I’m going to try to do better about staying on top of Teen Mom. It comes on a night when I have lots of my personal shows on major networks so I always have to DVR a later episode. Let’s see how this dramatic season begins. Also whoever is in charge of getting the episode info up on the cable listings for ALL the shows on cable channels does a crappy job. This episode wasn’t even labeled Teen Mom 2 on Spectrum and it sounded like it was a Teen Mom Young & Pregnant episode.
Things just keep getting better for Chelsea, the only story of any of these girls that truly has a happy ending. Her kids are doing great, Cole is the best husband and father ever, she is seven months pregnant with a baby girl and they just bought a new house.
The house is big and needs new flooring and repainting. The house is in the middle of nowhere and has tons and tons of land. That was what Chelsea loved about it was all the land with room for all sorts of animals.
Deadbeat dad Adam, has finally set up a visitation plan with the supervisory center. He has to be there fifteen minute before so that they don’t cross pats at the center, or the center will cancel the visit. I can see how this is going already. Chelsea takes Aubrey to the visitation center. They arrive a bit early so she drives around and waits so that he can get there and get in early without seeing her. Aubrey seems a bit nervous and she has no idea what she is supposed to say. Chelsea gets a call from the center saying that Adam did not show up. He will have to pay a no-show fee before he can schedule another visit. Aubrey handles the situation like an adult. Poor thing. Chelsea takes her for ice cream.
Leah and the girls are doing well and enjoyed a trip to the beach over the summer. It’s time to head back to school and Ali is going to get to keep an aide, just not the one she had last year. I mean if any child ever needed their own aide it is this one. I never understood why they were threatening not to give her one. I had to call the administration of the school next door today to tell them they can’t keep parking buses on the street in front of my house for hours particularly on trash day as the mail carriers and trash pick up can’t get to my house and I don’t want buses idling for an hour outside my house spewing exhaust everyday. They didn’t see why that would be a problem. They also didn’t understand why it was important to have the children cross at the street instead of letting them run wild (and fall down all the time) on the hipster boy’s property. It gave me such memories of trying to explain simple concepts to school administrators.
Leah’s lungs are not doing well. She has a breathing machine to help her. Leah has a new boyfriend named Jason who is already integrating with the girls. He is 39 years old. Leah is what 26? 27? Leah thinks an older man is better for her because she is already a mother of three and can’t do the life of most twenty somethings and needs someone more settled. I think she may have gone a bit too much older but we shall see. The girls tell Jason some basic production guidelines. Don’t look at the cameras! Don’t fart in front of the cameras. Don’t use the bathroom in front of the cameras. All good advice. The girls seem to like him. Addie has grown up so much! On the after show, Leah Skyped in to say that she and Jason are
broken up on a break.
Jenelle says she and David are doing “well” but he is still not allowed to film. Filming started a few weeks after Nathan and his mother refused to return Kaiser after a visit where he arrived with some suspicious bruising on his butt. Jenelle meets Barb on a park bench to chat. Barb says that what brought these too back to a good place was when Nathan kept Kaiser and Jenelle called her hysterical. Barb is always there for Jenelle when she needs her. Barb seems to think it was wrong for Nathan and his mom to keep Kaiser. I do not agree with Barb.
Jenelle goes into a long diatribe about how Kaiser played on a Slip and Slide the Friday before and the bruise was probably from that. She is not going to give Nathan any more custody. The she goes into a crying routine about Her Husband and what everyone things about Her Husband. Because, hey he is the best husband in the whole entire world. David is not a bad guy! /cuethewaterworks
I almost made a post about her husband yesterday. Apparently, in the last day or two, I think it was Sunday, David saw a car on his road (not his property, not his driveway, the road that his property comes off of. He gets on his four-wheeler an goes out the road to see a woman in a car driving down the road looking round. He confronts her and waves a gun at her and tells her to get off the street, allegedly. She was terrified and hightailed it out of there. Then her daughter went on Facebook and talked about the experience. Her mother is a realtor who was looking for land to list. The guy cannot stay out of trouble.
Nathan films with another roided out dude to give his side of the Kaiser story. Apparently Kaiser was in the bathroom and asked Nathan’s girlfriend to wipe his butt. She immediately called Nathan into the bathroom and there were switch marks all over his butt. Kaiser tells his dad David “hit him with a stick.” Nathan thinks David should have to be supervised around Kaiser. He is still under supervised visits and the charges against him were dropped. David has been convicted of violent offenses and has no supervision. This is why Nathan is going to mediation over visitation.
Jenelle shows up to court with David so production refused to film with her. Nathan tells his mom that his main issues are making sure that Kaiser is safe around David and that he needs to communicate with Jenelle and not go through David. This seems reasonable. Doris doesn’t want Kaiser around David at all. At mediation, Jenelle lied and said he still had pending charges so the supervised visits need to stay. Nothing was resolved so a court date was set.
The producer start with Baby Daddy updates. Lux’s daddy, Chris Lopez, is getting along better with Kail. He has Lux every other weekend now he is making his child support payments. They seem to be seeing each other! Javi has a girl pregnant again with that Lauren girl. Kail doesn’t care. BUT, she is not fond of the newest baby mama.
Javi’s new girlfriend doesn’t understand why Kail doesn’t want to meet her. Javi is worried about that inevitability. But the time comes at Lincoln’s soccer game. Apparently, Lauren who is really pregnant had texted some things about Kail that were quite nasty. Now Lauren is practicing soccer with Lincoln before his first game and shouting out advice just like Kail is. That would piss me the fuck off too if I were Kail. Then Lauren starts talking about how cute Lux is.
Devoin has been living with Brianna’s family for two months but she says that he still doesn’t spend enough time with Nova. Apparently, he found a job and is working a lot. He also disappears for days at a time. I cannot imagine a guy needing a couple days away from that house of harpies. Brianna doesn’t seem to have much of a storyline.
Devoin tells his friend Dre that he is working 40-45 plus hours a week as a server at TGIF. That’s a good job with a lot of hours. He has the money for his own place now. Dre is going to be his roommate. Devoin says he misses spending time with Nova but he doesn’t have much time to do that. When Devoin picks up his stuff to move out, Nova seems unbothered by it all.
On the after show, Brianna refused to sit on the couch with Javi. They are not speaking. Javi is there at the aftershow.
