Police Called To Shannon Beador’s House

August 26, 2019 by tamaratattles 70 Comments

Shannon BeadorI’m up late catching up on BBAD and found this news in my email. Apparently Shannon Beador had a house party on Sunday night. First of all, as a southerner, we don’t have house parties on a Sunday night unless we are dumb 18 year olds and our parents are out of town. For the most part in my hood, including the influx of Mexicans, we all live by old school southern rules. And the big rule is we do not cut the grass or blow leaves or do anything to disturb the peace on Sundays. I love that that rule has lasted as long as it has. Apparently, that is not a thing in California. But it is here.

Oh and another thing that would not happen in my hood is taking selfies with the PoPo. But clearly, I don’t live the same life as Shannon Beador or the RHOOC.

So Shannon apparently had a party with her kids at home, according to sources to celebrate the end of summer.

The tres amigas were there and Kelly Dodd was not. She’s on the outs. I am not sure how I feel about Kelly Dodd at this point. She is/was in London and her Fox reporter flew over to see her.  I mean, come on. Really?

Shannon Beador’s Divorce Struggle

The thing is that Kelly is showing herself not to be friends in real life with any of them. And hey, that makes perfect senses she is younger. But if you are dumb enough to go up against the OG of the OC just because she is a “friend” this season, you are going to feel dumb as fuck when she has a Bravo wedding next season. I would say that Bravo would never get rid of Vicki, who as you notice is #1 in the photo above, but they TRIED TO THIS SEASON!  And then they had the nerve to demote her!

If Vicki agrees to get engaged this season and married next season, she is totally back in. Sorry Kelly.

In other news, should a woman who just went through a nasty custody battle and won be having parties where the cops show up?

It doesn’t say what time in was, but the photo shows after dark, or at least dusk. In every place I’ve lived in California, Sunday noise curfew is 10 p.m. The party doesn’t have to stop then, it just needs to be quieter after 10. All it takes is one pissy neighbor to call the popo at 10:01 or anytime it is “too loud” and they show up. Often, they roll up and stop nearby to gauge the level of noise. And when the noise is not too loud, the cops are very polite and sometimes go to the complainers to tell them they are being assholes. Consider Orange County, Consider how pissed some neighbors may be about production in “their” neighborhood. And, consider just WHICH BIGWIG may have complained. I know if I lived in Coto, I would be pissed about the shrieking of two RH. The noise level of that likely carries throughout the entire gated inside the gated community.

I mean that there has been an influx of Mexicans in my neighborhood. What is the word you don’t understand? Is it influx? And influx means the arrival of a large number of people. I could have said yankees but yankees are not moving into to my neighborhood. They move into nice neighborhoods like my sisters. The Mexicans who may or may not have been familiar with the customs of the Bible belt. One such custom is that you don’t mow the lawn, use leaf blowers run loud tools like saws, or otherwise disrupt the peace on Sunday. But in my neighborhood, we all seem to follow this unspoken rule. Today, it is raining so we get two days in a row of peace.

Once the rain stops we will be right back to loud construction as the house flippers have descended on my hood and bought up a ton of houses and the sawing and hammering will once again happen from dawn until dusk and join the cacophony of the old retired men who mow and blow their yards every single day because they are bored.

I believe what this person objected to was the use of a word normally used to imply something negative. You could very well have used the word ‘invasion ‘to the same effect. Perhaps word like ‘arrival ‘ would be just as descriptive and not so denigrating to Mexican people, who simply want to live in America like anyone else in your neighborhood.

After the house flippers are done, you can update us on the “influx of yankees” moving in, Tamara! The worst kind of people to move into the neighborhood are house flippers, once they show up then it’s “there goes the neighborhood” indeed. I lived in what used to be a little, trashy farming town in New England and now it’s just McMansions and Tesla’s as far as the eye can see……

Girlfriend, I can’t wait to GTFO of here! It’s not a bad neighborhood really. The gangs have mostly left. Still lots of drug dealers but the cops have actually cleared a few out for the first time since I’ve lived here. I feel relatively safe with a big dog and a the knowledge that most of my neighbors are really great people. The flip on one of the houses next door to me is nearly complete. Considering what they purchased the house for and the fact that they totally stripped it down to the studs and reconfigured the entire place, it’s going to on the market for about 2x what I paid for my little tear down. 🙂 This will be helpful to me. However the house on the other side has been empty for ages and the family has done NOTHING to it and it’s a total eyesore. No one seems in any hurry to unload it. They don’t understand that letting it sit for years is not increasing their offers. I’d like a 20% return on my investment since I overpaid just before the 2008 disaster. But once Banjo goes to doggie heaven I plan to leave the country for a while and see where I land. I’ve been a nomad since the age of 6 and I have been here WAY WAY WAY too long. I don’t do well without a change of scenery and frequent opportunities to get to a coastline.

