It’s time! It’s time! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season première is upon us and I have never been so excited. Okay, now I am even more excited, they started with flashbacks of the Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd screaming at Kyle Richards! This is incredible! Lisa Vanderpump had Kyle Richards backing up and Ken Todd was all up in her face screaming! Lisa Vanderpump yelled, “Get the fuck out of my house!” I love this season so much already! The true Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd are shown in the very first minute! I love this new shady production team!
Two Months Earlier
Erika Jayne
Ah very interesting. Erika Jayne is waking up alone in her bed. I wonder if we will see her actually living in the “clubhouse” this season rather than pretending it is her office? Okay, I lied, she is totally filming in the house. Dorit Kemsley shows up to film with her. UGH. What has happened to Erika Jayne? Why would she film with Dorit? Dorit says her house was robbed. Is she sure that it wasn’t the repo man? Kidding. I think the guy they caught that TMZ was found with some of her things. I’m still not sure I believe it though, for many reasons. Erika says they have been robbed five times. WTF? Can they not be bothered to install decent security?Dorit says she has had a spiritual awakening. Sigh.
Teddi Mellencamp
Teddi Mellencamp has moved into a new house five houses down from the old house because her husband has been stalking it for years. It has a better view. I am always shocked at how often people move. I’ve been preparing to move for about seven years now.
Lisa Rinna
Lisa Rinna takes Amelia and Delilah to goat yoga. This is freaking hysterical. How can you possibly do yoga with goats jumping on your back? Delilah wants to move back to LA I think NYC was a bit much for her.
Lisa Vanderpump
Lisa Vanderpump talks to Ken Todd about Giggy getting old and having health problems. He can’t fly on a plane anymore. Lisa Vanderpump does a confessional about her brother’s suicide. It’s been a month since his passing Actually, it’s been two and a half months since his passing.
Kyle Richards
Denise Richards comes to visit Kyle Richards (no relation) and they talk about Justin Bieber being in a boxing class they took recently. Apparently, they both fangirled out. Kyle has generalized anxiety disorder. Me too! I totally get it. Kyle and Teddi are BFFs now! They hang out when filming is not happening.
Vanderpump Dogs
Lisa Vanderpump’s Version of Events
Teddi Mellencamp takes her daughter to play with puppies at Vanderpump Dogs and two male employees pose for the camera holding dogs. Teddi is doing a bike ride event with the proceeds going to Vanderpump Dogs. Kyle Richards shows up to show support and Lisa Vanderpump jokes with her about copying her car since they both are driving Porshes.
Right away, we get in to the season scandal about Dorit Kemsley adopting a dog from Vanderpump Dogs. The dogs name is Lucy and she literally growls on camera; Apparently, this is the dog that Dorit returned to Vanderpump Dogs because it bit her kid. Despite the dog being in the guys arms for the entire scene, Lisa Vanderpump doesn’t want to talk about it. Of course she does, that is why it is one of only two dogs in the scene. And the kids are not holding it because it bites. Lisa Vanderpump says “1,000% I am not talking about it.”
Production cuts straight to Lisa Vanderpump talking about it. She says, Dorit Kemsley adopted a dog named Lucy (hence the episode title, Lucy, Lucy, Apple Juicy) from Vanderpump Dogs and it ended up in a shelter. She doesn’t mention that the dog bites. Lisa Vanderpump tells us she totally believes that Dorit gave the dog to a friend and not to a shelter. I do not believe that. I also do not believe that Lisa Vanderpump believes Dorit either. That is the reason that Lisa Vanderpump leaked the story to the tabloids. She is pissed that Dorit Kemsley has smeared the reputation of Vanderpump Dogs. This is what caused her to hide at home with her swans all season.
Dorit Kemsley’s Version of Events
Meanwhile, across town, Dorit Kemsley tells Erika Jayne her version of the dog story. Dorit says that the dog bit the kids a few times and took a big bite out of Paul Kemsley’s face, (photo provided by production) she decided that the dog was not a good fit for the family. I do believe the dog was a biter, it growled on camera during filming. Dorit says she gave the dog to someone with a beautiful home but somehow the dog ended up in a shelter. Dorit’s story about sending the dog to a beautiful home seemed like a lie to me.
Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump’s First Fight Of The Season
Back at Vanderpump Dogs, Lisa Vanderpump brings up the Daily Mail party at Tom Tom and acts like she was sad that Kyle Richards didn’t come. Clearly, Kyle is not going to go along with Lisa’s fake storylines this season. She points out that she wasn’t invited, it wasn’t Lisa Vanderpump’s party, and she had arrived back in town on a flight at 4 a.m. the day of the party. So this whole,”I was so sad you could not make it” crap is fake lines for the cameras that once again try to make Kyle Richards look like a bad friend. Kyle says she wants to be a bitch to her about a party she wasn’t even invited to but Dorit can drop off a dog at the shelter and Lisa Vanderpump is all like, “she didn’t mean it.”
Kyle says, “I’m not doing this again.”and storms out. Am I the only one that wants to slap the shit at the dramatic gay guy trying to be a part of this scene with his”Oh nooo” routine? So thristy.
Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump’s First Make-up Session Of The Season
Production plays a whole montage of Lisa Vanderpump not being a friend to Kyle in the past and always taking side shots at her. Teddi Mellencamp does a talking head about how Lisa Vanderpump likes to take stabs at Kyle Richards. She wonders if it is because she and Kyle are close. That is a lot of it yes. When Lisa takes on another newbie, she doesn’t like them being around Kyle. She did it with Taylor Armstrong, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Camille Grammer, and now Teddi Mellencamp. Back on camera, Lisa Vanderpump cries and hugs Kyle. Teddi says that Lisa Vanderpump is taking out her pain on Kyle. Kyle says she knows but it still hurts. Lisa Vanderpump finally has an emotional breakdown. She really needed to do that. It is nice to see her have feelings.
Lisa Rinna Has Some of the Girls Over For Margaritas
Denise Richards and Lisa Rinna are lifelong friends so she will be a great addition to the show. It’s always better when people are real friends and not Hollywood friends as Yolanda Hadid would say. I want a jalapeño cucumber margarita! But Denise and Rinna opt for straight tequila. Dorit Kemsley and Erica Jayne arrive. I already hate that these two are a pair this season. Did I mention that? Erika Jayne and Dorit meet Denise Richards for the first time. Erika Jayne is a fan. We see a lot of clips from Denise’s movies but my favorite clip was a movie that Rinna did with Charlie Sheen where he was licking her toes while she was on the phone. This is a good group.
Dorit Kemsley, Paul Kemsley, Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd Meet For A Sit Down
These two couples meet on neutral territory to discuss Vanderpump Dogs Gate 2018. Lisa Vanderpump is furious with them but since Paul Kemsley is intertwined with both Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Dodd from when they all lived in London, they are all very tentative around each other so that none of them will blow up their um… businesses… in London decades ago. I’m pretty sure Paul hasn’t filled Dorit in all those days. Paul’s T-shirt reminds me of that commercial with the young couple on a first day and he has a t-shirt that is “half-washed.” I am amazed that they let him in Crustacean.
Paul Kemsley randomly announces that he shaves his arms and his hands. This nauseates me as my mind goes to other places that Paul Kemsley might shave. Sorry for sharing. As it turns out, Dorit Kemsley didn’t know the woman she gave Lucy to. The woman came to her house because she wanted the dog. So much for the “she had a beautiful home” portion of the lie. Paul is very defensive even though Lisa Vanderpump stars by saying she knows that Dorit didn’t do anything with malice. These two are guilty as sin. Apparently, there is a $5,000 penalty in the adoption contract saying that they can’t give away the dog and must bring it back to Vanderpump Dogs if they are unable to care for it. Dorit doesn’t have $5,000. She probably doesn’t have fifty dollars.
Lisa Starts The Set Up
Meanwhile, Lisa Vanderpump begins to prepare Dorit for the information getting out by saying that John from Vanderpump Dogs got heated about Lucy ending up in a shelter and that people are talking about it. John is the guy that was in the scene and he is friends with Teddi so he told her about it. Is Lisa Vanderpump trying to set up Teddi Mellencamp to take the fall for the press getting the story? Dorit Kemsley points out that Lisa Vanderpump texted her about the dog situation and said she was fine about it. As Dorit points out, Lisa Vanderpump has an entirely different tone now.
Kyle’s Pool Party
I was starting to wonder if we would ever get to Kyle’s pool party. On WWHL, Teddi Mellencamp and Lisa Rinna said Kyle Richards had the best trips and parties of the year. I think that is true every year. For the love of God, where does one hire a charcuterie expert? I need this in my life! Why doesn’t Kyle Richards invite me to these parties? I would go even if I had to be on TV for that charcuterie board TABLE. Faye Resnick and Camille Grammer were invited.It is Denise’s husband, Aaron’s first filming and he looks less than thrilled about it. Everyone’s husbands and children are invited. It’s going to be a zoo.
Lisa Rinna’s fake eating amuses me. Nothing ever went in her mouth. I need this in slow motion. She licks a bite of hot dog and then shakes it off her fork and pretends to chew.

