On tonight’s RHOD Recap, we are going to see LeeAnne’s ass. Literally, her ass. And it’s incredible. I’m just saying. She may be a lot to deal with mentally, but she has a great body. But first, D’Andra has to go talk business with Travis. Hopefully she won’t get waylaid by a hair malfunction this time. Travis basically tells her to shut down her office and work out of her house with a skeleton crew. Later, he tells Stephanie that D’Andra really just needs to scrap the whole business. He also tells Stephanie that she needs to put Kameron in her place. Travis seems as though he doesn’t care for Kameron.
We met Kary’s oldest daughter, Sophia is almost 21. Sophia has only had one boyfriend her entire life. Kary is wondering if it is a good idea for Sophia to marry the first relationship she has ever had.
Kameron’s daughter is going off to her first sleep away camp and seems thrilled to be getting out of the house. Apparently to get your eight-year-old kid in the proper sleep away camp, you have to put them on the waiting list when they are 18 months old. Kameron is going to miss her. Her parents keep trying to make her afraid to go. “Peace out.” she replies. I love this kid. Hilton is a tomboy and a daddy’s girl. Kameron feels like the third wheel.
LeeAnne”s Moulin Rouge Lingerie Shower
On paper Stephanie is hosting a lingerie party for LeeAnne but of course LeeAnne handled pretty much everything. Cary Deuber comes in early with Stephanie. It’s good to see her again. Everyone is dressed in Moulin Rouge type Lingerie. Is this normal? Also it’s a luncheon type deal. If my ass looked like LeeAnne’s, I dress like that 24/7. I’d be in Publix dressed just like LeeAnne. Kameron is appalled by all the hoeishness. I made that word up.

LeeAnne and Brandi rehash the whole trash situation as if it somehow involved these two instead of Brandi and Kameron. LeeAnne has to insert herself into every squabble. And yes she reminded us of her childhood abuse again. She really needs more therapy for that. She’s at a fancy party she threw for herself. She should try to enjoy it instead of talking about the worst times in her life.
LeeAnne catches Cary Deuber up on her side of all the RHOD gossip. D’Andra is not invited. She crying to Jeremy about her failed business. Jeremy is being a huge support. Plus, he’s HOT.
Out of nowhere, a ring master appears with the cake LeeAnne picked out and bought herself. She pretends to be surprised. Well, I am surprised. I’m not sure what a ring master with a circus tent cake has to do with Moulin Rouge. But, if LeeAnne is happy, everyone is happy.
Nothing Says Moulin Rouge Like A Glory Hole
So it’s time for a sex game. Cary has asked a series of questions about LeeAnne and LeeAnne has to give her answer and see if they match. Where is Bob Eubanks when you need him? One of the questions is taken straight from the original newlywed game. It used to be considered such a scandalous question that the contestants would blush and stammer. Not LeeAnne though. She says that Rich once drilled a hole in the neighbors fence so that they could play glory hole. Bet you didn’t see that coming and you have two eyes. Kary teaches us how to say disgusting in Spanish.

After all the girls give LeeAnne her lingerie themed gifts, including on odd pair of panties with little pictures of Rich all over them, Stephanie is ready to confront Kameron. For the love of GAWD can’t we just leave Kameron alone?
Stephanie is pissed that Kameron told Kary that she loved that she was so open to getting to know her. As, Kameron says, “that’s a fact.” She was just trashing her to Travis. She’s not a friend to Kameron. Kameron feels pretty much the same way about Stephanie. Stephanie opened up to Kary as well and she has not opened up to Kameron. Basically, they are fighting over the new girl and trying to draw Kary on to their side.

Stephanie brings up Kameron using the word trash. Kameron tell Stephanie that the conversation had nothing to do with her. She says she has promised herself that if anyone brings it up again she is going to get up and walk away. Good for her. Stephanie wants to bring up a situation between Brandi and Kameron and Kameron is not having it. She storms off pissed. She goes outside for some air and comes back in to hang with LeeAnne and Cary.
Meanwhile, Stephanie is crying, WHY? I agree with Kameron. Why is Stephanie trying to play the victim about a situation that happened between Brandi and Kameron? And why did Travis wind Stephanie up to do this and call Kameron an elitist before the party? He seems really butthurt that Kameron has the most money. Stephanie goes crying to LeeAnne. Literally. Really, Stephanie? Quit being a drama queen. Everyone has been really well-behaved at this little shindig except for you.
