SPANISH and daddy doesn’t speak much English, but you really don’t need to speak at all to understand the dynamic here.
On the finale, he took Evelin on a hot balloon ride. Sort of. The balloon never got more than a few feet off the ground and people were holding it down with ropes the whole time. Because Evelin had the great good sense not to get in a hot air balloon in Equador.
Then Corey flashed a diamond ring which she snatched right up and suddenly professed her undying love for the guy she has barely tolerated all season. Corey ended his grand proposal with a dinner on the beach served by a private chef and a fireworks grand finale. We are supposed to believe this means a happily ever after. We do not.
Ronald and Tiffany (Johannesburg, South Africa)
This was difficult to watch. Tiffany decided that Daniel wasn’t happy in South Africa. Clearly, Daniel missed the comforts of the United States, but Tiffany pushed Ronald on him as his father. Not a father figure, but his father. Daniel and Ronald were extremely close. So it was extremely cruel to that child, and to Ronald who took Daniel as his son, to rip that relationship apart. I kept wondering why they had to stay in an unsafe city when there are other areas of South Africa that are a lot safer. Why not move as a family from Johannesburg to one of the safer suburbs of Cape Town? This entire situation bothered me and broke my cold black heart.
Jenny and Sumit (India)
Y’all. I want this relationship to work out. I know it seems crazy but their long drawn out goodbye got me all teared up. And Jenny worried about the public backlash against Sumit was endearing. These two love each other and it is clear that he has zero control over his life. He’s clearly being help hostage by his family.
On the preview for the reunion, the foreign people are Skyped in and everyone is on Skype except for Sumit and Jenny is devastated. I am hoping against all odds that that means that Sumit somehow managed to escape India and will show up in the studio. Shut up. A girl can dream.
I absolutely loved this season. I need another season of it ASAP. It is so much better seeing the Americans in other countries than the regular way. What did you guys think?
Normally, I say NO SPOILERS but since the season is over, TELL ME EVERYTHING!
I’m in a 90 Fiancé Facebook group. Someone said there was a sighting of Jenny shopping for engagement rings with her daughter with a camera crew. So fingers crossed. Her and Sumit really made me sad. I hope those crazy kids find a way to be together.
I forgot to add that she was seen in California ring shopping
Jenny needs to walk away from Sumit and allow him to lead a respectful life with his wife and family. His culture alone puts him in danger of being harmed and publicly disgraced if he carries on the affair. Hopefully he has learned a lesson about catfishing. You never win. Jenny should pursue a relationship with a man closer to her own age.
true
I feel you. I can see why his parents would feel like he is making a huge mistake, but at the same time they do love each other there is no doubt about that! I really hope they both end up happy regardless of if they end up together or not.
I really love Jenny and sumit
Closer to her own age and geographical location. What she’s doing is wrong, he is married, and she needs to make a moral decision, not chase her juvenile emotional needs.
The guy is a completel idiot and a liar. And if I were Jenni. I would never consider leaving India until everyone involved was gathered together and had an opportunity to confront the little worm.
Possibly ask questions, apologize to others for the part your you may have played and explain that you were a victim in this selfish worms life, too.
Oh my gosh! I want Sumit and Jenny to work out so bad! It is rather obvious that they love each other.
I cried watching Daniel and Ronald separate. Jeez! Why? You go through the trouble of having them bond as father and son only to tear them apart? Sigh
Deavan is clearly clueless and probably didn’t know there was a world outside the US until she met Jhihoon.
As for Corey and what’s her name. Just go meet your mom Corey!!!! She needs your shoulder to lean on and that girl don’t love you baby. I’m not even sure that she likes him
I was devastated for Ronald and Jenny. AND Sumit!!!! It was a really great season. I feel like poor Daniel was really put through something. I also feel that Tiffany was happy as hell to get back to the US.
Corey. I can’t even. Evelin is a natural beauty though. She was CLEAR she didn’t want to get married. Corey is a sweetheart and all the US girls are going to be reaching out to him. I think Evelin has moved on.