Teddi Mellencamp and Dorit Kemsley pretend to make nice. Dorit is terrified that Teddi is going to tell the world about her dog fiasco. Nice work there Lisa Vanderpump! Everything is going by your master plan. At least for now. Teddi jokes about Dorit unfollowing her on social media.
OMG! Flashbacks of Brandi Glanville’s boys are in order because Teddi’s boy has pulled down his pants and is standing at the edge of the pool peeing in it! So funny.

Charcuterie classes are the latest things in NYC. There start at $70. $70 to put salumi on a wooden board. i can figure it out myself.
I’d take a class if was affordable. The key is height and texture and knowing how to use what’s in your cabinets and pantry. Unfortunately I’m not that creative or either I don’t have the right types of things. I’m betting on the first! Maybe I should just Google it!

Charcuterie tables have been around Australia forever. Everytime I’m invited to a friends house, thats what we’re nibbling on. Its fantastic.

Dorit doesn’t have the capacity to think of anyone but herself. I for the life of me can’t figure out why, even if I was Hollywood friends with someone, why I wouldn’t bring the dog back. It is in the dog’s best interest. But then I remembered it’s Dorit and the only thing in her world is herself.

I don’t believe the dig but her spoiled son, maybe a little nip but I believe( seeing how he behaves on the show) he must have just irritated to death and it reacted. Her children are too young for a pet right now. I believe a child has to know right from wrong first, too young to have a puppy
It’s the 2 Nd dog Dorit got from VP dogs , so she knew. The scratches on PKs nose are little scratches. When my dog was a puppy I had a literal hole in my finger because we were playing & puppies have sharp teeth & nails.

A few things, first of all, that dog was not a good candidate for adoption into a family with young children. Second, Dorit should have returned the dog to LVP, third, Dorit told LVP the next day about rehoming the dog, why didn’t LVP check on the dog?

YAY! For being back! How did it take you so long to find you way home? I think Bravo might have paid her anyway. She and Ken filmed at the house from what I understand. I don’t really know how they could talk about much because they weren’t around the rest of the cast. I have a feeling John Sessa, aka loud gay guy holding Lucy will be a conduit between LVP and the others via his conversations with Teddi. You will be glad to see that most of the hospital updates and cat discussion are not longer taking over the site. The only thing that is still happening is ay mention of cancer on RHOA elicits tons of depressing cancer stories, so I suggest staying out of those comments. It’s become increasingly difficult to keep things from going there because Nene’s storyline this season is about how her husband is to busy with chemo and surgeries to carry her purse and do her bidding.

Granted I am in love with my dogs, cats & chickens, all for various reasons and their love for me is all for various reasons (and I am a car owner as well, need a new one btw, 2005 needs to go to my chicky, mommy needs a new car)…but I missed the cat ladies exodus and have no clue what happened where, why and when.
I’ve tried to research TT’s site but maybe everything is in the WLS re the cat lady drama. No matter for me, just love TT’s recaps, opinions, blinds and facts. I think back before I found this blog and I literally had no clue, I took a lot at face value and wrongly had opinions about our HW’s that I now know where untrue.
This season may really pull back the curtain on what really happens and why.

Knowing what we know about how LVP operates it’s is interesting watching her weave her web, poor Teddi. I still cannot stomach Dorit and PK, yuck, and he shaves his hand She and arms? That’s creepy, like why would a guy do that? Did anyone catch that Doritos accent left a few times when she was at Erika’s house and also at Rinnas? Rinnas girls are gorgeous, they have a totally different type of beauty than Yolanda’s girls. I think Rinnas are more beautiful though. Denise seems like she will be a great addition, I can’t wait to watch this all unfold. Kyles home is everything, I loved her last house also but this one is graceful to me, almost magical in a way. Oh I cannot wait for it to get really good!!!
I love Kyle’s and Teddi’s new homes! Both are gorgeous and look totally livable, with hired help of course! Teddi said hers was like 4500 sq ft and I know that I can barely do 3100 sq ft. The houses I stalk are usually 2500-3000 sq ft and single story because my torn up knee hates stairs. No clue how big Kyle’s house is, but I’m sure several of my house could fit inside. Regardless it’s gorgeous. I love her shorter hair so much too. She looks fabulous!

Goat yoga was an actual thing for people with more money than brains.
I did goat yoga in Houston with my bff, it was her bday present to me. I’m an animal lover, did little to no yoga, cuddled and petted several cute goats! Lol.
Me, too! It was a novelty. We had sweepers scooping up goat poop, goats gnawing on hair ties and climbing on people’s backs. A goat came over to me and tried to chew on my hair but I gave him the evil eye and he cantered off.
It was fun, but I wouldn’t do it again.

I volunteer with dog rescues. Every reputable rescue has a contract that the dog is returned to the rescue. When going over the contract that is stressed. Do not give it away to family or friends. So I can see why Lisa was pissed off. I would be too. That goes for biters or any problem the adopters have.
I agree! I don’t think Vander’s rescue placed the proper dog with Dorit in the first place so I wonder how experienced and professional those actually running the rescue aspect truly are. Clearly it wasn’t the best placement but I could tell that from the get go.
Contracts are written for a reason and that’s why you should always read them before signing. Whether you read them and understand the terms or not has nothing to do with it’s legality. You’re still legally responsible.
Most people who are not really “dog people” don’t understand appropriate dog
protocol. But common sense would dictate if a dog is a “biter” ( I don’t think this one is, fear aggression perhaps) you take the dog back to where you got it, not pawn it off on another person or just dump it at a shelter. Lisa deserved feedback as to what Dorit was seeing the dog do in her home. The dog deserved to be properly cared for.
A fearful dog shouldn’t be placed in a home that is not experienced at dealing with fear/aggressive puppies and shouldn’t be placed with undisciplined kids and parents. It was the inappropriate dog for them. There may not be an appropriate dog for them, don’t know.
That was not a bite on PK’s nose. I’ve had an actual chunk bitten by a puppy just in playing. Puppies have sharp teeth and if not trained they play bite hard. Got to train puppies and dogs!

