Once More With Feeling, Joe Giudice Is Getting Deported

March 13, 2019 by tamaratattles 103 Comments

UPDATE!

April 6,2019 Joe Giudice’s appeal of the immigration judge’s decision to deport was denied by  the Board of Immigration Appeals. This is the highest level of the immigration process. This is about ten miles past where normal people lay down and go home. But, Joe’s attorney’s have an idiot in Teresa Giudice who keeps on approving their billable hours. So, off we go to Federal court.Or maybe the attorneys are the idiots who think they will get paid. How much mattress money is there?

The final, final, final appeal is the Federal Circuit court of appeals. It’s ridiculous and leaves him in the deportation center for about six more months. But hey, it’s very expensive, so let’s do it!

Joe Giudice should be deported by the end of the year.

Joe Giudice Deportation
Is it me or are we in hot water? It’s fine Joe, just smile, smile, smile!

Then, I told you Joe Giudice was going to get deported before he even began his first prison sentence in 2016.

That means ICE will come and pick him up and take him to a deportation center.

Then I told you again in 2017.

Teresa hired her divorce attorney in January of 2018

Then I reminded you again in June of 2018

In October of 2018 Teresa’s creepy lawyer swore up and down Teresa was not divorcing Joe

A few days later, Joe had another court date that didn’t change a thing that was breaking news AGAIN

The flurry of sites posting about Joe’s deportment began again. Teresa was SHOCKED! LOL.

Jailbird JuicyMarch 2019 Joe Giudice Goes To ICE Deportation Center

This brings us to today. Joe is probably going to be picked up by ICE any day now and taken to the deportation center. So many sites are posting BREAKING NEWS! JOE GIUDICE IS GOING TO GO STRAIGHT TO A DEPORTATION CENTER!

You don’t say…

Detention centers are absolutely the worst place to be locked up in the US. They don’t have to comply with prison guidelines. So, diseases go untreated. Sometimes, people contract MERSA in some centers. It is not a pleasant experience. So, this is why Joe’s attorneys fought to start the deportation appeals process right away. The cases are backlogged for years. You rarely if ever win. As I have said many times his attorney are just hopping to get him to Italy faster. Until then, he could rot in a detention center for a couple of years. Perhaps longer than his actual sentence.

Just a reminder before everyone goes crazy with more BREAKING NEWS tomorrow. This is not news to me, my readers or Teresa Giudice.

Tre was pretty clear that neither she nor her children would be leaving the country with him. It would not surprise me if in a couple of years the girls end up living in Italy at some point. Tre has moved on. She still has her Dad to care for, but the girls are getting old enough to take that over. Joe has no interest in taking care of a father that openly favored his brother in law over him. I can not blame him, Very sad situation, but it has been coming since season one, unfortunately, The stupidity here is ridiculous. I grew up with so many Italian friends and neighbors. Devout, hard working, family oriented, community minded folks. Joe is an embarrassment to his nationality, his family, and his country. I am glad that the government has an easy way to throw him out.

As a taxpayer I say put his ass on a plane and send him to Italy immediately. If they want to make him finish sentence and day of release , release in Italy . It is bullshit to make us to continue to pay for his room and board for years to come. This should not be that hard , but clearly our govt likes to spend more on everything than they need to .

I’m not a fan of this show but it was the first place I went while escaping the news. Kim was talking to her mom and her brother and she must have said the word literally about five times in one sentence. I’m not sure whether even one of the instances was used correctly let alone all five. I don’t know how people watch this show

BTW, I have no problem with Joe being deported. He is a liar & a cheat. I only wish he were taking his whiny, idiot wife with him. I’m so sick of her

Don’t you need a birth certificate and proof of residency with the application? I wonder if he just used his brother’s identity. It wouldn’t be the first time. Remember the drunk driving incident?

If you are here legally – and I have no idea if Joe is a “dreamer” type or has a legit green card – you can still travel. He’d just have an Italian passport. But he might not know that, and probably just used his brother’s.

Joe was brought here legally and had permanent residency, it doesn’t expire until an immigration judge revokes it (his felonies would have been grounds to revoke). So he was allowed to travel. But he would have had to show proof of being a permanent resident (usually that’s what your green card is for) to get back in. Having an Italian passport would not have been sufficient for him to enter the country, he either needed a ‘borrowed’ US passport or his green card.

