Guess Who Just Followed Brandi Glanville? And Other Bravo News…

Gratuitous Erika Jayne photo, because…stun

Breaking social media news, y’all. It seems that #puppygate is causing some strange bedfellows. According to the buzz on my Twitter timeline, Kyle Richards has followed Brandi Glanville.

If you recall, Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump both vowed never to film with Brandi Glanville again. And they haven’t. Although, Brandi Glanville does have a scene this season with  Denise Richards. Something tells me that scene is going to be about Lisa Vanderpump and her evil ways. This season of RHOBH has the old timers reminiscing on all the times Lisa Vanderpump has hidden behind new cast members while she has them doing her dirty work.

One of those new cast mates was Brandi Glanville. That said, Kyle didn’t like Brandi from the moment Brandi arrived. And, Brandi has done some really shitty things…okay a lot of really shitty things… without any help from LVP.

However, one really shitty thing Brandi did involved bringing some tabloids on a girls trip. And those tabloids were claiming that Mauricio was cheating. And, LVP all on her own took some jabs at her “dear friend Kyle about it. She also encouraged Brandi to bring the tabloids on the trip.

It looks like Kyle is ready to at least think about letting bygones be bygones.

In other news, I love some of Erika Jayne’s new photos on her IG. Had to share. She has all the fashions that Marlo Hampton wishes she had. And she doesn’t have to return them with the tags on. Allegedly.

Where In The World Is Ramona Singer?

Kyle Richards and her tribe are in Aspen and she ran into Ramona Singer. I feel like this is the third or fourth Bravo personality who has run into Ramona somewhere lately. She seems to be doing a lot of traveling. Good for Ramona!

I am looking into moving to Costa Rica for a bit in a couple of years. I fully expect to see Sonja Morgan. That is where everyone goes for cosmetic surgery and dental implants and upscale cosmetic treatments.

When I was a kid in Libya, we ran into Omar Shariff in a restaurant. When I was in St. Lucia, I ran into Jay Manuel. I am here to tell you that Jay Manuel is the most beautiful human being on the planet. I wanted to touch his face because it looked like you could scoop it onto your finger and eat it. I feel like I have run into other famous people in the wild, but I forget who they were.

Have you ever run into any  celebrities while out and about in the world?

By the way, my IG has had a recent makeover, give me a follow if you are an IG person!

I saw Prince play once in a small club. He had the most beautiful skin. It was just amazing. Nothing sold at Sephora or an upscale department store could have come close to giving you (or a man clean shaven) a glow like his. And he seemed so down to earth. I know that might sound unlike his performances on TV, but he did. I’d just come from his sold out concert where he played for 2+ hours to an after show where he played through the night. He simply loved playing and didn’t care where he did it. Amazing talent.

Ooh! I have a Prince story! My girlfriend was dating a guy who lived in Cincinnatti when I was in college and we went to this huge nightclub for Purple Rain night (this was right before the move came outand Prince showed up on stage and played forever!

People were lined up at the payphones calling everyone they knew. He was incredible.

We see celebrities almost daily here in South Florida because it is season. Last week we were in Naples for the week working and Frankie Valley came in the restaurant! OMG did I fangirl! I love him so much and Frankie Valley and the Four Seasons was my very first album.

My favorite celeb story is when Sephora first opened in Times Square, their first in the US, I talked to this short blond about our mutual love of a good, matte blue red lipstick for 30 minutes. As I was walking out the door, my husband asked me if I realized I had just spent 30 minutes talking to Drew Barrymore!

A couple years ago I went to my nephew’s highschool basketball game against another local small high school and Luke Perry was sitting in stands watching one of his family members play also.. needless to say I didn’t really pay much attention to the game after that because I was star-struck. I made sure to make a trip to the concession stand when I saw him head out of the gym at half time, but didn’t have enough nerve to actually approach him. He was even more handsome up close than he was on tv.

When I was in 10th grade, in 1986, I acted out a scene from As The World Turns with John Hensley who Played Holden Snyder. He and another soap star made an appearance at our local mall in Miami, Florida. In the scene I got to kiss him on the lips. Don’t worry it was a PG kiss. I was on cloud nine for days.

Does someone have an Elton John story? I need to hear it, I have loved this man forever! Went to see a horrible movie last night,. My family literally said “keep moving” to me as I watched my boo come true on the silver screen! I literally said, I think they made a movie about my boo! They both said in unison “”we’ll take you!” keep moving, we want popcorn!

    I have loved Elton forever.

I saw Elton John at the Met Gala years ago I went over to talk to him then realized I had nothing to say. So I told my sister sees him sometimes in the supermarket in Buckhead. He jumped up from the table and excitedly exclaimed he loves Buckhead. He called over David Furnish and introduced us saying my sister lived in Buckhead. We talked for a while. Elton had a very large van clef arpels ruby broach we discussed. Then I left.

Ran into Tony Orlando and his new wife in DC at the Lincoln memorial. Both very gracious and friendly.
Met Fred Dalton Thompson in my hometown in Tennessee. That voice! He also was a foot taller than me and I’m not short. Very nice, but then he was running for office at the time. My mother knew him from years ago when he was an attorney in Nashville.

I think Erika has a style that reminds me of how some women are dressed in Italy, crazy at times and fun. I see a lot of humour in it!