Bethenney and Carole constantly chewing with their mouths hanging open is so gross. It’s classless and arrogant to think anybody wants to look at or hear what’s going on in your mouth when they eat. Were they raised by wolves?
Shep and Cameron from “Southern Charm” are also open mouth eaters. Gross me out!
I’m seeing LVP as a person suffering from grief. As for Lucy, I find it impossible to believe Dorit and her kids were a good match and frightened dogs bite. I don’t see the setup yet but the season is still young. Grief sucks and affects everyone differently, especially if it’s due to mental illness and estrangement. Kens statement of taking a month off and getting back to life isn’t particularly healthy.
Great first episode! When they first announced Denise joining the show I wasn’t excited at all, now I am. Dorit and PK are not people who should own a dog especially one with a possible behavioral issue. Dogs require training and not just from nannies. It would seem from their comments they gave the dog to a stranger…allegedly. In other news, I just found I do the dog version of goat yoga at home. It’s adorable and also annoying. And yes, goat yoga really is a thing here but, from what I’ve seen it’s a once a week special type thing. Anyway, I’m so excited BH is back!!

Tonight’s episode was disturbing. Lisa is grieving the death of her brother by suicide of all things. She is distraught and you can see the grief on her face. Shockingly, Kyle cuts Lisa no slack at all. She doesn’t try to console her and she clearly doesn’t recognize what Lisa must be going through emotionally. Lisa’s emotions seem to be up and down and all around. Instead Kyle focuses on herself and complains that Lisa unfairly cut Dorit a break even though she gave her adopted dog away to another person but claims Lisa never cuts her the same break. Geez, shouldn’t a friend be focusing 100% on the person who just lost a loved one?
Eileen and Rinna: *lose multiple family members including their parents and still get dragged mercilessly by LVP regardless of it*

Kyle isn’t being very supportive or understanding. Did you miss the part where Lisa starts crying and tells Kyle “I’m not doing well, I’ve been in England for 5 days at my brother’s funeral” and Kyle responds “I’m going through stuff too.”
BTW, Lisa wasn’t best friends with Eileen or Rinna (both whom I like), whereas Lisa and Kyle claim to be best friends.
Kyle is a friend to no one. I thinks she would turn on Bethany if she could get some attention from it. Bethany is smart. She seems to know how those Richards sisters operate and doesnt allow them to get any press time off of her.
I rewatched. Kyle was specifically responding to first Teddi saying that she’s lashing out at you because they are close, and Lisa kind of confirmed it with mentioning her brother.
And you know what – I agree with Kyle. Just because you lost someone so tragically doesn’t mean you get to take it out on people, especially ones you profess to love.
I once actually apologized to students. They needed to be reprimanded for some behaviors, but my reprimand/response to their inappropriate behaviors was over the top because my grandfather was imminently dying. They had nothing to do with it, and my reaction to their behaviors was too much.
Having someone die on you doesn’t mean you get to be an asshole.
Oh, you haven’t met my mom or her therapist? She went berserk on her entire family as she tried to manage her mother’s death. But she forgave herself because her doctor told her that she was grieving. No apologies necessary to the rest of us. ??♀️
In what alternate universe did Kyle and LVP ever claim to be bestfriends? LVP doesn’t have any friends off camera for a reason. Kyle and Faye are close friends and Kyle had many friends at her recent birthday party, She’s close with Kris Jenner and had several non TV friends there.
Kyle has many friends and TRIES to be Lisa’s friend but LVP doesn’t make it easy. I have empathy for LVP- losing a sibling that way is devastating, I am sure. But this is LVP’s job. I don’t know of anyone else who gets to show up to their job (or not show up) and act this way for months after a family member dies.
The Hiltons and the Kardashians have been friends for decades. Kathy’s kids grew up with the Kardashian girls LONG before the RHOBH of KUWTK Kris knew Kyles mother, for fucksake. Faye was Kris Jenner’s friend first and they are in the same age group Kyle is younger and has been around both of them growing up since the Kardashians and the Hiltons are family friends back at least a couple of generations. Kyle tends to stand by her friends of multiple decades and is loyal.

You know what, I’m going to PARTIALLY defend Lisa in this first episode when it comes to Dorit, because let’s be honest, Dorit has very little redeeming qualities as a character on this show. LVP has every right to be furious with her. The part where LVP is self-sabotaging is her strange desire to PUNISH her friends but do it in an incognito shady way. There was no reason to leak a story. Just call Dorit out and let her know how upset you are with her.
Going the extra mile to leak a story, set up someone else (Teddi) to take the blame just reiterates to the audience who shady and manipulative she is. All the while, she’s trying to remain squeaky clean. She needs to take a page from Rinna who is kind of an asshole too and JUST OWN IT!

Absolutely, Ange. Sometimes the grief from a broken relationship is much worse because the unresolved issues will never be repaired once someone dies. My grandpa tried to determine our love of our wonderful father when he died by how we grieved. It was so wrong. None of us can judge. As for suicide, the grief isn’t just from the death – it’s knowing that your loved one suffered that much and that long to want to get away from the pain.

Who is defending Dorit?
I don’t understand all of the hate for LVP. Maybe it’s because I’m British and can relate to how she acts more than the other, I know I sound like LVP here but we really do have a strange sense of humour in Britain very different to the US. I have also met ken when I was on my honeymoon in LA and can honestly say he is the most lovely man. It was at Pump and the restaurant was so busy and staff were asking him for things but he brushed them all off so he could speak to me and my husband at length. I do think LVP is struggling with grief you can see it on her face. No one expects to lose a sibling in life they’re supposed to be the family that stay with you forever after your parents have passed. I think people need to cut her more slack, I like Kyle as well but I think she’s over sensitive to things. It seems to me like every other season the group decides to gang up on LVP and it makes really unpleasant viewing.
It’s interesting that exercising basic common sense is considered “hate” by the LVP stans. Yes, Ken is very nice to the tourists in the restaurants. That’s his job. He is not so very nice to his employees though. You seem to think that American’s are not aware of what is and what is not British humor. LVP frequently takes digs at Kyle because she intentionally wants to hurt her. This “British humor” of hers only comes out when she is angry with Kyle, not during more pleasant settings.

Did you miss the season that Eileen Davidson has multiple close family members die in one season and managed to show up to do her job only to have LVP berate, belittle and insult her in every scene while Eileen was begging her for mercy? I wonder why the cast gangs up on her “every other season” I don’t know why they ever cut her any slack because that simply results in LVP being manipulative and petty again. My reading of that case is the harassment wasn’t against Ken but another employee at the restaurant, although I’m not excusing his other behaviour mentioned in the article if that really did happen. I’m also not sure about the aggressive behaviour towards Yolanda, i remember him touching her arm once in the season finale, I don’t class that as aggressive but there may be an incident I’ve forgotten. I don’t agree that Lisa is always having digs at Kyle I think she is sarcastic and teases everyone and that’s her personality, but that’s just my opinion. I remember well when Eileen’s mother and sister passed away and thought she dealt with it with great dignity. I don’t remember LVP insulting berating or belittling Eileen. Your reading is as flawed as your TV viewing Ken and Lisa were hit so hard for their culpability that it exceeded the limits of Villa Blanca’s insurance and the judge went on to find them both PERSONALLY liable due to the egergious nature of their,,,er,,, “British humor” and Ken destroyed evidence. I watched the reunion yesterday. When they were discussing how awful Dorit was about using the wrong glass LVP asked Dorit if she could now see how wrong she was considering the audience reaction. This is typical LVP. She relies on others, including her fans, to do her dirty work. She panders to the audience. She also gloated to Kyle about how she had just talked to Kathy Hilton the night before. Meanwhile, Kyle hadn’t hadn’t talked to her sister in 6 months. What a nice friend LVP is.