I LOVED that Laura would say that Aladin wasn’t rocking her world. It was great.
Jihoon and Divean seem a mess, but do seem to love each other. ALL of the babies were so cute!!! Paul and Karrine’s baby was gorgeous. I think Paul’s Mom coming did help calm Karrine. She just needs support. She may need a new man for that.
I don’t blame Paul’s attitude. You go take Corrine what she wants to find out she gets money from other men. Cheating is not always physical. It can be emotional.
Summit and Jenny tore my heart out. After 6 yrs to say good bye that way. Aladin and Laura broke up and said she had bad hygiene. That explains bad jiggy. Jiggy. He referenced her to sushi. But out if all of them that one and that other 50 year old blonde did not make sense to me. Who at that age wants to carry a baby and have it like Corrine? Heck no.
Comment on Laura: Her son was absolutely right when saying she shouldn’t have a baby. I still can’t figure out Aladins angle in marrying her. I know this is a different 90 Day Fiancé, Angela (bitch be crazy) wanting a baby is just as stupid. What are they thinking?
Surely there’s birth control in Korea. Jhoon and Devon should focus on kids they have and place of their own. Why can’t Jhoon come to U.S. ?
More thank likely the charges he has against him for selling stolen cell phones in another country. Just saying that’s a huge offense.
If so, why was he allowed to visit? Those charges would preclude any travel into the United states.
I wonder what’s happening with Avery, the girl who was planning on moving to Syria. It’s terrible what’s happening there.
Deaven and Jihoon really grew on me. They’re sweet together. But I wonder if she speaks any Korean?
I really enjoyed seeing the Americans go to other countries, it was interesting to see their experiences and we didn’t have as many scenes where people are accused of only wanting a US green card.
And thank you for this recap!
My understanding was that yes Jenny and daughter were ring shopping for a $100 ring. Doesnt sound like engagement to me. But my question is…is there any sympathy for Sumits wife? How humiliating! Yes I feel bad for Jenny but wow isnt it amazing that ALL these storylines made for great Tv! Like wow, you couldn’t script these stories so well!
Nope. Absolutely none. She knew from the beginning that Sumit didn’t want to be in the arranged marriage. She probably doesn’t either. I imagine they are both being held hostage by their parents. I’m hoping they managed to get a divorce somehow.
Love this show!!!! I was waiting to see if you posted anything so I could make sure to say how good the reunion looks!! (I don’t watch HW) but these are great, especially since no Chantal family trying to score another season. I just don’t care for them. I know they are the past, but this reunion are newbies that will be authentic.
I just hope Grucilla stays home? Where ever that is. And i now know why Deavan looked different. Oh i could talk all day about this.
Can not wait.
The child is named Drascilla there is no need to trash talk a child
Trash talk a child? Exactly how did i do that?
Perhaps your own negative feelings are being projected onto this comment? Your comment was unnecessary and mean spirited.
Phew! This season has been a whirlwind and is continuing on Instagram. Laura is in serious need of some professional help!
Reeaaalllyyy? Hmmm. Aladin is so good looking i assume he can do no wrong, lol.
Jiggy jiggy practice EVERY DAY!!!!!
Laura seems to have a history (according to her son) of awful relationships. Im sorry to hear if she needs professional help as in an abusive (once again) situation.
Sorry, but Laura and Aladin’s relationship isn’t beleivable. A very handsome young man dating a much older woman unlikley to bear him chidlren. Plus in Qatar he could legally marry many wives so why would he want to marry a woman older than his own mother? Plus he’s very traditional and she’s not. She’s the opposite.
I feel for Jenny and Summit. I feel like they decided to do this show hoping his family and his wife’s family will let them get divorced. I keep seeing people be all “poor Summit’s wife”, did anyone consider she didn’t want Summit either but they have no choice as it’s their culture and her family is insistent?
Marriage is difficult enough. The thought of an arranged marriage is abusive to either or bride or groom. I guess this show is interesting in another way showing the effects on the two in love.