I once talked to a fashion designer I know in a street in Marais in Paris one night, she gave some gossip about John Galliano and his parties, we stood near to his former home and he lived there and worked still at Dior by that time. Just when she says his name, he passed by very near and looked at us. He had just exited the bar around the corner of that street where the ‘scandal’ took place later that caused him to lose his job.

And saw Bobby Brown in Atlantis, Bahamad–he had done a concert there and after, he and his crew came down to the casino. They closed off a bar area for him and his crew to party, Whitney was there at the hotel too but never came downstairs to his after party. And he got arrested coming back from that Atlantis trip, in Miami.

I was in jail with Bobby Browns sister. We rode the bus together from the courthouse to the jail. She told me who she was and a bunch of stories. I also once was on a jail bus with Puck from The Real World San Francisco. He told us some crazy stories. He also lied about why he was there. He said he beat up a really bad guy but he was there for domestic violence against his live in gf at the time. I’ve been sober for almost 2 years now so no more jail for me thank god!

Don’t know if a person who was only a celebrity in death fills the bill here. I worked at the CNN building in Hollywood and was driving home one Friday afternoon. A gray Jaguar ahead of me with a blonde female driver had a vanity plate that said “L84AD8”. I thought to myself, “Yeah, yeah, you’re rich and your time is more important than anyone else.” A week later People magazine came out with their issue on the big news about the Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman murders. They mentioned Nicole Simpson had a license plate with “L84AD8” on her car. Apparently I saw her the day before the murders.

Mike Tyson tried to pick me up in a club years ago. Saw Prince do an impromptu show at a club after I had attended his concert. Saw Joan Rivers in the gift shop with her little dog, Spike, when I worked at an airport. Jumped into a limousine with the band Toni Braxton’s Ed-husband was once a part of. Got a pic with Don Ho in Hawaii years ago. Thanks for reminding me of these fun times in my youth, TT!

While not a big fan of Erika, I am loving this photo of her! Very Jessica Rabbit meets real life glam girl. As far as Kyle, first question that popped into my mind was… What’s your motive for this sudden Brandi interest?

Most unlikely celebrity encounter No. 1 for me – going to a remote home in the forest to inquire about gaining access to a fire behind the home (I worked as a fight fighter for the forest service), and having Jane Fonda open the door, invite me in, introduce me to Peter and Becky Fonda sitting at the kitchen table, and then engaging in small talk while they called the grounds keeper to ferry me to the smoke.
2nd interesting encounter was with Brad Pitt and Craig Schaefer, while they were filming A River Runs Through It. I was slinging drinks during day shift ( a truly crappy shift for tips). Brad and Craig walk in and sit down at the bar. No one there but us. Craig was rude and dismissive. Brad was charming and gracious. When they left, Brad winked at me, and rolled his eyes at Craig’s back. Brad left me a $20 tip for a $2.00 beer. Craig left me nothing.
3rd interesting encounter was with Michael Keaton during his heyday Batman days. My husband and I decide to go to dinner at our local bistro. We have no reservation. We inquire at the desk about a table and are told a 20 minute wait. Fine. Get a drink and wait in a beautiful lobby bar. Just as we turn to leave we here the people behind us ask the same thing we did (no reservations-how long of a wait?) and hear the hostess say “No wait, right this way”. We turn and see Michael Keaton with an elder man. Of course, right? Only what we hear next is Michael say, “You told them a 20 minute wait. We will wait with them”. !! You should have seen the look on the hostess face. Michael and, it turns out, his Dad, sat down with us in the lobby and visited for about 5 minutes before they found my hubby and I a table so they could seat their celebrity. I have loved Michael Keaton ever since.

This all happens in a little town in Montana. Yes Lady Cocotte, Montana!

I had a bizarre celebrity encounter in LAX. I was dozing in a chair at my gate when I heard a commotion and looked up to see airport staff assisting Verne Troyer (Mini Me from Austin Powers) in his scooter and he was being mobbed by excited children. He shook one boy’s hand who exclaimed ‘I am never washing this hand again!’.

Suddenly, there was an uproarious laugh from a nearby seat, and I looked up to see Kevin Spacey highly amused by the entire spectacle.

Weirdest travel moment ever, and I’ve had a few.

I met Chris Farley and Tom Arnold during a Wisconsin Iowa football game. They were behind us in line for the cash machine. I offered them a shot from my bar-noculars, but they declined and we made small talk. Both very down to earth guys, of course hilarious. Then a small crowd started to form as they were being recognized, so I told them to go before us so they could get out of there. Found out later that they were on the sober path, so I felt bad offering them a drink, I had no idea. I can’t imagine how hard that must’ve been, everywhere you go, everyone wants to party with you.

Was in Ocean City, MD on a quick girls trip to the beach. I don’t remember exactly how long ago. Maybe 6-7 years ago. We were at this bar, Liquid Assets, which was a roof top bar with great sunset views. Across the bar, could see someone that looked to be surrounded (not mobbed by any means), but there was a crowed. I got a little closer and it was Jax Taylor. I don’t remember how this came about, but he did come over and talk to my group for around 5 minutes and took a pic with us. Nice guy and very personable for the brief time that he chatted. Had no idea why he was there in town. That is my mediocre celebrity sighting.

Then he literally had to stand there while the plane deboarded to wait for his assistant who obviously was in coach last row.