I don’t know why Ken said that about her grieving for a month and going back to work. She was on set of VPR two days after she returned for the funeral in early May. Also in May, Kyle was depressed about Sophia going off to college and was helping her pack for that. All while LVP was filming the other show. She was also finishing post production on American Woman. She was on a press tour from late May until the premeire and again afterward. The premier party was June 7 and LVP did not attend she did not call her a bad friend. She understood. Then Kyle’s family went on Vacation after the press tour ended. She had planned the trip to be just before Sophia left for college. She was also still processing the breakin and overseeing the installation of more security cameras. She was also closing down het boutique so yes Kyle had a lot going on.
It had been almost three months after Mark’s death when filming began on RHOBH, She went back to working on Pump Rules two days after returning from the funeral.

Sorry I just noticed you were talking about Pump Rules. My dates were for RHOBH which started later.
She said on VPR that she had just returned from England two days before she started filming for VPR though and PUMP RULES was wrapping in the end of June.
The girls trip wasn’t even until the end of July, so they didn’t wrap in June. They typically film from about the beginning of June until about mid-late August. I think one season they went a little later with filming, but I can’t recall which one. Lala got engaged early September this year and I think there may have been a crew there, but I’m not certain. I’d be surprised if some of that wasn’t somehow in this season, but who knows?

I have a “friend” like LVP who is quick with the put-downs, It’s exhausting to be around her. I’m not generally a defensive person nor do I tend to brag a lot (I hope), but she brings out both in me. Perhaps Kyle feels the same. You have to constantly remind yourself what is real because the other person is just making crap up. I like watching LVP and hope they keep her, but it’s good to see Kyle standing up for herself.
I’m the idiot Mr. Prez refers to because I’ve never seen Kyle as the one pulling the strings. She always seems like the normal one with normal expectations and normal reactions.

My friend owns a goat farm, sells milk, soap and other stuff. She started doing this goat yoga and its the stupidest thing Ive ever seen, but people pay money for it so good on her. Wait a sec, ill backtrack, it is kind of amusing when people get head butted or humped by the goats and seem shocked (thats why ya sign a waiver). So i guess that part is hilarious and Ill pay to just watch lol
Say what you want about LVP but she is 100% right about the dog situation. Dorit should have returned the dog to Vanderpump Dogs. Just because she didn’t take the time to read the contract doesn’t mean LVP should just let it go. I did find it odd that Lisa didn’t tell her that Kyle also was involved in the conversation and is aware of the situation.
I believe Lisa only told Dorit that Teddi knew so Dorit would have someone to blame for the leaked story. As in, this all would have gone away if it wasn’t for Teddi talking about it. Dorit even made comments at the pool party about Teddi and the possibility of her using this info against her. All of which just reinforces why I dislike Dorit so much.
a) Lisa is totally correct about the dog situation and she knows there was no very nice lady with a lovely home as well as we do.
b) Lisa can’t be the one to publicly shame Dorit for taking the dog to a shelter or letting it loose or whatever she did with it. So she met with Dorit to “let her know that people were talking about it” PARTICULARLY TEDDI who has committed the fatal error of becoming fast friends with Kyle during the off season AFTER ALL THAT GROOMING she did with her little Teddi Bear. Teddi must pay.
d) So she wound Dorit up and send her after Teddi which was easy because those two don’t like her anyway. Dorit would be less likely to get into it with Kyle. In fact when the Teddi situation blows up, Dorit goes to Kyle to protect her from LVP.
It’s all very calculated on LVP’s part and yet still very transparent.
This is going to be a fascinating season! The master manipulator will be exposed but I wish the nitwit was going down with her!
The Dorit dog situation to me made no sense. I thought maybe editing. There would be some sort of trail to follow regarding the placement/abandonment of the pup. Easy to follow and resolve. This is probably what’s coming.
ROFLMAO. If you don’t understand the dog situation, you might as well tap out of the season now. It was explained on this episode and in this post and will be the only thing we talk about for the rest of the season and beyond. Or at least until LVP can take Dorit out without Paul knowing she is behind it, I might be Team Pinky if she manages to pull that off.
The dog shelter needs to weigh in. Who brought the dog in?
1)Did the person say she was an owner who could no longer care for the dog? I doubt that because then the shelter would not have had any reason to check the dog’s chip!

2) Did the person say she found the dog? This is the likely excuse given. So was it Dori/one of her lackeys? or was it the “nice lady” with the “beautiful home” who decided to take the dog to a distant shelter and pretend she found it wandering?

Glad this is back as it’s my second fave to RHONY. In light of everything we’ve read about PK and Dorit being so shady, (and incidentally, how are they still in that house), I’m giving a hard side-eye to both the “burglary” and dog story. If the dog is aggressive, D should’ve gone to LVP to tell her. She likely forgot the dogs are chipped and who knows if it wasn’t Dorit who gave it to a shelter. And I don’t believe LVP believes D’s story 1000% either. I sure as hell don’t. What is strange is you’d have to assume at some point in the future, LVP would’ve asked about the dog and how long could she keep up the lie that she still had the dog? I can’t stand Dorit and I also don’t like the story line of Erika hanging with her. I loved the goat yoga! The cutest. Looks like a good season.
LVP, quite simply, has had the most success with her ventures on Bravo. This began way back between Season 1 and 2, when Kyle pitched a show and the producers and LVP came up with “Vanderpump Rules”. I will say I did not care for the LVP/Brandi friendship. This LVP/Kyle crap has been going on for 10 years. First it was Kyle and Taylor calling LVP “jellie” over their friendship, when LVP was suspect of Taylor and her scammer ways and ampig up Camille-which Taylor in fact did. Then is was Kyle, at the top of the Eiffel Tower, no less, bawling about how LVP liked Brandi better than Kyle. In more recent years it has been Dorit, friend of LVP and Kyle developing a close relationship with PK and Dorit outside the show. Then Teddi arrived and it became about who Teddi liked the most.
The common chord in all the falling outs is the ridiculous notion there has to be some blood oath level of loyalty which just causes a deep rift between the cast and exactly what the producers want. One person’s slight is not necessarily the end all to all those in their lives.
Once again it comes down to some stupid party. I would be curious how many of the RHOBH cast were invited to the Tom Tom Daily Mail party. Everyone always goes to all things Kyle but Kyle is
not nearly as generous. She didn’t even show up for Erika on DWTS.
Kyle was always my favorite until last season. LVP may be quick with the barbs and icing out but after nine seasons of Kyle’s emotional outbursts I just can’t anymore. Last year Kyle upended two of Dorit’s events in the name of trying to get LVP to declare her loyalty to her. When LVP finally took Dorit down, Kyle was there inn the talking heads condemning LVP and her ways.
I hope they both remain on the show and they keep widening the cast.
To me the biggest friend of the RHOBH this season seems to be Charlie Sheen.
I was reading through your spin on LVP throwing Kyle under the bus for every new addition on the show thinking wow, this is some magical thinking and then I got to the last sentence and realized…you just have a very vivid imagination.
Silly me, I thought the commonality between Rinna and Denise is the fact their husbands were once married to Nicolette Sheridan. I saw Charlie in an interview where he teased he might be part of filming of RHOBH due to the exchange of children between he and Denise. Charlie use to be neighbors with LVP and Adrienne-and of course Kyle knows him because when she was 15 she dated C.Thomas Howell. I am guessing Kyle was a junior member of the Brat Pack.
I find Charlie to be an interesting character, it would not bother me if he had a cameo or two.
Other interesting friend competitions, Joyce who eventually brought LVP around to her way of thinking and was always loyal to Kyle, Yolanda who liked LVP and then tossed her aside for Kyle and then dumped Kyle, Carlton who liked her fellow Brit and then was cast off once she was no longer on the show. These women have an interesting dynamic and LVP seems to leave a heap of show friends in her wake.
Hey guys do real adult women in real life get this panty twisted over their friendships or is it all exacerbated by being on the show and public? I really can’t imagine anyone I know having any kind of confrontation however benign over who is being a bad friend or being replaced as a friend or whatever. I honestly want to know.
I certainly don’t know any women who act this way. I’ve been to dinner with friends and never has a wine glass been thrown. No tables flipped. No one doing coke in the bathroom (without telling us all) None of this is real life.
HOWEVER, the thing with Kyle and Lisa is that very early on in the franchise the decided to have each others back. And Lisa got PISSED when Taylor Armstrong came on and was actually the one who STARTED the whole whiny thing about Kyle liking Taylor better than her. From that point forward, Lisa has gone for the new housewife to have as a pawn and the roles reversed,
Since then, Lisa is Lucy hold the football for Charlie Brown to kick. Every season Lucy/Lisa promises Charlie Brown/Kyle that she will not pull the ball away. and every season Charlie Brown/Kyle trusts her and goes running full speed ahead to kick the ball only to land flat on her back with hurt feelings again.
As awful as Lisa is being in the present day, Kyle is still saying she loves Lisa and wants to be her friend. It’s sad really.
Ugh Kyle sometimes you just have to let go. I totally get this. I’m the Charlie Brown too and I’ve finally decided to stop giving people endless chances. With some of them it hurts but feeling like an asshole over and over hurts more. Now, is it too late to do something a bit more productive with my day …..??