That said, All the THINGS I have accrued from living here so long and traveling, and THINGS I inherited… are problematic. So is deciding where to go. I’ve changed my mind so many times I’m starting to realize that maybe I don’t want to MOVE out of the country. Perhaps I just want to travel the world a bit. Tonight I was thinking about Malta. I spent a lot of time there as a kid. I also realized that Australia is only a 10 or 11 hour flight from Hawaii. I’ve always wanted to go there but the 20+ hour flight is not something I can do now that I gots THE CRAZY!

The flight to Australia really isn’t that bad, IF you can get your hands on something that will help you sleep on the plane. And especially if you do the layover in Hawaii. If not, spend some time in Los Angeles; maybe you can visit some of your West Coast connections? After that, most all flights out of LA leave at night. It’s already dark. You’re served a meal asap. Have a glass of wine or cocktails. They’ll show you a movie to help pass the time. It’s dark, the cabin is quiet and most often one’s natural body rhythms are already slowing down. Take an ambien or two. Have another cocktail. Provided you can sleep, your body is already easing into the Australian time difference. You will sleep the “night” on the plane. Or you can zone out and watch another movie. When you awaken, the sun is starting to rise and it’s already morning in Australia. You’ll get breakfast on the plane and another movie. Hot towels to help wake you up. You’re now landing in Australia and it’s morning and you’ve slept the night away so you’re already adjusted to the Time Change. And if not, you’re arriving early enough in the morning to go check into your beautiful hotel and have a proper sleep in a real bed. Wake up at dinner time and resume your regular nocturnal schedule. Aussie flight attendants are lovely and the exchange rate is excellent for American travelers.

Lots of parents have parties while their kids are home. It could be an issue in court if David brings it up if the party was held on a school night, but judging by the comment about the photos being posted Friday night, not Sunday, I don’t think David would have a leg to stand on.

He can be petty all he wants, and he can try to make an issue out of every little thing Shannon does, but it’s far more detrimental to the kids to immediately move your new significant other into your house after filing for divorce.

The only time I considered calling the police on a neighbor’s party, is when they let a very drunk person who couldn’t carry a tune in a hand basket sing loud karaoke for many hours. I also found out the fastest way to clear out a pool full of partying teens is to walk up looking insane, which is not difficult for me to do. Make them think they’re about to be in a teen slasher flick, and they run.

    Sunday here was blissfully quiet.

I’ve lived in CdM for 20 years (it’s a little hood in Newport Beach) and Shannon just moved to the beach. The cut-off time for noise (any day of the week) is 11:00 p.m. Before then, there is a “right to peaceful enjoyment” law meaning if your neighbors are screaming like wild banshees and/or the music is so loud you can’t hear yourself think or they are drunk and unruly, you can call LE. There is a fee system that was just put into law a year or so ago for noise issues – first call $500.00, second call $1,000.00, etc. The asshole noisy people pay this. Anywhere near or on the beach in Newport, the houses are right next to each other. No yard space to speak of and no outdoor areas like you see in the backyards of Vicki and Tamra (Coto) Yes, the beach is nice, the water is pretty – blah, blah, blah….but the entire beach is public property and on weekends it’s one huge party because all the people who live inland and all the homeless and all the illegals (and that number is rising day by day in Newport BTW) come and set up house on the beach and bring everyone they know and picnic tables and BBQ grills and the music from their homeland on huge portable speaker systems and drugs and alcohol (prohibited BTW) and not enough public restrooms so I’ll leave that to your imagination and the noise level (not to mention smell) is unbelievable. The remedy is you either learn to deal with it or you don’t live on or near the beach. So, as for them being called – knowing this crowd? It was probably a shit show with their screeching and drunken shit and yelling at neighbors, etc. and let’s not forget the parking issue. There is zero parking on or near the beach. None. Nada. No public places are open after dark so that means cars have to drive around and find parking and that pisses off neighbors also. All in all, again – the remedy is if you move to or near the beach, this is how life is and you either put up with it or you can move.

Up the coast you have beaches open to four wheeler’s, further up is hang gliding beaches, small sporadic beaches where dogs are allowed and most are open after dark with small fires allowed at some. But if its Federal it closes at dark as do some State beaches. All California beaches are open to the public except a few places which have somehow remained private. Dogs have mostly been banned on the most populated beaches, thank goodness. Cops do patrol for open containers, seems that most beaches don’t allow drinking, at least if you are calling attention to yourselves. We’ve had drinkers in our group and never been hassled. if they are not patrolling often they will be in parking lot, waiting.
As to California being loonie liberal state, sorry to say that is not true, we have large patches of Republicans. Those have grown smaller over the past few years. It is not just the South who lived by quiet Sundays, many communities live that way out here. I live in a community of 11 homes, we try to live and let live out here. We’ve one lady who does not like that rule and works herself to a frazzle each year over something. She is now selling and moving to a Red state where she will be much happier with rules Everyone has worked hard to live out here, we are not going to tell you or any home owner what can or can not be done. There are a few basic rules about no renters or commercial enterprises with exceptions. We all try to be respectful but we’ve families with young kids who dirt bike each Sunday 4 hours, loud yes but kids will grow up.

