On this episode of Teen Mom, Jace’s dad comes out of the woodwork and I have been excited to see how it all plays out but this has been a very busy week! Let’s see what happens!
I have to record the MTV shows on their second or third airing late at night and MTV is notorious for somehow getting behind schedule. So the beginning of my DVR has Lindsay’s Beach House running into the first part. I plan to recap that next as soon as time allows, but this will mean I may not have the end of this episode. 🙁
Leah seems all hot and heavy with her new boyfriend. He has a nice house and the girls seem to like it there. Ali is getting another aide. I don’t know why that school acts like they don’t have to give her one, they do. Addie is getting ready to go to kindergarten and Leah is worried about her behavior. She is a handful but with the right teacher she will be fine.
The twins are already in third grade! Leah takes them to their father’s for the first week of school. She has Addie to take to kindergarten. Is it me or do all of these girls basically have the same name. As if names were not hard enough for me already. Aleeah and Grace are not in the same class this year. Grace prefers it that way but Ali does not. That makes sense. Grace needs to have school without having to worry about her sister.
Leah is up in the pitch black of night to take Addie with her to meet the twins at the bus stop for the first day of school. I don’t understand why the elementary kids have to go in so early when they need the most sleep. It was great being done for the day before 3 pm though. Now I am NEVER done for the day. lol. She has Ali’s wheelchair for school but the bus driver refuses to take it. What is wrong with this school system!? Plus it is a special bus with a lift, not a regular bus. I don’t get it. Leah has to take it to school.
Chelsea and her clan are moving into their new house. Meanwhile they are waiting to see if Adam pays his no show fee for skipping out on his first supervised visitation in order to be there at the next one. I’m going to guess he does not. Aubree doesn’t think he is going to pay it either. This is a lot for Chelsea to deal with so late in her pregnancy. It’s a long drive to the visitation center all for him not to show up.
Aubree seems so well-adjusted with Cole and Chelsea’s dad in her life. In a workout scene with her grandfather, she suggests that maybe he needs to beat her deadbeat dad up. I think Adam just needs to sign over his parental rights so that Cole can adopt her. Wait, didn’t he already do that? Maybe they just talked about it. Adam did not pay the penalty fee. There will be no further visits unless he pays up.
Jace is with Barb talking about hopefully spending the holidays together now that she is getting along with Jenelle. Across town, a producer informs Jenelle that Andrew has contacted her about visitation with Jace. I totally forgot we ever even saw Andrew. I am not sure I watched the first season. Andrew was a model in China? Is that true or just something Andrew or Jenelle made up? He wants production to bring Barbara, Jenelle and Jace to New York because he is too busy with work to come. Jenelle doesn’t seem to completely rule the idea out. She doesn’t want to see him herself though. I predict that David will never let this happen. He even said as much after this episode. Production wants Jenelle to call Andrew and keep production out of the middle.
Jenelle and her mom meet on a park bench between their two houses to talk about Andrew since they can’t film at Jenelle’s house because of David’s psycho behavior. Apparently, Jenelle’s father would stand her up for visitation and just sort of disappeared from her life. I had forgotten that. This explains a lot about Jenelle’s issues in adulthood and it is kind of sad. She should have had therapy when she was a child. I hope that Jace is still in therapy. Barb says she doesn’t want anymore stress in Jace’s life. Jenelle doesn’t want to talk to him so Barb has to call. Barb wants to know why he is contacting them now after nine years. He says he got his life together, he graduated from USC and has a good job now in New York. He’s 32 now and more mature now. He says he doesn’t have a drinking problem anymore. Barb says she is willing to come meet with him first without Jace. Barbara says that maybe in the future she could take Jace to lunch with Andrew as a start. Jenelle acts like any of this is up to her. It’s not.
Kaitlyn takes Isaac and Javi’s kid over to his house with his new girlfriend. They rough house with the boys (even though she is very pregnant and teach them how to ride bikes. Isaac has to go to Joe’s later but it is great that Isaac has visitation with Javi.
After all of that time in truck driving school, and just a short time on the job, Luis has quit his job and moved to New York. It’s time for Stella’s first birthday party and Louis is invited. Briana meets with Devoin to talk about Nova. She wants him to spend more time with her. He blames work. She invites him to Stella’s birthday party. Devoin seems to be doing his best with Nova especially in comparison to Louis.
Brianna has rented out a house for Stella’s first birthday party. Sigh. This is why these reality people all go broke after their shows end. Louis is coming with explicit instructions from Brianna that he needs to be there for the entire party and help out. Louis agrees.
Apparently, Louis took a DJ gig the night before the party while he is back in town. Apparently, Briana paid for his flight down so she is extra pissed. My DVR shut off right when Louis arrived to the birthday party and it looks like it will continue to next week.