TT, I have got to say, I am a very disappointed in the stance you are taking in the first episode, granted I DVR’d it last night and will watch it tonight, so I don’t know what happened yet, but still, as the blogger, shouldn’t you be somewhat above all of the drama and back and forth, and as a blogger, or reporter, shouldn’t you also be bias?

LVP is absolutely setting Teddi up to take the fall for this. That was such a weird thing for LVP to explain to Dorit. Also, there were some super weird vibes happening at that dinner. PK didn’t seem engaged at all with LVP and Ken and it felt very defensive from the moment they walked in the restaurant. Also, PK looked like a slob.
Also, I would love to have someone like Kyle as a friend. Simply for that charcuterie board.

I’m team Rinna because I was a huge Billie fan back in the day, and she seems to at least wear her messiness and move in after her hits. I’m not here for anyone who can’t stand that their own shit don’t stink. Which goes for most housewives, across the board. Buy LVP is decidedly on the direct opposite end of this spectrum and I find her infuriating.

I’m just here taking a few minutes to read the recap and all the comments as i take a little break from work. I am just so happy that Beverly Hills is back on! I’ve been looking forward to the start of it for weeks. I think Kyle’s hair looks fantastic. Actually she just looked really good in general. I still love teddy. She seems so grounded. Please TT don’t ruin her for me LOL. As much as I can’t stand Dorit, she’s kind of like comic relief on the show. I’ve been watching the old episodes here and there as Bravo has been replaying them for the past couple of weeks. I remember when the show first started that I did like LVP. Probably for the first couple of seasons. I didn’t really like Kyle at the time because she was such an enabler to her addict sister and that is a horrible trigger for me. I like Kyle much better when Kim is not around. Anyways, I’m not an LVP fan since S3 or so because she is so shady. Didn’t Erica’s husband with the vicious reputation as a lawyer call LVP calculating or something like that? To me, that says it all. What is going on with Erica’s husband? Are they getting divorced? Oh, and they do goat yoga around here. And I am terrified of it! I do not want an animal with hard hooves jumping on my back. Yoga is hard enough for me without stinky animals jumping on me.
I think Erika and Tom’s arrangement was broadened there for a while while Tom had a little dalliance. I think that fizzed out when she realize he was not going to divorce Erika. Their marriage is very non traditional and most of the time they are both quite content with it. Erika was living in that apartment she said was a work studio for quite some time. I should ask around to see if she is still there and back at the house just for filming or actually back at the house.
Oooooo, keep us posted on this, TT! He married the sexy 190’s pin-up girl he always wanted and she went from waitress to lady of a very big manor. They both got what they wanted but it’s grown stale. It happens. Erika was correct when she said something to the effect that Tom was brilliant enough to get out of any prenup. He is still wise enough to know it’s cheaper to keep her while they both do their thing.

And as a dog rescue person it’s true- all rescue places state you must bring the dog back to the rescue place if it’s not a fit. I’m also shocked Dorit would agree to a rescue in the first place she strikes me as the type to go to a breeder.
I totally agree about Dorit and the dog. The dog doesn’t seem to be at all what a family like Dorit’s would want or need. A breeder to hold their hand, guide them and be there in support sounds like better option. I imagine the story of how the dog was placed with them could be interesting! Sounds like a bad idea from the beginning.