I’m having a problem with the woman who went to South Africa. I used to talk frequently with a South African author, and it’s a scary seeming life.
To bring her 8 year old to meet “dad” who isn’t his bio dad, just got out of rehab, she married him, got preggers, and then leaves. I see disaster. She’s way too all about herself, and by saying “Im doing this for Ronald cause it’s best” doesn’t always prove true.
I can’t believe how she is so secure in her way being the only way.
I won’t even begin to voice all my concerns regarding Avery and Omar.
Ok she went to south Africa no job, he has no job and now shes pregnant and going home. Who taking care of these kids. Avery lives in a dream world. Paul needs to grow up and Jenny needs to leave that married man alone. Zied using forgot the ladies name, he is not attractive at all. I will practice jiggy jiggy with allidin all day
Sadly, Ronald is not in a place to not have security and trust of a plan and knowing what is going to.happen, when and where, and why and on and on. HE’S AN ADDICT.
She should have dropped him off at the casino (just as stupid). Bad move on her part. She doesn’t know anything except how to talk like she does.
Im angry.
Said it backwards again, sorry. Ronald is not in a place where he has security, trust, knows what is planned, happening, etc.
I get so angry watching Tiffany because of all the aforementioned impulsive decisions. Further, someone said it seems like she gives her son the talking points to justify her actions; getting him to speak about lack of fences, safety, etc., stuff that a kid wouldn’t normally notice. So manipulative.
Other than that, I’m so glad this show has made it to this website. HW’s is over–90 Days is it!
I’m always open to what you guys want to hear about… Let me know if there is something else I should be covering.I too, am tiring of the housewives bullshit. Le sigh.
Cool–will do!
Yes! Thank you so much for recapping this show it’s absolutely one of my top favorites. I’m also waiting for the return of Mexican Dynasties.
As for the Real Housewives, I gave up on RHOA a few years ago because of all the constant fighting, and an overdose of Nene. Now, RHOC has become even worse. The way the ladies fight is horrible, and makes me feel like I have knots in my stomach. Who would watch that voluntarily? Not me anymore. There’s something seriously mentally wrong with Kelly, Shannon is irritating as hell, and the rest of them are just as much of a mess. I think there are a couple of the newer ones I could tolerate, but I can’t remember their names.
Thanks also, Tamara, for your recaps of Married at First Sight. That’s another show I really enjoyed.
The really big thing I’m looking forward to is the return of Killing Eve. That show would leave me gasping at some of the plot twists, can’t wait for more.
I’d like to know how is it that the lady dating Zied, gets off a plane and into a rental car in Tunisia. She’s been driving ever since. Please explain this to me. It’s not the first time I’ve seen this. Also seen the foreigners come to USA and drive, after being here just days. WTH IS REALLY GOING ON?
I have no idea who Zied is.
The different series all run together after awhile, easy to lose track of who’s who. Most of them are just telegenic goofy people making unbelievably bad decisions, but the “Before the 90 Days” franchise has me screaming out loud at the TV. Zied is the scariest of all of these guys, that storyline is really disturbing.
Ziad is the 26 yr jealous Tunisian marrying the married women who hasn’t told him yet she’s still married. He told her he rented a car and pay for it. She also had to tell him she was in a lesbian relationship in the past. So she still is finding fault with him, while still not telling him she’s married. So many secrets.
He’s the grungy looking guy.
IDK? Sumit already catfished Jenny. Then he lied for 2 years while talking to her and telling her that he loved her yet he was already married to another woman. It’s too easy for him to lie.
I agree. I feel sorry for Jenny. Lying men don’t stop lying!
A thrity year old man can’t be held hostage by his family. He’ll be a terrible spouse for Jenny. She’ll be in for more of the same. He betrayed his first wife and Jenny. I hope she sees the light.
Totally agree. Sumitt is looking for a way out and Jenny is thirsty like Laura describes. It is Summits’ culture and he knew this. Americans doesnt understand because our culture manner has gone to the do-do birds.
