UPDATE: Apparently, Peter Thomas had an attorney pay the four thousand dollars for the bounced check and he will be released as soon as the paperwork clears.
In case you missed it, Peter Thomas was arrested in Miami last Friday . He was at Miami International Airport re-enterjng the country after a business trip to Jamaica. Peter was in Jamaica to discuss holding a symposium for men about how to succeed in business and life.
According to the Miami-Dade Website, Peter Thomas remains incarcerated at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center without bond. He has spent four nights in jail thus far.
Peter’s release is dependent on Louisiana law enforcement taking a pause from their Mardi Gras celebrations to make a decision regarding extradition. Technically they have 30 days to respond. However, a good lawyer in Louisiana could speed that up. The problem is, ain’t nobody in Louisiana worrying about getting Peter Thomas put of jail right now.
Laissez les bon temps rouler!
So Peter may have a few more nights in jail to write his speeches on how to be a great guy like him for his Jamaican Symposium 2020. Chapter One: Don’t Write Checks Your Ass Can’t Cash…
Just for fun, why not look back at the crazy rules Peter Thomas had for Bar One when it first opened in Atlanta. I promise you it is a fascinating read from 2012.
