Vanderpump Rules Jax Says He Is Not A Liar Lala Says She Is An Alcoholic

March 18, 2019 by tamaratattles 48 Comments

The cast of Vanderpump Rules is doing the most tonight on social media prior to tonight’s episode. I’m not sure I believe any of them.

First, Let’s start with Jax Taylor. He posted the above photo of him in the navy with these comments.

I Cannot Tell A Lie!

In the past 24 hours a certain individual who claims to have a team behind them has tried very hard to slander my name and reputation. They have gone out of their way to reach out to every company I’ve ever partnered with, my network, my management team and my family, claiming that i never served in the navy and i would be facing immeasurable repercussions for stolen valor.

I typically don’t waste my time with trolls like these, but this person has gone too far without knowing or investigating the facts.

THE FACTS:

I served in the United States Navy in 1999 USS Roosevelt cvn79, stationed in Norfolk, VA. I attended school at Lackland Air Force in San Antonio, TX and Boot Camp in Great Lakes, Chicago IL.

My entire family, specially my father was extremely proud of me and i remember the tears in his eyes watching me at my graduation ceremony. How dare someone try to tarnish such an integral part of my life and spew such wrongful lies and accusations. I have not taken this lightly and consequences will be dealt with.

Hi, I Am Lala, And I’m An Alcoholic!

Next, we have Lala Kent. Lala went on Instastories last night to let us all know she is an alcoholic. She says she realized this five months ago. That was probably when tonight’s episode was filmed.  Lala is having issues dealing with the loss of her father.

On tonight’s episode entitled Trouble in La La Land, Lala Kent will be seen taking out her grief, probably while drunk, on James Kennedy, his girlfriend Raquel, and Billie Lee.

Lala  has been going to AA meetings and finding them very useful. She’s enjoying being clear-minded while dealing with many situations. I’m happy she is happy. And, it is very smart of her to get ahead of the trolling that will undoubtedly happen tonight.

Be sure to watch Vanderpump Rules starting now on the east coast. Then, come back for the fabulous recap from Lady Cocotte in the morning.

Supposedly, Kristen said on a podcast that Jax only went to boot camp. When I pulled this info off his IG the very next comment was someone saying that USS Roosevelt is cvn 71 not cvn79.

My issue with this post is that even he claims he served in 1999 not for a certain number of years. It looks to me like he was out or got kicked out. Otherwise he would have had at least a couple of years served.

Maybe medical discharge? People who want out badly enough are usually able to get some dr to believe whatever medical reason they profess is bad enough to prohibit them from continuing their service. He strikes me as excatly the type that would do that. Maybe it was that deviated septum of his?? 😉

My husband was in the navy. It sounds like Jax went to boot camp, then A school, then got stationed on a ship. And then quickly got kicked out. My bet would be because of drugs.

You can’t really just quit. You can get medically discharged early or admin discharged, as in doing something really wrong.

If you’re really terrible at your job and have a rate(job) that’s easy to fill, they can force you out. I’ve seen it happen to ppl with messy personal lives. They don’t get an option to re-enlist just a dishcharge. Or he could’ve failed a random UA. Either scenario easily works with what we know of Jax.

He corrected the ship number on his post and it now says he did a tour in Kosovo. It still seems fishy. I’ve never met any military personnel who didnt start out by saying how many years they served. And I believe the shortest navy contract is 3 years. Who knows?! The guy’s a compulsive liar which makes anything he says hard to believe.

That I don’t believe. Jax also claimed Channing was his dorm mate at the University of Michigan. Jax never attended that college with a hockey scholarship. I read an in-depth interview on Jax and the Navy was the only thing that checked out correctly.

In terms of “never met someone who didn’t say how many years they served” – that isn’t fair. Because you might have met people who didn’t talk about serving at all. My cousin died last year from the result of his exposure to Agent Orange. I knew he served – in terms of men his age and economic status, it was more unusual to find someone who DIDN’T.

But like Jax, my cousin was “support”. Because of that status, he never really talked about it because he saw his friends experience combat. I didn’t even realize until about 10 years ago, even though I knew he served during the Vietnam War, that he was actually IN Vietnam.

He started experiencing major health issues about 10, 15 years ago (and had had issues before that, that was chalked up to age, etc.). I won’t go into details, but a nurse assigned to his son in law (who was disabled b/c of his time in Afghanistan) figured out that he had been exposed to Agent Orange. He had never approached the VA b/c of his health, never thought about his eligibility or status as a vet b/c he was “just support”.

I loved my cousin, but he was probably more of an asshole than Jax (although he adored his wife and wouldn’t cheat – kind of why I think Jax may go the distance with Brittany). I find that Jax’s lack of discussion about his military experiences and not being forthcoming with the details completely believable.

All he would have to do is show his discharge papers to prove he was honorably discharged.. End of story. Lackland is an Air Force Base and is the home for Air Force basic training, but I suppose the Navy could have tech schools there…Seems odd but possible. Great Lakes is where Navy basic training is.

He could have been in the reserves I guess, but that’s a longer hitch and any military person would make that distinction when discussing their stint. Again, this would all be cleared up if you had just said I served in the Navy and I was honorably discharged.

That’s a Navy boot camp graduation picture. A pic of his DD-214 with the social blacked out would solve it all. Then again it would also show the reason he was discharged so he may not want to show it after all.

I’ve been reading lots of chatter about this.