There has never been any evidence he HAD a green card. His parents according to HIM didn’t do any paperwork on him as a baby. He claimed to have just found that out and “always thought he was a citizen” despite, you know, using his brother’s ID/passport.

His parents and brother could not have become citizens unless they were permanent residents, and they could not have become permanent residents if they had entered or stayed illegally. If the parents were permanent residents at any point before he turned 18, then he became one by default. I was a permanent resident for 5 years before becoming a citizen. I had to list my nationality and provide evidence of my status so many times during that 5 years. There’s no way he never knew in 35+ years. He would not have even had a social security number if he was brought here without ANY paperwork. There’s never been any mention of him using a stolen SSN throughout any of his cases.

Can you fight a previous deportation from another country to try and come back? Even if you can’t why fight the enevitable?

The are still more “fights” aka appeals. The appeals will be denied. It’s just a time-consuming process with more money for the lawyers. In this case I love this because Teresa is paying. Or supposed to be paying.

He is being deported..eventually. On ICE’s time schedule. He will never be back to the US even to visit. He’s done.

And why would Italy want the family too? I admit I know nothing about Italy’s policies. I know they are screwed. I feel bad for their kids and for so many reasons. Hopefully what doesn’t kill them will make them stronger and hopefully they will learn to do the right thing despite their parents behavior.

There is a lot of contradictory information on that. All that matters is his is not a US citizen. Something one of his lawyers said was interpreted by most that the had a green card. I didn’t interpret it that way. It makes no sense he would have applied for a green card but not citizenship. The are both a lot of paperwork. I tend to believe he did neither and just borrowed his brothers when need be.

TT the way I understand it is that Joe’s parents brought him in to the United States with a green card. Many families apply for green cards, and they do so from their hone countries. This route takes a very long time but it is very common for families that immigrate to do that. He has apparently had a green card his entire life. I have several family members who have had green cards fir decades. They don’t apply for citizenship because they don’t feel the need to because with a green card they have the same rights as with the citizenship. Joe’s problem is he committed major crimes while not actually being of full citizen. If he had absolutely no legal status, he would never have been able to apply for the loans that he did (that got him in trouble) or leave the country for the Bravo cast trips.

The green card would have been applied for by his parents when he was a child and just carried over when he became an adult. The status never expires, you only have to apply for a new physical card every 10 years. My immigrant kid automatically became a citizen when we did, because she was under 18, so I’m guessing Joe’s parents did it after he had turned 18. Citizenship isn’t that much paperwork, but you have to actually study for the test and it’s expensive. Plus if you have a record, there’s always the chance that they’ll not only reject your citizenship but also revoke your PR status, so people like Joe decide it’s better to not rock the boat.

Just because you are married to an American citizen doesn’t mean that you are guaranteed citizenship or are eligible to apply. If, and only if, Joe already had a green card, he would have had to apply like everybody else by filling out his citizenship application, taking the test, passing it, and successfully completing the immigration interview by an ICE agent. Then you are granted citizenship. It is not as easy as people make it seem.

Yes not only no graduations or weddings, but God forbid any of the children are ever sick, injured, or worse, he cannot return. There was a situation of that nature recently when a kidnapped young girl from NC (I think) was found raped and murdered. For whatever reason (I do not remember the specifics) her father could not come for his daughter’s funeral. I believe he was in Mexico. As I read that story Joe Giudice and his children came to mind.

I think Teresa enjoys these stories because it keeps her relevant. I also am annoyed we have another season being filmed right now, just because Bravo wants Teresa’s reaction to Joe leaving prison to go to Ice. Enough of criminals receiving more air time for bad behaviour. I wish Tre would stay home, and get her kids into therapy to deal with their feelings on their dad’s deportation. I also believe the kids still think Joe and Tre are innocent because Tre thinks she did nothing wrong.

The problem started with his parents. He was brought here as a child and the process to become a citizen when you are a child is much simpler than when you are an adult. My brother was adopted from Korea. He joined our family when he was only 14 months old. My parents immediately started the citizenship paperwork as soon as his adoption was final, he was about 2 by then. It took awhile and thankfully their lawyer took care of most of the paperwork but I vividly remember going to court to have my brother sworn in as a US Citizen, and I was like 8 or 9 at the time.

