UPDATE: Y’all it’s been a crazy 24 hrs IRL and I need some sleep but check out this Twitter account!
Sorry when I put it in earlier for some reason the entire account was posted. weird.
Today was the fifth day of court for Jenelle and David Eason. The couple has been fighting to get custody back of their children after David Eason killed the family pet. Today a North Carolina judge ruled that all of the children will stay where they are for now. Barbara has Ensley, and of course Jace. Nathan has his son Kaiser despite Jenelle wanting Kaiser to stay with some random friend of hers who has kids of her own and a husband with a criminal background. Maryssa is with her maternal grandmother.
The Ashley has the exclusive details on the hearings. She reports that last week Jenelle took the stand on to plead with the judge to give her back her kids. Other people testified about their observations while visiting The Land. It was not clear if David Eason testified. I presume that would not have helped his case.
David Eason and Jenelle were allowed supervised visits with their kids on most if not all of the court days. Last Friday the opted not to take the family visit. Jenelle claimed she was not feeling well and just wanted to got home. She was in court today.
According to The Ashley:
“She was devastated and shocked,” the source stated of Jenelle’s reaction to the ruling. “She was very confident that the judge would give them back the kids.”
Jenelle is not leaving David; however, the judge told in court her that “at this point, it doesn’t matter if she left him or not, because she failed to protect her kids.”
The source also states that Jenelle and David Eason will return to court next Tuesday to learn the steps they need to take and the actions they need to complete in order for them to regain custody.
I presume some of those things will include David Eason and/or his guns getting off the land. The judge made it clear he was not happy with Jenelle allowing her children to be around David Eason.
This sad mess just keeps getting sadder and messier. Thanks to The Ashley for alerting me to this news.