I am not sure he typed it himself. It would be easy for someone to goof on the ship’s number. The Roosevelt was stationed there (Norfolk). He also said one of his tasks was to drive around the Seals. I’ve read some people’s comments on social media that seem to think he’s claiming to be a Seal. Um, no. There are support personnel for the Seals. They don’t drive their own bus to training sessions you know. Norfolk is the home of Seal Team 6.

I have family in the Navy; I am by no means an expert. I DO know that a surprising number of “other branch” installations have Navy stationed there. My family member was even installed as a commander of his unit (well, whatever is larger than a unit – platoon? Or is that strictly an Army term?) and they were at an Army base.

The Kosovo claim checks out time wise.

I just don’t think Jax is smart enough to dig up the Roosevelt details or know that Norfolk is where some of the Seal Teams are.

Agreed. The way it’s all worded makes it sound legit (I have a Navy family, was an Army wife). There are loads of reasons he may have left or gotten kicked out before his contract was done. He has a temper and likes to fight, so he could have been a problem there, could have dropped hot, could have a medical issue, could have a vision issue – the list goes on and on. I do believe he was in the Navy and it’s not something I recall hearing him brag about, just maybe mentioned in passing, so I tend to believe (and I can’t believe I’m saying this about him!) that this may be one thing he actually feels it would be wrong to lie about. I’m off to check my temp now…..

He mentioned his father being particularly proud of him for it, so that would make it extra sensitive. He hasn’t bragged about it at all, so not sure why someone would go with the “stolen valor” accusation.

And yes on the thousand reasons to get out early (if he did). This was PRE 9-11, pre Afghanistan, Iraq, War on Terror. The need to retain people wasn’t as high then, frankly, so probably easier to get out than it would be now.

Oh… and thank you to both your husband and you (military spouses are unsung American heroes, IMHO!)

In the South it is called “twot”…never heard twAt b4. Jus sayn’. You can be in the Navy for two years and I happen to believe Jax. Besides who cares? What’s the big deal? He is smart enough to know this can be easily traced and I don’t think anyone should have to prove they served their country.
Also to most people’s dismay I feel sorry for James. Lala should apologize to the entire cast with the exception of Stassi about her actions. Stassi is just a dead head that has zero story and I did not like her when I first saw her on the show and I dislike her more now if that is entirely possible. I put her in the same boat as Kristen & Katy. It would absolutely thrill me if Tom would tell Katy to STFU about James and leave her fat ass with her mouth hanging open.

I’m English so literally never heard it pronounced that way until Lala! You learn something new every day.

I have a lot of hatred for calculating Katie and as much as James is awful, I think he’s a bit broken. His childhood seems horrible and his parents are horrendous, that doesn’t excuse his behaviour but he just doesn’t have the tools to manage himself and craves validation and to be included, and wants that from this raggedy bunch for some self destructive reason. What Sandoval said last week is true, they’ve all done things, often as bad James but he faces consequences where others don’t.

I like stassi these days, mostly just for her proximity to Beau who is a dream, and I might even go as far as to say he’s the cast member with the most about them. Kristen has far too high an opinion of herself, she’s overly familiar with Lisa who clearly can’t stand her.

I dug this up on another site, don’t know if its legit, but, the DoD letter shows that he served in the Navy from January, 1999 to July, 1999. Navy boot camp is 8 weeks now, that takes us into March. Lets say he goes from there to “A School” ( technical school), in Texas. Tech school can last up to two years but, lets just say he is there for another month, so , end of April. That gives old Jax two and a half months to allegedly deploy to Kosovo AND to drive Navy Seals around Norfolk AND to somehow get out of his minimum of two year commitment. His DD214 would show why he left / was dismissed, he will never show it: https://thisainthell.us/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/cauchi-dodmanpower-redacted.jpg

Documents show JAX received a general discharge. Not exactly something to be proud of, but, we are talking about Jax Taylor here. A general discharge is defined as follows: The definition of a general discharge follows: A General military discharge is a form of administrative discharge. If a service member’s performance is satisfactory but the individual failed to meet all expectations of conduct for military members, the discharge is considered a General Discharge, Under Honorable Conditions. To receive a General Discharge from the military there has to be some form of nonjudicial punishment to correct unacceptable military behavior or failure to meet military standards. The discharging officer must give the reason for the discharge in writing, and the military member must sign paperwork stating they understand the reason for their discharge. Veterans may not be eligible for certain veterans benefits under a General Discharge, including the GI Bill.

I don’t think my cousin did – and he served in Vietnam. I’ll have to ask if my dad has his.

Because my cousin was “support” he had to be convinced to go to the VA (he was suffering from Agent Orange exposure… he didn’t realize that all his seemingly unrelated health issues were because of that. A sharp eyed nurse with military experience herself caught it) He felt that the benefits were more for the guys that experienced combat.

I also haven’t had an SS card in decades 🙂

Oh, I wasn’t defending him per se – just saying that some of his shit checked out. I recognized the names of the ship and that where he was had Navy Seals there.

I haven’t read every comment and I never served in the Navy but 6 months is a short stint. He F’upped in a major way somehow. My guess would be failure to pass his advanced training. Guessing he made it through basic, then struggled with advanced training, in my experience, they let you recycle through training if you need more time. We all had all kinds of crazy assignments during training, it’s all part of the indoctrination. He wasn’t dishonorably discharged. I get why he never came forward with this info, he’s embarrassed. This one thing I’ll give Jax a little credit for, at least he tried.

As a veteran, the one piece of paper you never lose is your DD-214. All of your benefits cannot be accessed without it, including a military burial. A general discharge is frequently given for lying during recruitment and the 6-month time frame fits how long it may take for something to come to light.