Next week, it’s yet another bridal party for LeeAnne. It’s girls and gays. And, A trip to a haunted house.
Dandra looks so different to me. Does she have a new face? I like the old face better.
I agree !! I knew there was something different……not as much exces skin. It’s a lovely face, imo, either way. ??
she had the “jawline thing” done…latest rage in plastic surgery
As in jaw bone shaved down or skin tightened around jaw? I was trying to figure out what’s different too. Did she get veneers too?
Not sure but she lost a lot of weight and changed her hair color. They both look like different people without the Johnny Cash black hair, but I found it beautiful at the time with the blue eyes. Deandra looks softer with a lighter makeup and pastel lip. I think she got Kybella injections in her neck, but she lost 30 lbs too!
I hate what’s going on what that company!!
If you’re referencing the above pics you may be making the same mistake I was…. that is Cary Debuer in the pics with the dark hair and dark lingerie, not LeeAnne. I had to look at the pics several times over to realize that was Cary!
Not LeeAnne I mean deandra! Ugh! Pics are Cary not deandra…. sorry
Eww, I am now grossed out by the hole in the fence thing. Did he make sure the hole was big enough before he stuck his wang through it? What was the fence made of? How could anyone really get turned on by that?
Oh you have NO idea!
Besides the obvious, the thrill is in the anonymity.
I mean I get the thrill and the spice, and I’m not denying I’ve ever done it, but my inner white boy comes out and I worry about the destruction of property and trespassing on the neighbours yard.
I fast forward through D’Andra’s scenes.
The way Kary’s daughter spoke to her mother made me uncomfortable. She came off very dismissive and uncompassionate when Kary tried to give her advice about being financially independent.
I don’t get the Kameron-Stephanie dispute. Kameron’s explanation made sense about what she said to Kary. Stephanie was making the Brandi is trash issue about her. Then she started crying about an argument she started? Bish please……. sit down.
Really ? I liked the daughter. Kary just kept going on about a career and having her own money. The daughter agreed with her and told her she was going to nursing school…several times. I think she felt like I did…just drop it and move on.
@JKW: I agree. I like the daughter. She seems mature, focused and respectful. She is in college. She is focused on a career where she can move anywhere and provide for herself. She has been with one guy for many years instead of hoping around. It seemed like she agreed to film some “bonding scenes” with mom and mom sort of chucked her under the bus.
Cary ought to be grateful that her daughter is not aspiring to be a Brielle.
Jr. I agree she was very respectful. My eyes would have been rolling up in my head by the 10th time she brought up being independent.
Yeah, when she said, “Well that’s YOUR fault,” we all know that rang true… lol!
Stephanie is a follower. She’s definitely Brandi’s b_tch. Brandi luvs to stir sh_t, as she did abt the incident at dinner in Mexico. My Gawd then Stephanie runs with it. I can’t stand that whining voice she has. So she runs to Fred Flintstone (her husband) for advice! Jesus Christ give it a rest! D’Andra feeling sorry for herself abt what’s left of the business and how her Mom screwed her! She’s 50 now & said her Mom convinced her to come home. Well how long did it take her to realize her Mom used her? She doesn’t seem like a go getter either!! D’Andra was spoiled by her Dad & still acts like a brat! You get up early to work& don’t miss important appts!! I think she’s lazy!
Kameron has my vote! She’s not taking any crap!
I don’t think Travis had to wind Stephanie up about Kameron being an elitist. It’s pretty obvious Kameron believes she is superior.
Earlier this season we saw Stephanie and Kam working out and mentioned they were spending time together apart from the group to get to know each other. I think it did hurt Stephanie’s feelings when Kameron told her in Mexico, in front of Carrie, that she feels like Stephanie never tried to get to know her and always takes Brandi’s side. Kameron is as fake as her narrative. Lest we not forget that Kameron made adopting a baby about herself, so it’s no surprise she would not entertain Stephanie’s feelings.
Kameron is a caricature in pink who seems to have no genuine connections to anyone. The way she shames and judges people is ridiculous. Girl, bye.
Agree with you. Stephanie was explaining she was hurt by the dismissive actions from Kameron, it was not about Brandi at all. Clearly Kameron’s empathy stops at her nose.
I agree with the both of you.
I think Stephanie just did a bad job expressing why she’s upset. Following her on IG, it seems she’s made a genuine effort to get to know Kameron outside of the group. Then Kameron made it seem like her efforts weren’t good enough. I think Stephanie just needs to grow some balls and not give a h*ck who likes her. If she’s not good enough for someone, that’s their fault.