What breeder holds your hand and guides you through problems after a sale has been made? From my experience, most of them don’t give a shit about the animals, and they have no fucking clue what they’re talking about but dole out medical and nutritional advice that ends up being wrong. Dorit is a self absorbed nitwit. She barely takes care of those adorable kids of hers; there’s no way she’d take care of a dog. The novelty of a puppy wore off when she realized they piss and shit and need to be trained, so back that pup went.
I know many ethical breeders who behave the way I explained. They are out there. But as in anything you can educate and support puppy buyers and they will still screw up. I think Dorit is one of those and could never handle a dog nor make proper judgements in dog care.
I would like to mention the scene where, right before Lisa tells Kyle to get the fuck out of her house, Ken is screaming at Kyle and finger bumps her in the chest. He is abusive and completely loses his shit when angry.
I am a dog person who has several dogs and always have. I have been a veterinary assistant, shelter worker, rescue, breeder and currently help people connect with available dogs. So my viewpoint centers around the “dog’s” point of view and interest.
First a couple of things. I heard LVP state in an interview her rescue has placed about 850 dogs. This seems quite low for a rescue in SoCal in the 2-3 years of its existence. Second, I’d like to know how Lucy was placed with Dorit and family. I could tell from the brief scene last night that dog was inappropriate from the get go. Were the kids/Dorit/Pk in love with the puppy? What? Not a good placement.
Thirdly, yes we have contracts and there’s good reason for it, uninformed people like Dorit and PK. Whether or not you read or understand the terms doesn’t mean you don’t have a legal responsibility to uphold the contract. I’m an odd egg, I will enforce all my contracts and yes, I’ve brought legal action, yes I’ve won.
Ok, so puppy “bites” the kids and takes a chunk out of PK’s nose. Guess what, puppies have sharp teeth and they play bite. If they haven’t learned proper play biting from their mothers or been properly trained, they will continue to play bite and it might be too hard for kids and old men’s noses. Train you puppies folks!
Now what I witnessed last night was a nervous dog who probably has anxiety. The dog should not have been out with the ladies, film crew and others. Seems like no matter where this poor dog is, people are acting like fools. (except for the rescue who had the dog and called Vanderdogs about her) This poor dog needs the proper home!
The nervous rescue guy who’s friends with Teddi was 100% inappropriate. Dog shouldn’t have been in scene, he shouldn’t be talking about being upset and my guess is he doesn’t have the mental make up to do dog rescue work. Anxious people won’t last long in rescue.
If I come across a person who I know should not have a dog, yes this is a judgment call made from lots of experience, I will alert other rescues or breeders to that problem person. Why? Because my main priority, 100% of the time is to the dog. So in that respect I understand LVP not caring who knows how wrong Dorit was in her actions with Lucy. Dorit gave Lucy to someone or took her to the rescue herself, don’t know. Either way she was wrong in not taking the dog back to Vanders or letting Lisa know what was going on. Can not give any slack to Dorit on this point.
If the world thinks she’s a bad dog mommy, that’s good.
Up until this point I did think Vanderpump dogs was a legit thing, doing good work. But now I am curious as what’s really going on with that establishment. I will be keeping my eyes open. I don’t understand the whole Kyle thing, what is Teddi’s involvement here and don’t get how this whole season will go down.
But I’m glad Lucy survived and I hope she has a nice and loving life minus Hollywood drama.
While you’re at it does it seem realistic to you how many cute adorable and perfect dogs they have? Aren’t rescue dogs a little more varied in their ages and breeds? The dogs at vanderpump look like they would be snapped up for $1,000 not abandoned. Probably she charges that much as a “donation” or a “service fee” and calls it adoption when it’s basically a sale. Yes I have a problem I see conspiracies and shadiness everywhere.
I agree. Something strange about this rescue. It’s ok to specialize in kind of dogs you rescue, especially in large metro areas. But it doesn’t seem like a true rescue when you look at number of dogs placed and the staff.
I actually do believe LVP truly loves dogs but may not know as much about the dog world as she does about restaurants. Maybe this rescue is a hobby, tax right off or whatever, don’t know.
I emailed TT about this awhile ago. I have done some fostering and limited work with breed-specific rescues. Two separate episodes, LVP had purebred puppies in the breed I work with (brussels griffon)
That is….really really unlikely. Griffs are still sort of rare and there are multiple breed-specific rescues that monitor larger rescues and pull rescued griffs whenever they can to free up space. Since then I knew it was a scam. I hope she is doing good but I went to her location last fall and its heavy on VP dog “merch” for purchase.
I have had two rescued Griffs. One was rescued from a sheriff’s raid of a closed breeder and the other at a shelter – 100’s of miles apart. They are very rare and they really needed specialized placement. It is extremely odd that they would have two and without a Griff specialized review of the homes, I can’t imagine that the placements went well. Keep up the good work with the Griff rescues, they are wonderful dogs in the right home.
Alot of people do dog releases to a rescue when their owner dies, move and can’t take animals to the new home, can’t afford to keep due to financial issues, allergies and illnesses. We have alot of rescues around here who often have puppies and pure breeds up for adoption bringing them to local pet stores and set up sites on the weekends.
I live in Los Angeles and volunteer with a small Cocker Spaniel Rescue. We never have more than 20 or so dogs at a time and take a lot of medical needs dogs.
850 dogs is a LOT for a small rescue. With respect to the Brussles Giffon, maybe someone released them to her? People call us all the time to take in their dogs. Just a thought.
Excellent point. When you’re a smaller rescue you would have fewer rescues.
I’m wondering if PK and Dorit have something JUICY on the Vanderpumps. Something that gets them a pass from their wrath. The body language at that restaurant just didn’t add up. Ken and Lisa seemed to be seething underneath the reassurances of No Malice intended. And PK seemed a tad defiant, while Dorit did her dumb broad act, yet her facial expressions had something behind them IMO.
Would anyone have any info on this?
Dorit and PK are embarrassed over their handling of the dog and even more embarrassed they got caught.

I have a long memory. It is one of my gifts and a curse. Dorit has always been the pot stirrer and trouble maker since she came on. She is a mini LVP. She was dreadful to Teddi from almost the beginning while drooling after Erica. Is it my imagination or has her accent really taken a nose dive?

I found it very difficult reading opinions about grief. It is personal, it comes in stages that are not a definite time line to stop, cope.
Someone called me to trash my deceased son because they did not want me to believe he was a perfect person, I knew my son, I said FU and hung up the phone.
My grandson and grandson-in-law took their lives, it was a shock!
I buried my Dad, Brother, then Mother within exactly 3 months. I had to take care of their business and final arrangements without any help from my brother. During that same time period cancer took my cousin that we were close to.
I also buried my sister at 15 years ago. She called me at Christmas, I had pneumonia, she did not want to bring her sons over. She would be back in town for Easter, I would see her and her sons then, The next month she died.
Everyone handles their grief in the own time line and own way, judge not least thy be judged.

I’m sorry u went through that. I had a similar situation , my husband not son, & what people said & still say is just pure stupidity. I try not to let it bother me but sometimes it’s like , wtf….
Ive noticed people say really weird rude things at funerals alot of times too. Its so odd to me, that they arent on their best behaviour more often. I noticed the year my dad died in 2017, I got no pass from people at all or any special kindness. People were just as tough as ever.
What is going on with some tabloids reporting LVP is inoncent on the leaking? Is she paying them or someone?
Think of how many folks that knew of this dog situation as it was happening. The shelter workers, Lisa’s dog business, all of the cast and crew. There actually did not need to be a story planted by anyone for this fiasco to be well known.
I think this is somewhat of a pattern for Kyle because of her growing up with an addict and her mother the enabler. There is some truth to it isn’t just an addict who is sick, it is the whole family. Their family dynamic has been centered around Kim being the addict, and their assigned other roles. I think Kyle is still being punished for breaking out of that enabler role AND being the “poor relation” role (Poor is relative – but the house they just moved out of was NOT a Hilton mansion by any means. Kyle was living on their largesse, but she used to be married to very rich men.

TT- great recap. I also doubted Dorit’s claim their house was robbed. I looked it up and the story is much juicier than showed. A man named Benjamin Eitan Ackerman was arrested after police obtained a search warrant for his storage unit. In the storage unit they found about 2,000 items- expensive art, watches, jewelry, handbags etc totaling millions of dollars. Some of his victims include Usher, Jason Derulo, Adam Lambert, Dorit and others. The items were traced back to those celebs and there are many items of extreme value like diamond necklaces that police are doing their best to trace the items back to the owners. The suspect posed as a real estate agent during open houses. The access to the homes allowed him to case the homes for valuable items and to access ways to get in and out of the home and what security system the homes had. He also asked about returning for a private showing which let him know when the home owners would be home or out of town. Those that remember seeing him said he was dressed to the nines and acted the part perfectly. I guess I have to say he is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. It was not stated if he worked alone or had a partner.
Friends, I have just learned something terrible about myself. I. Cannot. Tell. Teddi. And. Denise. Apart. Based on exhaustive internet research and self-promoting balderdash, I believe I may have contracted the extremely rare Retro-selective Beverlo-Blonde Specific Prosopagnosia Disorder. I do not know what my prognosis is, nor who will care for me in my dotage. I believe a telethon is my only hope.

This sounds serious. But, I do believe it’s treatable. Look for accessories, such as men or children, these two in particular have different accessories. It may take time, but I believe at least partial recovery can be obtained.
Endora- i also think that maybe PK and LVP have something on each other. They choose their words so carefully when they argue. I think Lisa uses others to do her dirty work. She used Brandi to go after Kyle when the story about Maricio cheating on Kyle came out and she used Brandi to go after Adrienne Maloof. She also did it with Scheana and Brandi. LVP knew their history yet at several events she hosted she had Scheana there working just to get under Brandi’s skin. Now her employee is feeding info to Teddi about Dorit. LVP gets Dorit in hot water but it’s now Teddi’s fault. LVP is always a common thread and she is careful to not get the she said/ she said conversations on camera. Very calculating.
OK, I don’t understand the doggy thing. If the dog was a biter, why didn’t PK and Dorit simply take it back? I’ve rescued several pets (all cats so dogs may be different) and acted as a foster for many of them. Every group I worked with had a very specific written and verbal clause that if there were any problems, you return the animal to the rescue organization. Why would you try to rehome a biter? That seems like something the rescue organization would totally understand. So, I think Dorit and PK and possibly Lisa V are lying about the pet being rehomed and then being turned in to a shelter.
And while I know this is not a Lisa V friendly site, I do have to say that the correct response to someone telling you that they are still reeling from their brother’s suicide is NOT “I have stuff going on too” so as much as I love Kyle, that was really shitty on her part.
I wouldn’t let those morons Dorit and PK adopt a pet rock.

