It all comes down to this. The next two hours will determine the season two winner of Celebrity Big Brother. It’s been a wild ride this season. We got the unexpected when the house started eliminating all the men on the show one by one and not once did the men unite to stop the bleeding. On the other hand, we had one of the most unpleasant common themes of Big Brother when a group of Bible thumpers declared themselves “the good people” while exhibiting the most hateful behavior in the house. In the traditional summer games we see this dynamic often. It always makes the season seem a bit unappealing. The God Squad bands together and hurls derogatory attacks on those who are not part of the group. If somehow Kandi Burruss or the completely clueless Dina Lohan manage to pull of an upset, I will be the first to scream, “Won’t He do it?”
The Penultimate HOH Challenge
I stupidly stayed up all night on the computer and didn’t sleep much until just now so I am half asleep for this recap. I am drinking my coffee and read to go, though. The cute little clips just before the show starts have been Tom Green pretty much all season and tonight is no different. “Would you like a sandwich Natalie? We have sandwiches if you’d like a sandwich.” Tom Green was simply a delight on this season of Celebrity Big Brother.
Ricky Williams wins the puzzle challenge. Dina Lohan has no idea how the competition works is kind of hysterical. It was nice of Ricky to get out of bed for both the competition and the nomination ceremony. It was no surprise that Kandi Burruss and Dina Lohan went on the block. Dina thinks that she and Kandi were nominated because they are the best players. She is serious. And seriously, deluded.
The Veto Challenge And Ceremony
The final veto requires the house guests to climb through a series of laser lights without touching them to steal four items from the Big Brother Museum without tripping the laser security system and getting eliminated. The house guest with the fastest time wins the final power of veto. I can’t wait to watch Dina Lohan fail miserably at this challenge. It’s really all we have to look forward to this episode other than America’s Favorite House Guest.
Ricky is so bad at the diary room. I don’t know why we are getting so much of it for this challenge. Dina Lohan, Tamar Braxton and Kandi Burruss are the only ones left who give good diary room. Dina is predictably terrible at this challenge. Kandi’s big booty had her at a huge disadvantage with the lasers, but she did a decent job. It just wasn’t good enough. Lolo Jones wins the final veto. The masterminds, Lolo Jones and Ricky Williams discuss the options. Tamar tried to convince them to keep Kandi. Lolo chose not to use the veto.
This segment was a waste of valuable time. The only thing I learned from this is that the audience likes Tamar Braxton. If she wins America’s Favorite House Guest I will be gutted. Tom Green winning that is the only good outcome that can happen on this show at this point. The Mooch moving into the house for six days served no purpose whatsoever.
The Penultimate Vote
Of course Kandi Burruss is emotional in her speech. Dina Lohan is a bit emotional with her speech also. Lolo voted to evict Kandi. Tamar voted to evict Dina to insure Kandi as her jury vote. She may be the only one she gets if she makes it to final two. Ricky chose to send Kandi out to meet Julie. The audience gasps and says, “No!” The crows goes wild when Kandi walks out.
Kandi looks amazing. She has lost a lot of weight. Kandi has no hard feelings. She is so glad she and Tamar are friends again. She is beaming at her family in the audience.
The Final HOH
All four remaining house guest compete in the Celebrity Lookalike Junior Challenge. In this challenge a child dressed as one of the house guests will come out and read three statements. One of the statements will be false. You can see how much Tamar wants this.
The kids are adorable. First, Tom Green and he was so cute I couldn’t focus on the question. Kandi would have been great at this. Then, Tamar tied the game. In the end, RIcky won because Tamar really boffed it on the tiebreaker. WON’T HE DO IT?!
Please let Ricky take Dina and lose. At the ceremony, all three girls give speeches lauding Ricky’s praises. Only Lolo says they have been a team all season and directly asks for him to choose her.
And he does. WOW! In a shocking but smart move, he choses to drag Tamar to the end presuming no one will vote for her. Did he make the right choice? I think he would have won either way but he did just choose someone to get an extra $50,000. That will pay of lot of divorce attorney bills for Tamar.
The Jury Vote
Tamar is sobbing. I bet Lolo and Dina vote for Tamar. The good news is that Lolo Jones regrets fucking over Tom Green. Lolo is pissed and says their friendship may be over. Dina Lohan is just happy to be there. She made eleven friends. Lolo thinks Ricky will lose the game. I think Kandi will vote for Tamar. Natalie might choose Tamar.
Tom points out he tried to get Ricky out since the first week. He will probably vote for Ricky. The five guys may all vote for Ricky and he would win,
The Jury Questions
Tom Green asks Ricky Williams, ” What do you think was your biggest game move?” I love this question because he didn’t have any big moves, unless napping and sitting were considered his game moves. He said it was not freaking out on the block. Tom will probably vote for Tamar. She should win out of these two because she played a better game.
Tamar Braxton gave the best answer, it is true and it strokes Tomato’s ego. She says gunning to get them out of the house was her biggest move because she knew she could not beat either one of them. Again, I now think they should vote for her to win.
Ricky’s biggest regret was not winning slaughterhouse. Tamar’s biggest regret was getting too emotional. Tamar Braxton is rocking this.
At first Tamar’s speech was great. She talked about losing her job, her marriage, her house and stayed strong. But then she said something about promising herself that through it all she would always be kind. I am waiting for the lightning bolt.
Ricky apologizes to them all for pissing them off. Ricky says he has tried to be himself the whole time in the house. He did a really good job on the speech. It was better than Tamar’s but was that enough? Tamar needs to get some of the guys votes to win.
Tamar is still crying on the block as the jurors discuss what they saw on TV. Jonathan says he was surprised that everyone thought he was a threat. There are bromances blossoming everywhere.
Tom Green talked about how stressful the house was and how he was stressed when he left until he got online and saw all the love and that really made him feel good. YAY! We love you Tom Green! Kato is so glad that people got to know him as more than a soundbite. Natalie reveals the Tamar had the Power of the Publicist.
Votes for Tamar: Jonathan, Ryan, Joey, Kato, Natalie, …. SHE WINS! I am shocked at how happy I am for her. Her son comes running up on stage. Tamar won all the votes. The only other unanimous vote was for ever was for Dan Gheesling in season ten.
TOM GREEN! WINS AMERICA’S FAVORITE!
