I felt sorry for Luann de Lesseps when she was arrested in Palm Beach County on Christmas Eve of 2017. She started off doing all of the right things. She immediately went to rehab. At that time, she appeared to be contrite.
But not too long after that she relapsed. Bethenny Frankel saved her job with Bravo. She got her Tiger Woods attorney and put her back in rehab. She didn’t stay in as long as she needed to and left to do her cabaret tour.
I reported back in February that Luann had violated her probation and was not attending AA meetings. Since there were no repercussions at the time for that, Luann apparently felt quite comfortable drinking and ignoring her probation all together.
FIVE AA MEETINGS DURING ENTIRE PROBATION PERIOD?
Recent court documents obtained by Starcasm reveal that instead of going to two meetings a week, Luann de Lesseps has been to a total of five meetings. Oh, and she told her probation officer she had “two mimosas” after her cabaret show in Chicago.
Does she think this a game? Does she not realize your average person would still be in jail for what she did?
The probation officer has filed a second report with Palm County. That report indicates that she refused and alcohol monitor as “too invasive.” Does she think these are options she is being offered?
The Palm Beach folks are not having it. According to Starcasm,
The Florida Department of Corrections responded by summarizing the situation before presenting the following conclusion:
This is the second notification of other state violation that has been submitted. The subject has failed to provide sufficient documentation of completed AA meetings which she was ordered to complete 2 AA meetings per week. At the time of this writing [April 24], only 5 have been received. It appears to affiant that the subject is not serious about her sobriety or the orders of this Court. As stated on previous notification, the subject has used her unlimited travel as a reason to be noncompliant with her conditions of supervision.
Unlike the the previous non-compliance report filed in February, the judge this time decided that further action was required. His instructions were to “provide Affidavit and violation report, schedule VOP (Notice to Appear) hearing, and instruct offender to return to Florida for hearing.”
It’s been clear all during this filming that Luann is not in a program or attending AA. In last night’s episode she told Jill Zarin she is a “special kind of alcoholic.”
Starcasm was the first to report this story. Then it was summarily stolen by Chelsea Hirsch, the number one content thief at Page Six.