IF he is deported what real punishment did he get? So he got three hots and a cot for 41 months? He was away from his family, yes I know that’s hard on the kids but he also got a break from any payment or aggravation from family or media. Did he pay back anything? Teresa paid back what was required by the courts, yeah I know not enough, and still has to pay. All these vacations, parties and clothes are comps from others or Bravo. She OWNS nothing at this stage and pretty much never will no matter how its spun.

Joe goes to Italy and pretty much gets off Scott free! He isn’t required to work or make any effort to pay back anything? Is Teresa then stuck with paying his lawyer fees? How the hell is that going to work when again she has really nothing other than Bravo money.

I think he should be allowed to stay with the condition he has to actually work and make some kind of payment back. Sure he’ll never be able to pay it off but its the principle of the thing. Why should he not be required to pay anything?

I still believe that even if he does stay Teresa is done with it and him. She’s had too many months of being by herself not to see the benefit of actually being by herself. She’s no angel, certainly not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I don’t think she’ll ever go back to “old school”. The way she said “I’m sure he’ll have women.” (or something like that) was the closest I ever heard her pretty much admit that he’s had them all along so what’s the big deal now.

Let him stay, make him work at whatever, attach his earning even if its old $20.00 a week for the rest of his freaking life.

I didn’t read this. Your opinions don’t matter. This country operates on laws not a show of hands from the reality show community. He is going to be deported.

Not only was it all the fraud charges. There was a story about him and some of the hurricane Sandy victims. He would allegedly go around and give people estimates, start the job take their money and not come back to finish the work! That’s pretty shitty if it’s true. SMH

This is true. He did it a lot in one particular town made up of lower income families. He would take their insurance checks and do shoddy and incomplete work. He plastered flyers for his services all over the area but people didn’t know he was connected to the show, he used a different name. This was a lot of money for some people and they never were able to get the work fixed. It was very sad.

I must be the only person with an iota of sympathy for Joe (NOT Theresa) and the children.

The fact that Joe is being transported to a deportation center does not automatically mean he is being deported. This is standard operating procedure when a deportable person leaves jail. He is entitled to the full panoply of appeals but must stay there during the appeal process.

I have seen people with worse criminal records win their appeals and not be deported on, among other grounds, their family connections here in the US.. That doesn’t mean Joe will win his appeal, it merely means that his deportation is not guaranteed at this point.

That was before the crackdown of the past and present administrations. He is too high profile to stay. His appeals will go nowhere.

I think Joe is probably a decent guy, but he thought he could scam his way through life.

He’s NOT a “decent guy”. He defrauded people of millions and millions of dollars. His contracting business ripped many low income families off in New Jersey, he’s a slum landlord in Patterson (where Both Tre & Joe are from). He owns apartment buildings and would rather pay fines than heat them properly. One apartment building didn’t even have a front door in the middle of winter. They’re scuzzy people. Let’s not pussy foot around it, “trying to be fair”. They treated other people like shit. I think it sucks Teresa was allowed to keep the house but didn’t pay the millions she owed to people (Including the fertility Dr who brought Audriana into the world- nice).

If he doesn’t want to stay at a deportation center, can he just stop appealing and buy himself a ticket right away to go, or does he have to wait until ICE sends him over? If he agreed to go ASAP, would ICE send him or would he still have to wait a long one for everything to be processed?

You can do voluntary deportation. I think that it’s part of the reason why the conditions are so bad in the holding jails, to try and break you down into agreeing.

This if false. If you are convicted of aggravated felonies you are not eligible for voluntary deportation. Voluntary deportation is rare and is generally for people who have overstayed their visas, have not committed crimes, and have been here illegally for less than a year,

All of these WHAT IFs are ridiculous.

Joe Giudice will do lots of time in an ICE deportation center. Once he is issued a removal order by a judge, they still have 90 days to deport him.

Goodbye one Felon by Bravo! Too bad we cannot deport more felons by Bravo to get them out of the country and off of our television screens! My sympathies go out to all the people ripped off by the Guidices who will never recover their money. Tre’s victim card is all played out. When will fools stop funding her lifestyle? The only sympathy I have is for the 4 children who don’t deserve the fate that awaits them. I hope outsiders have intervened in their lives – teachers, guidance counselors, perhaps the Gorgas(?) to teach them some life lessons and decision making skills because God Knows Tre & Joe did not equip them for the life that lies before them! Children are innocent bystanders and please remember that when they make ridiculous posts on social media- they know not what they say- as they have been raised by delusional lying liars. It’s a pity.