Early on in her visit, Aladin took Laura to visit his Imam who plainly explained to Laura that Aladin gets 4 wives. I
I remember watching that. That was a culture shock for Laura. I think the Imam was trying his best to scare Laura away.
I love this one waaaaaay more than the regular 90 Day Fiancée! So much more interesting! I couldn’t figure out Aladdin either. He acted sincere but it’s hard to imagine him being that into a much older woman who probably couldn’t have more kids. She didn’t have money, either, so that wasn’t his angle. He was so gorgeous that he could have gotten someone with $$ or at least young enough to give him lots of babies. Can’t wait for the reunion!
I agree with many of the posters, I’m sucked in to Jenny and Sumit’s situation! We love all the 90 day shows in our house!
No mention here about Tom and Darcey?
I don’t know who half the people are being referenced in this post. This post is about THE OTHER WAY. I don’t watch the 97 other versions. 🙂
The other way is Eleanor and guy from Washington.
Paul and Karine
Deavan and Jihoon
Jenny and Summet
Aladin and Laura
Ronald and Tiffany(now Tiffany is trying to get Ronald here for baby)
So I was incorrect Ziad and Rebecca. He’s trying to come here.
Angela and Michael trying to come here
Tim and beautiful Colombian trying to come here
Benjamin and Akini trying to come here
Sad soul and Ukraine fake?
Tom and Darcy i don’t know????
I hope I’m correct, sorry about Ziad and Rebecca. They go for 90 days and screw it all up lol.
Avery and Omar staying in Syria if she can’t get him to US
I think Jenny knew before doing the show that Summit was married. So why did she go to India?
Sumit is dishonest…period. He is a whiney victim who never quite puts on his big boy shorts! I would have taken about 5 minutes to pack up and leave once he admitted to the marriage. Jenny is too quick to forgive, considering the emotional costs to her and her life! Yes, they love each other but, he IS unavailable for any relationship until he is free.
Jenny does need to force herself to move on. The pain this relationship will cause her will never end.
Love the show. I unexpectedly find myself rooting for Jenny and Sumit. Their love looks genuine. Zied and Rebecca- I’m on the fence. My main problem is that he asked her for $200 that he used to buy her engagement ring? So she paid for her own ring? What a douche! Avery and the Syrian dude- I see major trouble ahead for this naive teenager who can’t be told anything. I feel for her mother. Aladin and Laura- disaster. And Paul and Karine- he is immature and emotionally unstable. How about when he threatened to throw himself in an Amazon river after overreacting to something minor, or when he became upset at Karine (again) and crawled into a tiny dog house to pout? What 33 year old man behaves that way? And not to mention his sketchy past- arson and restraining order from an ex-girlfriend? I believe he keeps his crazy in check while cameras role, but let’s it loose when they’re down. I worry for that little baby. Paul needs help.
Yes, PLEASE somebody from the producers crew GET PAUL SOME HELP. For the sake of the child and Kariene!!! Offer Mental Health professionals ASAP.
Hey TT! 90 Days; both versions on Sunday and Monday nights are now my favorites over the BRAVO shows. Like many, I cant keep the 90 Days characters separate either. Thank you much for the recap!!
I love the other way. Seeing different countries and cultures is cool,. The best part is that it cuts out the green card storyline.
It is my belief that Aladin is gay but due to his religion he could not admit it. If you look back at his friends and his mannerisms you can see it!! He purposefully set out to find an older woman who could NOT have children or he thought (wouldn’t be as sexually active) as he is just not into women but men. Hell there were TONS of women; young women that he could have chosen but he didn’t.
A week or more ago, Evelyn was on IG live crying about Corey dating Larissa. Yes, that Larissa!
I love this show. Pillow Talk reminds me of The People’s Couch that is no longer on Bravo.
I agree about Tiffany and Roland. Tiffany makes the worse decisions! How do you get pregnant by someone you don’t trust with a debt card?
