Another episode of Teen Mom 2 airs tonight and I still haven’t had a chance to watch this one. Every have one of those super busy weeks when you feel like you are working your butt off and nothing really seems to get done? That was last week. Thank God it’s Monday and we all get another chance to be productive.
We check in with Cole and Chelsea and the new baby. They were only in the hospital for two hours before the baby arrived. Cole actually delivered the baby. Watson is not into the baby at all, he just ignores her. Clearly, he was downloaded with the big brother manual In utero. Later, Watson cries for the entire drive to pick up Aubree from school. Then his baby sister gets in on the action. Watson is getting tubes getting surgery to have tubes put in his ears the next day. Poor, thing. Cole and Chelsea are nervous about the surgery. Cole in particular. Chelsea lets Cole be the person who goes back to be with Watson when he was put under. That was a mistake. Cole’s a mess. Watson seems fine.
Lincoln‘s soccer game continues to have Kail’s full assortment of “baby daddies” and Javi’s new “baby momma.” Once again, Kail doesn’t acknowledge that the latest person Javi has knocked up exists .Kail informs her kids that she has a sister and that they are going to have a cousin. Later, Kail goes to get her hair done and talks about Kail’s girlfriend, Lauren, having a baby. She seems quite bent about the entire situation. She doesn’t speak to Lauren at all.
“Global Warming” Rant: Or As I Call It, Mother Earth’s Menopause
What tickles me is all of these people shooting out babies left and right will be on the frontlines of “global warming” rallies weeping for their children’s futures. You know what the big causes of global warming are? Breathing and cars. Since we sort of need to breathe, we might want to consider not having tons of kids to add to the problem.
Then there is the other biggie. Car emissions. It seems that every human in this country needs a car to drive when they are 16 years old. Somehow, just a few decades ago entire families survived with just a station wagon. Since we are clearly going to ignore these major causes of global warming, there is really no point in all of these ridiculous green bills that do nothing to make any meaningful impact on the inevitable. Because, all living things die. Our planet is a living thing. This is not rocket science.
Sorry. It’s just both maddening and hysterical to me that people don’t understand basic science we teach first graders. There are no anti-aging solutions for the planet. I’ll shut up now and let y’all get back to making your signs. It’s only 56 days until Earth Day!
Production goes to see Barbara. It’s been two weeks since the soccer game fiasco where they had to shut down filming because David came to disrupt filming. Jenelle has told Barbara that it is very stressful to try to film her life without David at filming. It’s very stressful to sort of lead one life for the cameras and then go home to her real life. It seems clear David doesn’t want her filming because he was fired. She still wants to do the show, because she would like to be able to still have a job. It’s a lot to deal with. Barb says as long as she can keep getting along with Jenelle, they should be okay to film with the kids.
Barbara and Jenelle take Jace to the park. It’s a cold winter day and no one is there. Jenelle tells the producer that the show keeps giving her a bad rap. It’s not the show Jenelle. You’re not exactly a Leave It To Beaver family on your Instastories. Jenelle wants some “fucking respect!” She’s on bizarre profanity laced rant. I use a lot more profanity on this site when I am enjoying a few glasses of wine. I’m just saying. He fans don’t know anything about her! They don’t even know her favorite food anymore! What the fuck?
I think her favorite food today might have been Adderall. This will probably he her last season, she says for the millionth time. She doesn’t need MTV! The people who know her in real life like her! I should point out that before that she listed Nathan and her former best friend as people she doesn’t talk to anymore. We never see her filming with anyone for more than an episode or two and then they disappear. Barbara just sits there sort of nodding. And SCENE.
Brianna’s youngest child, Stella was recently rushed to the hospital where she was diagnosed with a serious bacterial infection in her shoulder. She had emergency surgery to address the problem. She is currently recovering in the hospital. With her sister on vacation, Brianna and her mom are struggling to take care of the kids. Nova seems depressed. I think they are giving her way too much information.
Brianna’s mom goes with Stella to visit Devoin. Devoin seems like he is doing great. He has a nice apartment with a roommate and is working lots of hours to pay for it.
Jeremy is back in town and spending time with his daughter for a short time. He is getting ready to leave for another six-week job. Leah’s children are obsessed with Wal-Mart. Addie has a hard time when he is out-of-town working. Leah’s boyfriend needs to keep his mouth shut about Jeremy. They live in West Virginia. There are not good paying jobs everywhere. The pipeline job isn’t going to be available forever. Fathers have to leave to go to work all the time.
This was not the most exciting episode. It really is the Jenelle show. I do like the Chelsea scenes though. I need some less depressing storylines.