LVP has lost some weight. You can see it in her chest. I don’t know her crazy but I do wonder about Ken. He’s been awfully angry the last couple of seasons. That looks like a health issue to me.

Erika Jaynes over the top schtick is getting to me. I’d just like to see her not look like a cartoon character.
What i want to know is how that dog ended up in San Bernadino called the most dangerous city in California known for gangs and drive-by shootings about an hour and half from Beverly Hills. That shelter is known to bean awful high kill shelter that barely keeps the dogs any length of time. They were lucky to get it out in time. My Best Friend moved here from there because her children were afraid for her safety staying there but her family owned alot of property there.

Yeah, that is the first I have heard of San Bernardino being the most dangerous city in CA and I’ve lived here all my life! The inland empire in general has a lot of meth heads (due to the location at the edge of the desert) but there are far more perilous cities in CA.
While that shelter does suck, the worst one out that way is Devore. They are so awful, they won’t take free blankets from Operation Love because they are too lazy to wash them. The only way a dog ends up out there is to be picked up out that way.

I think at the end of the day I haven’t admitted it but I must be one of those Lisa fans. Did anyone notice how Kyle was walking when she let Teddi in? She walked really weird in her leggings. She looks great but that walk was kind of strange. Almost like she hurt her back or something?

re the dog, I don’t think Dorit thought about what kind of shelter the maid took the dog to at all, and that she just wanted it out of the house. But Dorit claimed LVP was ok with that, that she texted Dorit to that effect?
There is no thinking about “what kind of shelter” ALL OF LA is “kill shelters” and she would know that, everyone knows that.
She said she texted Lisa that the dog WENT TO A “GOOD HOME.” Lisa would NEVER be okay with dropping a dog off at a random shelter!
I think Lisa Vanderpump advocates for dogs because she can’t handle the complexities of a human relationship. You can train dogs they’re not going to turn on you and make you explain yourself to them. Beverly Hills Has always had heavy dark issues on it. Suicide,addiction, divorce and cheating and Lisa was right there watching and making her “jokes”.

Great recap! Wow, this season is off to a brisk start! Everyone’s already covered anything I might comment on, but just want to add that it’s almost fascinating to watch Lisa across both shows. The way she makes excuses for the behavior of people useful her (Jax, Dorit, the manager at Villa Blanca) and just as easily attack a show friend, like Kyle. She rewards or withholds, The only people she cares about really are her family, everyone else is on the periphery and expendable. LVP’s kind of gangster that way, with her provisional loyalty and code of omerta. Doesn’t sound like it’s going to happen, but I’m still holding out hope that Dorit gets the boot.
Kyle looked fabulous, nice to see her in the drivers seat this season. I did notice in the opening not only is Kyle in the center (maybe she has before and I don’t remember) but all the ladies are wearing shades of pink, while LVP is not. Did Lisa remove her crown, or did the cast members knock it off her head? Hmm.

Faye Resnick penned a book on her “best friend” Nichole Brown Simpson that will cause you to retch The Kardashians I have always considered to be OJ’s parting gift to American trash celebrity. With what Kyle grew up with, I think that her acceptance of and frindships with these idiots is perfectly understandable. Just not palatable. I have always regarded Kyle as an insecure, troubled clinging vine. She stirs the pot whenever she is feeling left out, or criticized. I ignore her or else I end up grinding my teeth.
I never hated Faye for that book, because it seemed like the truth. To me, the truth needed to come out that OJ was a sociopath, not a hero. I remember people saying back then, we needed heros and must believe in them, and telling us Nicole and OJ were on good terms. For quite awhile the wife beating and obsession, stalking wasnt exposed or believed. Nicole had tried to tell it, and the police and her own family werent receptive. People were afraid of OJ. So, I dont get the Faye hatred. Even if shes not the best person, she got the truth out. Perhaps people just hate the truth so they hate the messenger.
Nicole exacerbated the situation with OJ a lot back then, The relationship cut both ways.
No, I DO NOT think he should have ever touched her or laid a finger on her. But poking the tiger in the eye is also a bad strategy.
Nicole knew his propensity for violence and jealousy and she kept tempting fate and sadly lost her life. Faye was criticized for writing the book because it literally came out before the trial and some saw it as cashing in on Nicole’s pain.
OJ did not intimidate anyone, when the police were called he put on a charm offensive, a lot of the police were into him because of football, so he managed to talk his way out of it.
Anybody catch Teddy’s little boy in the pool growling to his Mom to “Get my cellphone NOW so I can text my friend ?” (Dorit’s kid) Something along that line. Teddy just shrugged it off. Then he proceeds to urinate in the pool. Everyone seemed pretty good natured about that. When Brandi’s child did that many seasons ago, some of the housewives were awful to her about it.

I watched the episode today. I noticed, during the scene at Rinna’s – where she served cheese, crackers and drinks & introduced Denise Richards…TWICE the camera showed flies ON the Food!! Shade from production? Maybe so.
I have always liked Denise Richards, she’s a good addition to BH.
Not fond of Rinna, she’s still yukking it up in her talking heads, ugh.

I am sure people mellow and change over the years but at the time she wrote that she was deep into cocaine and valium and men- a hard core drug addict. I know she has been through rehab more than once. I am thinking addicts are familiar to Kyle and she might be very compassionate and loyal to what is familiar.
On Twitter Lisa confirmed Doris has gotten 2 dogs, one went back to Vanderpump, the other the pound.
I was 12 when my brother died. Almost 40 years later and I still cry uncontrollably at slight things that remind me of him. I believe Lisa is having a hard time dealing with her grief- and bottling it up is so damaging (that’s what I did too).
I also believe bringing the dog out was shady. And Dorit’s story about the dog is shady. But Lisa totally outed it to the media and lied about it. All of these things can coexist within the world of truth.

