As Tamara Tattles exclusively reported, Vicki Gunvalson has been Demoted for Season 14.
As previous reported, Vicki Gunvalson’s contract came up for renewal at the end of season 13. In January, Vicki had a conversation with Evolution Media about her story trajectory on the show going forward. Production often does this with the talent prior to pitching the new season to Bravo.
When contracts came out for season 14, Vicki did not hear anything. As the filming season drew closer, Vicki became concerned that she has missed some correspondence from Evolution Media. Vicki Gunvalson asked her attorney to check in regarding her contract renewal.
In response, Evolution media sent her a proposal of terms which included a much lower salary quote at a day rate. Fulltime cast members and even some recurring friend contracts are offered at a per episode rate. It was clear that something was very wrong.
Vicki Gunvalson Struggled To Get A Contract
After many emails, Evolution Media eventually sent a revised offer that is per episode but WAY lower than her fulltime episode pay. I should point out her that RHOC salaries are very low compared to the ridiculous salaries the RHOA draw. After thirteen years on the franchise, Vicki Gunvalson made less than half of what Nene Leakes made per episode as a fulltime cast member. Marlo Hampton had a similar salary on RHOA. Vicki was offered a contract at a much lower rate per episode. The terms of the part-time contract allow for her to be heavily featured, or barely seen depending on what production decides during the season.
