It’s time to catch up on Porsha Williams baby spin-off! I not really in the best headspace for two recaps in a row tonight, but hopefully, but hopefully this episode will perk me up a bit! Let’s Get this Porsha’s Having A Baby Recap started!
Dennis McKinley may still have all of his belonging in the basement, but his kitchen skills are allowed a place in the the kitchen. I really want to snatch me a piece of that bacon he was cooking up for Porsha. Porsha is eating her way through this pregnancy!
Porsha, Dennis and both of their mothers are interviewing nannies for baby PJ. This has to be staged. These applicants don’t seem to have any qualifications for the job. Finally, an experienced nanny.

Porsha Is A Healthy Eater!
Then it is time to feed Porsha once again. For some reason, she is eating out of a container on her front steps. Dennis tries to get Porsha to reconsider the bachelor pad style house he put an offer in on. She is not having it. Who puts and offer in on a house without consulting the other person who will be expected to live there? Who buys a party house when they are about to have their first child?

Porsha has nearly a full room of baby gifts. Why didn’t she open all of those presents at the baby shower? The nursery is finally completed. It’s very modern. Porsha talks to Dennis’s mom about the baby. But mostly she just wants convince her to buy the bachelor pad. And to get going on the prenup. Porsha doesn’t want to deal with the stress of a prenup until after she has the baby. Dennis’s mother also wants them to get married as soon as possible. She is getting married at the New Year. Porsha very politely tells Dennis’s mom to butt out of their marriage.
Afterward, Porsha and Dennis talk privately. Porsha wants Dennis to have a talk with his mother and ask her to respect the boundaries of their marriage.
Denise Has An Ex Named Pilar!
Porsha and Lauren go over to Shamea’s house to eat some more. Porsha tells Shamea that she has allowed Dennis the use of half of the bathroom. Which is a good idea since they are living together. I don’t think Porsha gets that they actually do live together and that Dennis needs access to his stuff. Surely he could make a man cave in one of those big old rooms.
Porsha and Dennis talk about PJ’s name. She is set on Pilar Janae. Dennis has an ex-girlfriend named Pilar so he’s not sold on the idea. Dennis has “dated” someone with just about every name out there so that’s not a real consideration. Unfortunately, he doesn’t already have a Pilar tattoo so he’s going to have to add one. Porsha refuses to compromise on the baby’s name. Or the house. Or anything basically.
Dennis And Porsha Go To Couples Therapy
These two go to see Dr. Sherry for some counseling. Dennis wants to talk about the living situation. Right away they can’t even agree on what the living arrangement was supposed to be. Dennis is not happy living all the way in Duluth. The commute is terrible. So, Dennis wants to live in the city. Not in Duluth with all the deer running around.
Porsha says Dennis didn’t sell his apartment like he said he would. She found out when she divorced Kordell that the did the same thing which his original place. Dennis says the house they live in now is in her name only. So what’s the difference? Also, he’s pissed that Porsha wants to charge him rent to live in her house. Then Porsha very nonchalantly says that Dennis’s stuff has to stay in the basement. Because, the master bedroom closet is full of her stuff. Again, how many bedrooms are in this house?
What? Apparently both of their mothers are going to be moving in to Porsha’s house? What happened to her mom’s place? Dr. Sherry points out that two mothers-in-law under their roof is a recipe for disaster.
Porsha and Dennis argue all the way home in the car. Porsha is not one for compromise.
Next week is the finale! And the last Porsha’s Having A Baby Recap!
Two mother in laws under one roof is assurance that Miss William’s will be getting another special episode or spin off. Reality television PLATINUM.
then they will need a 12 bedroom house so everyone and their stuff can have their own rooms
I am still on the fence about Dennis. I pray that he is a good fit for Porsha. She will make a wonderful mother, but as for a wife, I do believe that she carries some baggage from her first marriage that will affect her relationship going forward. I pray that Dr. Sherrie can help! Lord knows how difficult it is to let go of the past!
Even with five bedrooms, I would think twice before allowing my mother and mother-in-law to stay for over a week. But being first-time parents is a big deal, so I can somewhat understand. I would love to own a five-bedroom home! I digress!
It was wonderful seeing Porsha’s best friend, along with her baby ?. That was a cute scene! ?
I agree with everything you said. I can see having kids Diane there for a few weeks, but Dennis’ mother too? That’s insane. I don’t think Porsha will ever get over whatever it is that really happened with her and Kordell.
I agree. Porsha has some very set ideas about marriage and I think the failure of her union with Kordell tore her apart. She needs to make sure she is fully healed before she enters another marriage. I think she has it in her to be a wonderful partner but she is scared of being hurt again, and a baby in the mix ups the stakes exponentially.
Sorry TT I just do not get the appeal for this violent tramp. She’s got a baby and now I’m thinking there’s another violent someone in the making.
Porsha definitely has anger issues. How she conducts her sex life is her business, but as for being a ‘tramp’, I’ve really only ever seen her as a hopeful serial monogamist.
I know she is no angel, but when Porsha is good, she is good (tv).
Dude, May I call you dude? lol I think we are all just vicariously caught up in the/her pregnancy hormones. I am sure I will go back to hating her and her thug behavior soon.
Porsha has made it obvious that this is HER house. If Dennis ever is going to live not like a refugee, they need to get a different house that is THEIRS from the beginning. And figure out how the rooms will be used BEFORE they buy it. And Dennis better pray Porsha doesn’t catch wind of Toya’s (Married to Medicine) 2-Story closet. I believe — yes, people seen in public at events need a larger closet than a person in corporate life — but beyond that, it’s the bigger the closet, the more insecure the person. Remember how much stuff Carrie Bradshaw fit in her smallish closet?
You DON’T HAVE TO LIVE LIKE A REFUGEE, Dennis!
Look if Nanette gave me the earworm of the day, YOU ALL BETTER HAVE IT! 🙂
You don’t have to live like a refugee…