I don’t know why but I want a trunk like Hilton’s. I way too old and my kids don’t even go to spend the night camp but that thing was adorable. And probably one hundred million dollars.
LeeAnne… you didn’t corner the market on childhood trauma and grief. We get it, it was bad but her life seems so fantastic and happy now. I hope she works through that.
I agree with your comments about Stephanie, Snail. I feel like there isn’t really a side to take on the Kameron-Stephanie “fight.” They both got their feelings hurt (reasonably so). They both are insecure. They were also the 2 who were most bothered by having an allowance. They both have husbands who adore them and married Type A financially successful husbands. They struggle with creating identities separate from their families.
Kameron feels everyone thinks she is superficial, and no one takes her seriously. Kameron thought she and Stephanie had a real connection but was hurt that Stephanie confided in Kary and conflates Kameron’s issues with Brandi as an issue with her. Kameron was raised and married into a family where impressions matter—a lot. She is the archetypical trophy wife. She is so used to masking her feelings and appearing the gracious socialite that she seems standoffish and prudish even in intimate social settings. She is stunning, adored by her family and granted every need and wish.Yet she still feels the need for approval from her husband, daughter and friends. She wants her husband to show he treats her as an equal, but he doesn’t always know how. He shows her love with respect and adulation and by caring for her financially, but that makes her feel less than. She has been coddled so much in her life, that she struggles knowing how to become self-sufficient and independent. I didn’t care for her season 2, but as she has shared more of her vulnerability and cute quirks, she is now quickly becoming my favorite RHOD.
Stephanie’s insecurity is multiplied by her mental illness. I liked Stephanie from episode 1 and appreciate immensely that she is baring her soul to us. She has no artifice and is using her platform in reality tv for good. Stephanie believes she is broken and not only doesn’t deserve friends and happiness but also thinks people will dislike the real her. That makes me so sad, even though I can relate on some scale. Travis makes Stephanie feel safe and loved unconditionally. Travis and Stephanie got flack season 1 for seeming inequities in their relationship. Now after a few more years getting to know them, I understand that Travis works hard to protect Stephanie and try to keep her insecurities and depression at bay. However that is a journey she must take for herself. She is trying really hard, but as many in this board know, it is a long and difficult process. Stephanie feels she shared her vulnerability with Kameron but Kameron turned around and said you aren’t good enough for me when she said Brandi is trash (which she didn’t exactly say).
Both women tried to break down their respective walls with each other. Both women saw in each other what they fear. They both interpreted the other’s action through a filter of low self esteem and inadequacy. It is an unfortunate instance of assumed behavior.
This is the most insightful thing I’ve read on this site. Will you be my shrink? Now I totally get why Travis was so regimented with Stephanie in the beginning and less so now. I was confused by his suddenly lack of need to control everything.
Awe. That means so much, TT. And I think you have yourself pretty well figured out. Your journey is important to a lot of us.
At first I thought that Travis didn’t like how he was portrayed on tv. Then everyone freaked out that Stephanie was so worried about Travis going away “to Harvard.” Last night just made it click. He wants to fight all her battles. He is so even-keeled and steady. He truly is her rock. The career in social works also fits. Stephanie is a true sweetheart who wants to save the world for the right reasons but gets stopped by her own demons.
I also could really appreciate watching Court last night. He wants to encourage Kameron without reenforcing social stereotypes or destroying her. That is why he was so strict in the dog food timeline. He wasn’t being mean. He knew she would respond positively.
I think I really get Stephanie. I love to see someone who has so much and appreciates her life but still struggles. Her talking head about the “real me” and visit on WWHL has provided me a lot of fodder for self reflection. She spoke out loud what I have felt for a long time and didn’t even realize.
What a foul person D’Andra’s mom is – wait until the business is flat and THEN make like you’re doing her a favour by handing it over. What a beeatch.
Did anyone question why D’Andra was wearing two different earrings when she was talking to her husband in her office?
Yes. Thought it looked nuts.
That Hilton is a very smart girl. She did great in her interview. In 10 years the Westcotts will send her off to an Ivy League school, if not SMU. A Boss in the making.
It was good to see Tiffany again. I wonder how her husband (aka Keith Urban Lite) is doing with his career?
So did Stephanie ever tell Brandi that she was also wrong for pointing and yelling in Kamaron’s face over something that didn’t involve Brandi?
