Kenya Moore Takes Her Family And Heads To The Beach!

January 20, 2019 by tamaratattles 38 Comments

Most of the country is in the deep freeze right now resigned to  just dreaming of the beach. But not our girl Kenya Moore. She’s taking her family and a private plane from the looks of it, and heading off to the beach!  That doesn’t look like Hartsfield to me! UPDATED: Y’all are right, this is Hartsfield. I haven’t been there since 2015. It looks like they rennovated in 2016! All of those seats now have electrical outlets to plug in your electronics!  I wonder if those arm can be lifted so you can still sleep across the chairs? I really need to get out more…

This is my favorite photo of Kenya and Brooklyn Doris Daly yet. Just look at how she looks at her!

It’s unclear where exactly she jetted off to this time. Probably to avoid those pesky bloggers who like to do things like announce her marriage before she does. But, based on the Spanish music playing in the back ground of her breakfast video and the landscape, I’m going with Mexico.  And we can see Marc in her sunglasses taking the photo. Wherever she is, she is there for a week because it is her annual birthday trip. Her birthday is next Thursday.  Let’s see if she posts any bikini photos…

So, friends, what is the weather like where you are? I have to go do a serious shop at the Publix in a bit and I am dreading it, but I am on sort of a health kick at the moment (Let’s not call it a diet) and am in need of many things, mostly fresh veggies and Kombucha and agave and walnut oil and salad stuff. It must be done. I am going to put on actual jeans and my black cashmere sweater that is in desperate need of dry cleaning and take on the day.

Does it really count as taking on the day if you start taking it on at 5:30 pm?

Love or hate Kenya that baby is adorable and she seems to be a devoted Mom. I wish her the best.

We got 20 inches of snow here in Missouri last weekend, were supposed to get freezing rain and more snow yesterday which thankfully did not materialize. Today was supposed to be sunny but after an hour of sun it clouded up and we’ve had two hours of unexpected snow. The Midwest always has interesting weather!

I find the amount of snow in Missouri crazy because here in West Michigan, we just yesterday got our first snow that stuck to the ground. We’d been having a very mild winter so far and I was kind of hoping it would last until spring, but knew it never could. Schools were closed on Wednesday when the temperatures dropped while it rained, leaving us with freezing rain and very icy roads. But there wasn’t any actual snow until Friday night/Saturday morning. It was 3 degrees Fahrenheit this morning and we have about 3 inches of snow on the lawn. Happy shoveling to you!

Yes, it counts. I rolled out of bed 1pm today…big snowstorm here and I didn’t need to go outside. I stayed under my warm fleece sheets and electric blanket all morning.

Have you tried stevia? Like agave, it doesn’t raise your glycemic index but has fewer calories. I have such a sweet tooth, I would put 2 tablespoons of agave in my tea and coffee. If you decide to try it , wholesome organic stevia is the best one. No aftertaste at all. I have tried every stevia brand there is—— the wholesome organic is the best, if you’re looking to try stevia.
I also like to use coconut sugar, It has low glycemic index and is 1:1 ratio regular sugar.

Agave isn’t really good for you. It’s very high in fructose. I was excited to find it, bought it and kind of liked it then read it’s really not good for you. it’s always something…it’s certainly better than Splenda to which I’m addicted.

I just discovered monk fruit sugar. It doesn’t have the bitter aftertaste of stevia. The granulated is 1:1 to sugar, but there are liquid and concentrated powder forms too. The granulated has a few carbs, the liquid says none.

It’s all about the glycemic index. My mom swears by Monk Fruit. I’ve done some baking with it and it’s worked well so far. I use Stevia in my tea. I’m used to the metallic aftertaste and don’t even taste it anymore.

Hey TT. Sure it counts, better to get it done late then not at all. I went to the grocery store Friday night. All week they said it was gonna snow all day sat , then change over to rain , then freezing rain on sun when the temp dips 40 degrees. We had no snow . It did rain for a few hours but nothing like they said it was going too. It did get really cold. I feel like the weather & news people owe me & everyone else an apology. They caused mass panic up in the Phila area & the only thing they did get right is the cold.

We had snow, sleet and ice here, but I haven’t been outside, because air had my right knee replaced on Thursday. I came home from the hospital Friday and my view has been of the closet door on the wall across from the bed since then.

