Right before the show started I had some updates I wanted to do to the site, and I didn’t have time so now I am distracted thinking about that which is annoying because I have been looking forward to the episode all week. I’m going to try to get my focus back on this. I’ve been doing way too much adulting this week and need to get my mind back on mindless television! 🙂
It’s time to play the veto and the three athletes want to be sure Lolo plays so she can win (bwahahahahaha) and take off Natalie. Everyone plays except one person this week. And as it turns out Lolo is the one sitting on the sidelines. Tamar is going to throw this veto. It is not in her best interest to win. Tom relishes in “picking” Lolo to host. I love Tom!
One thing is for sure, CBS got their money’s worth from Tom this season. He has been acutely focused on making good TV and he gets multiple individual scenes every week. Dancing, Cereal Box Osprey, Musings by the fire pit, diary rooms, he even said the other night that the diary quickly stopped coaching him and says what he does is way better than anything they could direct. I hope he wins fan favorite.
The veto comp is called Color Blast and the first few black and white segments are already adorable. Ah! the other night when Tom was dancing he was singing a bunch of colors in sort of a rap and I thought he was singing along to his CD. But it is the veto comp! I this point Tom still wants Ricky out at this point. I am dying to see how Kandi talked him in to taking Ricky down. Tom raps the colors in his head to remember them. Ricky is out first. Tamar goes out on purpose. Kandi goes out on accident. Then Dina and Natalie go out leaving Tom as the winner,
Tom decides he wants Ricky to go so he wants to put up one of his own allies. Kandi calmly talks him out of it. Kandi is confused that Big Brother is a democracy not a dictatorship. It is a dictatorship and the HOH is the dictator. Your job, Kandi, and you have been doing it well this far, is to coerce the HOH to do what you want him to do. Show him the err in his thinking. Kandi smartly walks away to gather herself to fight again another day. Except Tom sequestered himself until the veto ceremony and refused to talk to anyone about who he was nominating! He wouldn’t even tell me! What? We talk every night. He can’t hear me but I can hear him! They are playing one of his conversations with me right now!
At the veto ceremony Natalie gives a tongue in cheek plea to stay that was kind of snotty. Ricky says he knows he is Tom’s main target so he is not going to waste anyone’s time begging him to stay. Then, out of nowhere, Tom uses the veto to save Ricky! WTF? He says he chooses to use the veto on someone he is proud to know, the legendary, Ricky Williams! Everyone is gobsmacked! Tamar prepares to go on the block. Kandi looks like she thinks she could be going there too. Then Tom puts Lolo on the block. YAY! He tells Lolo that he told her he would be putting her on the block as a replacement and that he believes her to be safe. He still believes that and she is someone who he respects and admires. He actually means that he has been concerned many times in the house that the country will view him harshly for upsetting an Olympic athlete. That seems to mean a lot to him. Or at least to his public image.
Tom says that he hopes that Ricky might accept an olive branch and maybe keep him safe the next week. He also sees the girls as bigger threats. Kandi and Tamar are both shocked as hell. Kandi is taking it as Tom seeing things her way.
Lolo had clearly rehearsed a speech. “In a game full of lies and schemes… I think the real game is trying to find the goodness in everyone here….blahblahblah” No bitch the game is to win $250K! Not make new friends and complain that people are playing the game to benefit you and calling people bullies. Natalie cries during hers. She knows she is going. The vote is unanimous to evict Natalie.
Before Julie interviews her, there is final breaking news. The final twist is they will be playing in a safety competition where one person will be safe from eviction tonight but will not be eligible to play for HOH. I guess Tom needs to win this since he cannot play for HOH unless they change the rule due to the safety game.
The safety game is living art. There are people as statues in the house they have to count. Who ever is closest to the correct answer wins. There were 22 and Tamar won safety. That means Tamar and Tom sit out of HOH. They go right to the HOH. Some of the statues have left. They have to determine how many have left. I REALLY NEED KANDI OR DINA to win this game!
FUCK. Lolo won. That means Tom is possibly going home. HOWEVER, I heard Lolo and Natalie talking about next steps last night or the night before and they both are convinced that no one is voting for Tom and everyone is voting for Kandi or Dina because “they have no block on their hands. So I sort of predict that Kandi and Dina will go up with Dina perhaps going home. She goes with Kandi and Tom
It’s time for the veto.. Tamar won in a very dramatic tie. She MIGHT take down Kandi! Tamar hugs Kandi and starts whispering YES! WTF! She apparently told Kandi she was good when they were hugging. They are going to vote out Tom. Tamar made the best move for her game because she is still playing both sides of the fence and I think she truly believes Kandi is safe. Tom was evicted unanimously and Tamar just had to show her ass.
When Tom goes out the crowd GOES WILD! I hope those bitches still in the house heard all that! Tom says he is voting for Lolo? WTF with this one?
Only Two shows left Monday’s show is being called special. That means that some former Big Brother celebrities folks will come and the HOH will probably not even start until the end. Then the live finale is on Wednesday. I can’t check to see if it is one hour or two because I had to reset my DVR this afternoon and it is still populating. Ah Julie just said it is two hours.
Julie didn’t even tell us how to vote for America’s favorite.
I am sad Tom is gone. I forgot to light the candle so it is all my fault. Sorry, Tom!
