I keep trying to make it through this episode, and have failed on multiple occasions. Yet I persist. I’m done with Dolores. She is no better than Frank. Trust me on this they are both shady people.
I wish Melissa and Jackie were the whole show. I like their dynamic. Melissa hints to Jackie that Danielle’s marriage was doomed before they even got down the aisle. Danielle is making all sort of preposterous allegations about Marty and just the other day managed to have Marty removed from his own house by seeking a protective order. Danielle is literally the devil in a dress. I love how polite and grateful Melissa is to the waitstaff. Jackie wants to try to settle things with Teresa but I really don’t see that happening. Melissa has managed some sort of détente with Teresa at least for now.
Melissa’s kid is having communion and Jackie is concerned that Teresa might make a scene at the ceremony. This is highly likely since Teresa made a huge scene at the same don’t christening many seasons ago.
In yet another paid product placement for Jovani, Jennifer and her mother head to the shop to buy a wedding dress for her brother’s soon to be bride via arranged marriage. In Turkish culture the grooms family buys the bride’s dress.
I can’t with this. Teresa takes Milania to Fetty Wap and that alleged child molester with the 69 all over his face concerts. So she is trying to rap. At least she comes from felony parents. She is the next felon by Bravo. Sorry not sorry. Teresa is officially the worst parent on Bravo. Milania absolutely cannot rap.
I kind of like the scenes with Joe Gorga and Frank. Joe points out that Marty is making a huge mistake marrying Marty. Frank encourages Joe to see his father more. I wish people would not pressure Joe. His father has never been very kind to Joe.
Marge meets with one of her former step-children. The other two will not speak to her. This one doesn’t speak to his father. There seems to be a lot of drama in that family. Speaking of drama, I’ve heard that Marge was extremely difficult to work with this season. She got a big head after being somewhat of a fan favorite and thinks she is some sort of diva now. That surprised me. Why on earth is Marge doing a professional photo shoot? That same source told me that production tries to edit Teresa’s footage to appear less stupid. Apparently, Teresa is even more profoundly stupid than she appears on the show.
Jackie has written a parenting article about Jennifer’s excessive spending on her children. Jennifer is furious. I can’t really defend my girl Jackie on this. You don’t speak publicly about other people’s houses that you were invited to.
After Joey’s communion the Gorgas throw and over the top party at a restaurant/bar. Jackie is cluelesss that Jennifer is pissed at her. She strikes up conversation with Jennifer about Teresa being pissed at her. Jennifer is quietly seething and looking for an escape route. She can’t contain herself any longer and asks why she thought it was okay to write an article about her children implying they are spoiled brats. Well, they are spoiled brats, but that is not something that Jackie should be writing about. Jackie is dead wrong on this one.
Jackie reads her story to Marge and Melissa. They both seem to think the story is just fine. It really isn’t as bad as Jennifer is making it out to be. Jackie then asks Teresa to please take her upcoming call to schedule a meeting so they can work things out.
At least this was a Danielle-free episode!
Next time: I forgot to mention Frank’s weird examination of Teresa’s bodybuilding “improvements.” Next week we seem him training her. It just sort of skeeves me out. Am I the only one? Danielle and Marge’s rift deepens. Jennifer is still butthurt over the article. Teresa and Jackie have a dramatic sitdown.
