In more What Is It Going To Take To Get Nene Leakes Fired? news, Nene Leakes was wasted while hosting the Ladies Night Out Comedy Tour over the weekend. I feel like I just wrote a post on Nene Leakes being wasted. Why didn’t she get fired from this job over the Uber incident?
It was a disaster from start to finish at The Theater at MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland last Saturday. Apparently, they tried backstage for nearly an hour to get her sobered up and out on the stage. They should have pulled her completely and had Loni Love take over. Instead, Nene stumbled through her one job of introducing the comedians. She got the names wrong. Nene repeated herself. She seemed disoriented. She stumbled on the way to the microphone before shouting a profanity laced greeting to the crowd.
According to The Daily Mail, the crowd was confused by her rantings and nonsensical comments. Eventually, Loni Love had to take over the introductions. Nene continued her meltdown backstage accusing people of putting something in her drink.
One of the fans at the meet and greet offered to pray with Nene. During the prayer, Nene began sobbing. At that point, Loni interrupted the prayer and took Nene backstage.
It Was A Vitamin
After the story was published, a rep for Nene (probably that Maloof Fool) issued a ridiculous explanation. Here is part of that statement:
Prior to the show, Nene had taken a vitamin on an empty stomach. Neither she nor Gregg had eaten all day, and when she arrived at the venue she had a cocktail backstage. She then got immediately sick.
As Nene takes every professional commitment seriously, Nene assured everyone backstage that she was OK and would still do the show as planned despite feeling incredibly sick and unsure of what the cause was. Immediately after the show, Nene did confide in Gregg and those backstage “Why would I be sick like this. I only had ONE drink. Who made this for me, did someone put something in my drink?”
‘Gregg was also sick, from not eating all day and having to take medication on an empty stomach, which is when they realized this was the cause. Nene had not taken the vitamin with food as advised, mixed with having only one cocktail prior to the show. Any emotion to these statements were because of frustration and confusion by Nene as to why she was feeling so sick when she barely drank; evidence from her asking if there might have been someone who spiked her drink.’
I think everyone in the world has taken a vitamin on an empty stomach. It can make you violently ill. It can make you throw up. But, it does not make you stumble around incoherently and unable to speak full sentences. I think “the vitamin excuse” is strangely admitting she took a pill.
I’m more appalled that no one is taking care of Gregg ONCE AGAIN.
And Nene’s pick up letter should have arrived this week. Great job once again, Bravo.