Nothing will ever change my opinion of Shannon. I think she made David’s life a living hell. He should’ve left eons ago sans having an affair. Which she’ll use against him the rest of his days.

Shannon thinks she is as young as her daughters and that Vicki and Tamra are buds for life. They are frenemies at best.

I agree with your assessment of Shannon. I think she’s been a self entitled spoiled bitch her entire life. Just look at how she’s acted on this show since she’s been on. She has screeched and carried on about anything and everything that hasn’t been exactly to her liking. Contrast her behavior to David’s who has been soft spoken & always walking on eggshells around her for fear of an emotional explosion. And I believe that behavior preceded any affair he had. The relationship with David’s mother & sister told the story as well. They observed how Shannon treated him. And they were banished for sticking up for him.

I’m very popular with my neighbors, because my idea of a party is to order a gluten free Hawaiian pizza (shut up! it’s my only comfort food!), open an overpriced grapefruit-infused vodka, and watch a) John Hughes movies; b) Jenna Marbles videos; or c) any show that could be titled Rich People Arguing. The downside to this is I do this in my bedroom by an open window and spend a lot of time shouting things at my beagle that could be…well, misconstrued by passersby. Things like “Stop touching things with your anus!” and “Do NOT put your ween on my Man Pillow!” So when I say I’m popular with my neighbors, what I really mean is they avoid me because they think I might be making porn.

There is plenty of IN YOUR FACE racism in this country every day. Why not use your anger and start voting out some of the racists currently in office.

The south has what is known as tradition and I think that’s awesome, out here on the left coast we don’t have that and it kind of makes me sad.

As a member of a southern/Mexican household, we most certainly mow our grass, host pool parties, and maybe even enjoy a drink on Sundays. Because make no mistake, if my grass is longer than 4 inches on Monday, my asshole neighbor would call code enforcement, SWAT, and ICE on us.

LOL. No, seriously it must suck to be targeted by a neighbor. Hang in there. Good wins in the end.

Sounds like you are the asshole in the hood that can’t mow the grass on Saturday like everyone else. No wonder your neighbor hates you. Perhaps mowing on Saturdays would change your whole life. No one said anything about pool parties. Unless they are loud enough to disturb your neighbors right to peace.

I really do think, after reading all of the comments, that the problem was using ‘influx’ and ‘Mexicans ‘ in the same sentence. Sadly, the current political climate has made everyone soooooo sensitive to to every kind of word. Sorry that you’re being so misunderstood.

And maybe I’m an asshole too, but he’s just a lonely asshole with no friends, no family, spewing misery on anyone he judges unworthy. Used to feel bad that no one invited him to our rotating neighborhood bbqs, but then I realized he was all alone for a reason.

And I guess we are all a subdivision of assholes because we all wave to each other as we mow, edge, weedeat and blow our lawns. And if the precious little snowflakes don’t like it, they can melt.

It would be great if we could get good, bad or indifferent police in this neighborhood. They would never come for a noise violation. You can call 911 but they simply won’t come. Even if the noise violation is shots fired. That is a frequent occurrence.

When my house was broken into It took three hours of me calling 911 while standing in the street wondering if someone was still inside my house. When the officer eventually showed up, he literally said, “What did you expect in this neighborhood?”

It was interesting to me that in Orange County they cops go out and take selfies with the noise violators. One could mistakenly get the impression that rich white people, and people who live in different neighborhoods might be treated a little bit differently.

Holy Crap, who are these people commenting about racism in here? Im offended by the person who is so uninformed, uneducated he thinks California, as large as it is, we are all the same? Drive a hour+ or so and you will be in an entire different climate and political affiliation zone. We have every religion, nationality, ethnicity, education level, different interests, etc and we try to respect and support all. Give that a try, its interesting and better than a bland, rule led place where everyone thinks the same way. TT/and others have a good week, I went to a lobster fest in Carmel Valley yesterday, had a blast. Nothing like lobster in a valley town.

Perhaps you could read a book. I’ve had a lazy weekend reading All God’s Children Need Traveling Shoes. I’m pretty sure I’ve read it before but I’ve forgotten it, so it’s like reading it for the first time. It’s one of the benefits of getting old and having memory problems

I am glad to see that the police officer was able to feel relaxed enough that he wasn’t walking into a domestic violence situation, in a car chase ( practically everyday) or drive-by shooting. Hopefully it was a relief to him that he was just walking into a back to school, end of summer party and took a selfie. Those homes where Shannon lives are divided by a deck outside between their houses on the water there. We here always try to let our neighbors know when we are having a party. Also, the Monarch Resort sends out notice on Facebook to let us know if there will be a wedding with fireworks at night so we can prepare our pets. I don’t know if it’s an elitist thing but the police seem more laid back in the beach towns and seem more casual about things.

I really wanted people to see and debate that comment with me. I sort of think it really might have been a stripper! Am I nuts to think so? I mean these women are all um…. very sexualized.
