Gina Kirschenheiter Gets THIRD Moving Violation In 2019

February 8, 2019 by tamaratattles 15 Comments

Gina Kirschenheiter of Real Housewives of Orange County fame needs to take some driving lessons. She is on the brink of having her license suspended for six months. As a mother, she definitely needs to be more responsible with her driving! It is distracting enough to drive with kids in the car, but when you are a shitty driver, it’s even more dangerous.

Thus far in 2019, Gina has been ticketed for three separate events. She got her first point on her license for running a stop sign in January.

Then, a week ago, she got a DUI coming home from a girl’s night out at four in the morning. That brings her to three points On her California Driver’s license. Four points in one year results in your license suspended for six months!

After the DUI Gina stupidly went gave statements to the press and her social media regarding her DUI arrest before she went to court. Clearly, she didn’t have an attorney at that time.  She did seem remorseful, as most everyone would be in that terrible situation. She posted on IG with the title of, “The Best Apology Is Changed Behavior”

From Instagram

I honestly believe that some issues no matter how great and important are truly only a part of our awareness once we are personally effected by them. For me….what happened this week is that issue. It’s amazing how in the course of less than a week you can realize the full extent of allowing people into your every day life and how the opinions of everyone watching can run from incredibly chastising to extremely supportive.

Bad choices have bad consequences. Mine are magnified bc I chose to share my life with you on a very public stage. Those who are a part of my real life gave me words of encouragement and love knowing the content of my character and the love in my heart. As embarrassed and hard on myself as I’ve been in these past few days, I’ve been shocked by the astonishing amount of “it could have happened to anyone” and “we’ve all been there” that I’ve received through friends both close to me and on social media.
I could easily join in with the chorus saying “you’re right, it could be any of us” but it shouldn’t be any of us. EVER !

It’s terrible that this has become a social norm. I am disappointed in myself and that I am a part of this social norm. Especially since everyone who knows me knows I’m the queen of Uber/Lyft. This didn’t happen to me. I wasn’t “unlucky” I made a conscious decision to do something epically stupid. One time is one time too many. I am awake now. I can promise this will NEVER BE ME again.

To all of you who wrote me with pain in their hearts about how drinking and driving has had a negative impact on them and their families, I hear you. Thank you. I make this promise to each one of you with your messages in my heart…. I am committed to this cause and hope to effect a positive change and dialogue. You don’t have to believe me with these words, but I hope over time you will see through my actions.

The Blast seems to have made it their personal mission to keep an eye on her traffic tickets. Today they are exclusively reporting ” [Gina Kirschenheiter] was stopped by cops on February 6 while driving in the OC. Kirschenheiter was cited for operating her cellphone while driving and will have to pay a $160 fine.”

The good news, is that the cellphone violation does not result in a point on your license in California. So she remains at three. The bad news is Gina can’t get another ticket this year, and if the first five months of the year are any indication, she better be very careful! Just one more ticket will cause her to lose her license for six months.

Gina may also need to go get some counseling to help her through the divorce process, she seems to be having a hard time of it and with filming starting for the new season, her stress will only increase.

Sidenote:

Also, while I have your attention, some of you have emailed me suggesting that The Blast is affiliated with that nefarious site. It is not. The Blast is run by three former TMZ head honchos, including Mike Walters who co-founded TMZ with Harvey Levin. They spilt from TMZ at the end of 2017 to start their own site. They have all the TMZ sources and resources and are owned by Gramercy Global Media, LLC. The confusion with the nerfarious site of shitpeople occurred when The Blast’s video of Kathryn’s hit and run was mysteriously received by that site as well as The Blast. The Blast is a great site and an utterly safe site to visit.

We don’t say the actual site here, maybe email TT so that she can deny or confirm the site in question.

Be certain TT let’s us know legit sites to visit when it comes up for safety and truth in information. I find I rarely visit any other sites anymore, tried and true, TT has the tea in a completely safe blog.

It appears that Gina is having a hard time assimilating to the rules and laws here. I thought she would have learned from that apology of hers that she had learned from her mistakes. She needs to get off her high horse because the sheriff’s dept here mean business. i do hope that she did not have any children in her car while she was be a distracted driver.

A couple points on your license means business? In the state of Georgia you automatically lose your license if you get a DUI. You can’t get it reinstated until you go through a 6 – 8 hour defensive driving course where they ream your ass for drunk driving – as well they should , and also they make DUI suspects attend a Mothers against drunk driving (MADD) meeting where mothers who lost their children by drunk drivers ream their asses and share all the gorey details of their story including pictures . They also breathalize everyone that goes into the meeting . 40 hours community service and year of probation whether you have a fancy lawyer or state appointed one and a drug and alcohol counseling assessment . then you might be able to get your license back . A second DUI ? Anyone here who gets a second is screwed . Lots of jail time , in patient rehab , you can forget getting your license the list goes on. So a couple of points on your license to me is a Tap on the wrist , a DUI should have more severe consequences. My brother is a K9 officer and the amount of times he’s had to pick up body parts off pavement- they are only gonna come down harder here on DUI suspects.

When it rains, it pours. You can do everything right for your entire life, hit a bad period, and there you are..up to your knees. I hope she hires a driver until she gets her shit figured out.

I don’t watch OC anymore but I do see her on D’Andra’s IG quite often (the past month or so?) and they were all out the other night. In her situation she should be at home trying to not piss off the courts she will be visiting from her various traffic charges.

On every RH show a cast member is shown driving while speaking on their cellphone. This makes me nuts – I don’t understand why production won’t let them use Bluetooth instead of holding the cellphone in their hand on speaker phone.

IF she had not received THREE moving violations within the last six weeks, she likely could have been able to have her DUI reduced to,a “wet reckless” charge. Especially because she neither caused an injury nor damaged property. Because the judge will be able to see her other tickets, even if not found guilty yet, it is unlikely for that to happen. If convicted, in addition to between $400 and $1200 in fines and paying for driver ed classes, she will not not be allowed to drive AT ALL for 30 days. After 30 days, Gina MAY get a provisonal license. That would allow her to drive to and from work, maybe to drive her kids to and from preschool. Because her filming hours occur at all hours, she essentially could drive anywhere and anytime. That may lead the judge to deny provisional privileges. She would need her insurance company to file an SR-22 form, which is proof of required insurance coverage, with the DMV, Her rates will go up and the SR-22 filing costs too. Then … you need to make sure that your F*ING insurance provider FILES the form, that you pay it a lot of money for, with the DMV or you will go directly to jail if you get pulled over, even in a routine check. Ask me why I know that last part …