Bow down to cotonmama for her info on responsible rescue. The shelter I am most familiar with is ARF — Animal Rescue Foundation — founded by former Oakland A’s manager Tony La Russa and his wife in the early 1990s. It is a national model for no-kill shelters. Vanderpump Dogs could do well to follow that model. ARF conducts a thorough vetting of the adoptive family for every animal. That includes meeting EVERY HUMAN AND ANIMAL in the household. Animal behaviorists spend time with each animal and make stipulations, such as “not suited for a family with small children,” and “does best with women,” etc. ARF does not want the animals bounced around. I understand why LVP is upset, but her shelter needs to develop more stringent adoption rules. To Dorit and PK, the $5,000 means nothing. Especially because likely they wouldn’t pay it.
That dog was obviously a poor choice for a household with small children, who likely tormented the dog while Daddy PeeeeKaaaaay was shaving his hands.
I think Dorit and her soft handed husband are big liar faces. The dog story doesn’t add up, period. Her kids are super adorable though. I can almost deal with her screen time if it means they will be shown eventually. Also, what is up with her outfits?!
Did anyone else feel like this season is shot differently? Like, brighter colors added or are my eyes really bad?
ALL dogs bite! And . . . I’m betting that Dorit spends as much time training her children as she does her dogs! Pet them, love them and they will be your friends for life! Hit them, abuse them and . . . they BITE!
I know production usually eggs on these storylines and pits these women against one another by telling them what they say about each other x 100. I also believe production sells stories to tabloids to create conflict and to hype up the upcoming season. Normally I would say this was all set up by production, but Lisa and Kyle are both very smart and invested in this show doing well. I think Lisa manipulates things to keep the show interesting as well as to settle personal vendettas. This dog situation probably seemed like a golden opportunity to Lisa. She hadn’t forgiven Dorit for her disloyalty from last season and could paint her as the asshole she really is for abandoning the dog instead of bringing it back to the rescue, she could punish Teddi for being bffs with Kyle and not her, and Kyle would have to take a side against either Teddi or Dorit. She basically scripted the entire season, as usual. Sometimes I also think Lisa and Kyle come up with these things together. Kyle’s an actress and Lisa is/was an aspiring actress, so it wouldn’t be hard for them to be acting a lot of this out.
Some questions for anyone who knows, when did Dorit’s robbery happen and when did the dog thing happen? Did she decide to get a dog after the robbery as protection or did she get the dog before the robbery?
I also have a theory that Erika is siddling up to Dorit because she’s a smart cookie and knows that Lisa and PK probably have shady secrets. She’s probably trying to get the info out of her. What other reason could she possibly have for hanging out with Dorit?
I’m late to the party, as always, and I haven’t had chance to read through all the comments yet. I love Denise and I still can’t stand Dorit. Looking forward to the season and LVP finally being exposed.
Hi all…am in Las Vegas and ran into LVP, Ken, Pandora and Jason. Her new restaurant is opening soon so I assume they were there for that. No pictures as she ducked into a very dark lounge and hid out in a corner. I somehow expected her to be a bit more glamorous but I guess off camera time will do that to you.

I missed being accused of being Kenya when RHONY started and I started being accused of Bethenny. That was fun. Apparently now that RHOBH I am Kyle! This is the best one ever! It’s like I keep getting promoted to richer and richer housewives! There is no where left to go now that I am Kyle.

Early on I couldn’t stomach LVP and saw what she was doing w/Brandi and Kyle. There were so many stans then — they loved her swans, puppies, and ponies; they loved that she talked pretty, they gushed over her beautiful pink dresses (OMG!). And, the stans adored the HWs that kissed LVPs ass and loathed anyone who called out LVP for manipulating and stirring the pot.
I’m so excited to see the Lisa Lickers have found their way to your site. This season is going to be delicious.
I used to be naive to LVP too. I think I am not sure when I came to my sense. It might have been AFTER Brandi. I don’t remember exactly. I didn’t really get the full extent of her evil nature until I started reading the lawsuits that magically were not covered anywhere else. I just got lucky and had a source in the courtroom.
There is still time for the stans to see the light, It just takes some of us longer than others.
OMG — Kyle’s house is amazing!! If Faye helped Kyle decorate it she has redeemed herself. It is really amazing — cozy yet elegant. Kyle’s house is my favorite HW house to date.
4 of my top 8 HWs among all the franchises are on the RHOBH. Kyle, Teddy, Rinna, and Erika.
It is interesting to see Erika and Dorit friendly with each other. I missed the end of the past two seasons. I read about them here — but never saw Erika when she was at her worst. Therefore, Erika is still one of my favorites.
Teddy showed how uninterested she is in stirring the pot when she kept the secret about Dorit’s dog ending up at the pound. Someone like LVP would have used that information to throw a rock while hiding her hand.
I am so happy for Kyle that she isn’t letting LVP spin a web to trap her this season. It is clear that LVP misrepresented the truth on camera and hoped Kyle would react. LVP was spinning the truth about why Kyle didn’t go to the party and she didn’t blink a false eyelash doing it. LVP seemed unbothered when Kyle corrected her and was determined to find another angle to make Kyle look like a bad friend. If this doesn’t show the Lisa Lickers how LVP operates, nothing will.
Another example of how LVP operates was when she told Dorit that Teddy knew about the dog ending up at the pound. LVP knew what she was doing — she was happy to set up a confrontation between Dorit and Teddy. I love that Dorit and Teddy didn’t take the bait. Dorit might have but Teddy shut it down.
Teddy and Kyle aren’t letting LVP manipulate them and I am so excited to watch this season.
I like the relationship we’re being shown between Rinna and her daughters. Seeing them belly laugh while doing yoga was so fun to watch.
LVP tweeted an article that apparently vindicates her and says the she did not leak the story about the dogs. I didn’t read it. I plan to sit back and watch it play out.

I’m ready! I love the houses, food, trips and clothing always, this season I may even like a cat fight or two, seems to be in order, finally. I’m really looking forward to Camille’s wedding. Went to one a few years ago on the big island and I just love weddings and Hawaii.

Did Kyle get a butt job and face work done?
I thought Kyle came hard for LVP right out the gate and … never been a Kyle fan. She’s not my least fave but I feel like she “manufactures” the storyline. I’d like a little clarity on her producer role. Is it just a title? I feel like she does most of the press, is always involved in something but has never spent her time in purgatory. I reckon there’s 40% acting there fo’ sure. She’s my sniper from the side. She’s said some horrible things on screen about LVP, Brandi and the nipples thing, Faye was clearly in there as her mouth piece, she made Kim’s illness open for discussion [yes we could see but her admission gave everyone permission to talk about it – who does that to a sister?] You can see LVP can’t do confrontation like the rest of them and Kyle railroads her with a verbal barrage, it’s like she can’t get words out.
Do I think LVP tweaks behind the scenes? Yeah sure but they all do! How on earth is Dorit now friends with Erica??? PS There were shades of 1980’s middle aged ladies on holidays in that Dorit pool get up, almost reminded me of the grandmother on the Nanny. She’s so fake and try hard I don’t get why she’s still in!

I hate to say it but, I’m down to my last 2 franchises NY and BH. I won’t be watching OC with this Vicki demotion, NJ was an absolute snoozefest so I probs won’t bother, never been into Atlanta [I just couldn’t get into it mainly with Kim] and Dallas and the poo thing was just so ridiculous. Give me what I came for… seeing glitz and glam and what it looks like on the other side of the fence with a side of cattiness.
I know it’s not *just* about a dog but at the same time, really? Is this all we got? Give me actual drama – PK’s legal woes, Erica’s real relationship… but nah right, they don’t want to show us their real lives on a reality show, they wanna argue over a dog which should have been handled as per contract. Dorit probably only wanted the dog to suck up to LVP like she morphed her wardrobe to align with Erika.
If they all end up mates with Dorit, I think I’ll have to tap out… and finger crossed it’s not another “own it, own it” season by Rinna clearly she’s not working with much, if you know what I mean. She’s just vindictive.
I love in the opening moments they show Rinna has a Rottie! TT, you know I love my daughter’s 2 Rotties to pieces! Big dogs rock! The two most affectionate, adorable, well behaved dogs in my world!

This is all good for Dorit. This was supposed to be about a puppy that ended up at a kill shelter.
All of the deflecting takes the fact that Dorit and her husband ignored the contract and gave a puppy to someone that happened to be at their house when they were complaining about a puppy biting her kid.
First, you don’t give a young child a little puppy.

Bad behavior these people are teaching their kids.
Dorit is as fake as it gets. She started this so she wouldn’t look like the a_ hole that she is.
I mean the picture of her husband with a spot on his nose. Really? Puppies have sharp teeth and nails, and this happens. That’s how they play.