Let’s face it I watched season 1 where Theresa was throwing around her huge wad of cash and buying everything in sight. I am sure she was completely behind everything so she can pretend to have an extravagant lifestyle. She is as guilty as he is and the only difference is citizenship.

Very sad for the children. I know my Father would not have known to go through citizenship as my Grandparents were not very educated, migrated from Italy and barely spoke English but survived as my Grandpa Vito ran an Italian fruits and vegetable store in downtown LA.

I wonder if, while he’s closed up in his cell in the detention center, Joe Giudice ever thinks about everything he and Teresa did, and asks himself this question. Was it worth it?

When his parents and other family members became citizens, and he was too lazy to follow in their footsteps, and he used his brother’s identity to misrepresent himself when he got in trouble, did he ever wish he had taken the time to do what was necessary and guarantee his right to be here? Or, did he thumb his nose at the system and basically send a big “f**k you” to everyone, like me, who applied for citizenship and did things properly? Was it worth it, Joe?

When he was filling out fraudulent loan applications for millions of dollars, lying about income, and generally misrepresenting himself, with the explicit participation of his wife, did he really think he would get away with it? Does he ever think that perhaps living a little more modestly, and being honest, would have brought him just as much happiness? Was it worth it, Joe?

While he was living high on the hog, at the expense of people who trusted him, did his conscience prick him, even the tiniest bit? Did he think about the victims of Superstorm Sandy he defrauded, many of whom had lost almost everything, and feel badly for them? Did he sleep well at night, in his McMansion, while they worried how on earth they were going to move forward? Was it worth it, Joe?

When the you-know-what hit the fan, as it usually does, and he knew their crimes had been discovered, did he even have a clue that everything would lead to the loss of his family, shame for his parents, heartbreak for his children, and, ultimately, the loss of the right to live in, or ever return to, the only country he had ever known? Was it worth it, Joe?

When they both got sentenced to prison, sorry “camp”, and Teresa was torn away from her parents and her girls for a full year, did he regret breaking the law? When she came home and he almost immediately had to leave, did he wish he had never taken the first step towards a life of deceit and lies? Did he listen to his girls crying and feel bad about leaving them? Was it worth it, Joe?

Now that he’s reaping the fruit of his actions, is he accepting any culpability for what they did? Teresa certainly has never done anything but make excuses and deny that they broke the law. Has he ever felt bad for his victims, not just for himself for getting caught? It doesn’t seem as though he has. I fully support his deportation. He screwed over the country, and people who had welcomed him here for his entire life, and needs to accept the punishment that’s being doled out to him. Was it worth it, Joe?

Even if the could go to the detention center, and they can’t, they likely wouldn’t. A deportation center is not like a federal prison, or even a jail. It’s closer to a POW camp sort of environment. It’s not conducive to visitation. For all intents and purposes he is already gone.

I get that Joe’s daughters will miss him when he is deported but their pleas to Trump are ridiculous. Gia is 18 years old and in one of her recent social media posts she asks Trump to help keep her father in the US. She claims she voted for Trump. How is that possible? I’m no math genius but the numbers just don’t add up. I’m totally for keeping families together and to give honest hard working people the opportunity to live in our amazing country. However, from what I’ve heard about Joe’s situation, he has done nothing but cheat, scam and deceive the American system. The same system that he is now asking to help him.
Unfortunately the ones paying the biggest price are his kids. I was hoping that the kids would have learned something from this entire ordeal but it seems that like their parents sense of entitlement has been passed to them. I do understand Gia’s actions cause I would fight for my dad also if I felt he was wronged.

No loss to America. The only people winning here are lawyers w/all the billable hours. I feel for their kids but have no sympathy for con artists, foreign or otherwise. If we can put that on another country and out of ours, one less criminal.

IMHO Porsha Williams has more brainpower than the Guidice’s combined. How are they pronouncing it these days?

I want Teresa and the whole damn brood to follow him to Italy but Teresa will never do that. It would be the best thing that ever happened to the kids. Can they at least send the one girl who is normal and um, well, doesn’t seem to have much in common with Joe?