I personally prefer Swwetleaf brand stevia. I think it has the best taste, by far of all the stevia brands that I have tried.

My husband just got out of the shower, and I’ll shortlybe doing another session of physical therapy under his supervision. Oh, joy!

Sweetleaf was my favorite until I tried the Wholesome brand. I got used to the Sweetleaf aftertaste but Wholesome is the one brand I have found with no aftertaste.

I still have some packets of Sweetleaf left, I rarely use them because the difference in taste is so noticeable. I don’t want to waste them so I use them every now and then.

Fun fact, when I was there last year, you couldn’t use those charging ports on the seats because they had unplugged the actual power supply to the seats on every single bank of chairs in the terminal.

Kenya has always annoyed me with her goofy laugh and snarky comments, BUT since I have seen her with baby Brooklyn Doris, I am starting to like her. She got her hearts desire right before she was too old to give birth. Good for her!! I am glad things are going her way, I feel bad that her mom abandoned her. She is better off without her for sure if she would leave her baby girl.

TT, hopefully your sky is still clear there and you’ll be able to see the lunar eclipse, expected to be quite a show. We have whispy clouds right now but the moon is still very visible…

Lol TT it sure counts. I’ve had days that have started at 8pm truth be told. I’m so happy for Kenya. She is so madly in love with her husband, her daughter and her entire life. As much as I was rooting for her to come back to RHOA, I actually no longer have a desire to see her apart of that mess. She’s truly elevating and it’s beautiful to see. TT plan a trip sis, you deserve it.

I wish I could but the site is too busy and more importantly, No one will dog sit Banjo. It’s the down side to having a guard dog. They want to eat everyone else’s face off. When the Amazon Fresh guy had to set the water delivery two feet in the door, Banjo was locked in his crate and he still looked like he may have crapped his pants.

TT: Dry cleaning takes the life out of cashmere. I didn’t know about Eucalan and Soak until I started knitting a couple of years ago. It leaves cashmere feeling soft again.

TT, I think when the weather gets better you should rent an RV. Pack up your bad self and Banjo, slap on one of those magnetic tour-bus signs that says “Tamara Tattles On Tour” and do a cross country trip. Stop off and visit some of us weirdos. We can take you to the best places to eat, drink, and have fun. Stop in L.A. at the Lucky Dog Ranch and let Brandon McMillan work with Banjo. Just think of the terror you could wreak in Charleston, Beverly Hills, etc. Maybe you could time it to meet up with Capt. Lee when he is not st sea.

It absolutely counts as taking on the day of it happens at 5:30PM! I know this because yesterday, I too, took on the day by going out at about 5:30PM, after nap time and tea time, to do a big healthy food shop. The husband and I are going low carb for as long as we can stand it. Considering I’m a vegetarian (or pescatarian? I eat fish) who mostly subsists on highly sugared coffee, toast, and honey flavored yogurt (which apparently has something like 25g of sugar per serving!?), it may be difficult. But we ate up all our bread, cereal, honey yogurt, and ice cream, and have bought more vegetables and fish and nuts than I’ve ever had in the house at one time before. I sort of wish New Year’s Day and resolutions could happen in May or so when there’s way more fresh produce in stores, prices are cheaper, and I can eat out of my own garden.

Good luck with your healthy eating, Tamara!

I am doing Keto until the good local fruit comes out (Oh Henry peaches), then switching to Paleo. I am doing keto because my shrink says it helped some of his fibro patients besides the weight loss. If those plans don’t work, back to Fat Flush Plan. That worked great until bad things happened and I stopped eating.

It is 9 degrees up here, so damn cold, and we had snow and sleet last night. We had to shovel the driveway, walkway and street, otherwise it would freeze into this big snotty mess that would not melt for weeks. Dreaming of our Florida trip in less than a month. Even if it is 40 there, way better than here. I did see the blood moon though, it was pretty cool

I wish Kenya was still on RHOA. I would rather watch her journey than Porsha’s craziness.

It’s bitterly cold here in Pittsburgh. For the past hour, I’ve been listening to my neighbor try to get her car unstuck from my car’s back bumper. She parked her car yesterday morning and it immediately slid into mine. I tried to go out and help, but she wouldn’t listen to my suggestions. It’s too cold and too early for stupid. My husband told me to get my behind back in bed and, today, I’m listening to him.
