Happy last reunion episode y’all! I’m gonna miss talking to you all and reading all of your comments about this show-even the #hiBrandi and the #hiLeeAnne ones =) You all have been so supportive and kind to me, it makes me sad that this is the last episode of the season. We resume with Kam admitting that her constant head nodding is her actually spacing off, not judging people. Kam and D’Andra’s arguments are revisited and Kam wants the word “society” to stop. Kam admits that her mother-in-law plays a huge part in who she is friends with. Brandi agrees with a viewer who says that Kam is only friends with LeeAnne because she’s afraid of her. Kam disagrees and says she feels the most comfortable with LeeAnne out of all the ladies. Brandi calls Kam LeeAnne’s puppet.

D’Andra says that Kam is LeeAnne’s doormat. D’Andra thinks that LeeAnne has something on all the ladies and that they’re all afraid of her, except for Brandi. Steph disagrees, saying that Kam is loyal to a fault to LeeAnne. It’s pointed out that Steph was loyal to a fault to Brandi, and Steph agrees. There’s a whole argument between D’Andra and Kam about how Kam married into the Westcott family as D’Andra says condescendingly,  but she was born in a well-off Montecito family. Cary says what we’re all thinking when she says it’s the most shallow argument ever so we will skip it.

Andy asks Cary if she and her dad became closer this season-Cary says that she and her dad have a touch and go relationship. Her parents are very conservative and didn’t like the nude Copenhagen scenes. Brandi thought her getting herself drunk plan in Copenhagen was a good idea at the time. Andy asks Brandi the question that we all asked in this group: why was Brandi upset with LeeAnne filming them naked when the Bravo cameras were filming them? Brandi said that she doesn’t trust LeeAnne and that Bravo would blur the naughty parts out. There’s more arguing about LeeAnne’s phone, Brandi insists she didn’t steal it and then yells at Kam for always “lying”. Kam wants Brandi to stand up and tell everyone what Kam has lied about-Andy wants them all the stay seated. LeeAnne got her phone back and that’s all that matters.

LeeAnne and D’Andra’s imploding friendship is discussed. LeeAnne said that the 200 dollar bank account comment was done to protect D’Andra-D’Andra and Brandi were drinking a lot in Beaver Creek and had spent a ton of money. D’Andra was afraid of what her mom would say, so LeeAnne wanted her to take the items back and save herself from Mama Dee’s wrath. D’Andra saying that Rich and LeeAnne live separate lives and that Rich cheated is brought up, and Steph says that it was a crappy thing to say in a confessional. Steph thinks D’Andra should have told LeeAnne any concerns she had to LeeAnne’s face. D’Andra doesn’t seem pleased with Steph’s interjection.

D’Andra says that Rich’s ex-wives sought her out and told her that Rich has been unfaithful to LeeAnne. LeeAnne is adamant that Rich hasn’t been unfaithful. D’Andra says she doesn’t have a drinking problem but she did go to rehab for a drug addiction. LeeAnne insists that she was concerned for D’Andra when she was talking to her about her drinking with Brandi. Andy points out that it isn’t a stretch for LeeAnne to be concerned about D’Andra’s drinking when she’s had addiction issues in the past. He also points out that both LeeAnne and D’Andra made “nefarious” remarks that stem from concern. Mama Dee comes out and says she enjoys retirement. Mama Dee is sad about D’Andra and LeeAnne’s friendship ending, and LeeAnne feels it’s from the show-that D’Andra just wants to always “win”. D’Andra actually agrees with that assessment. Mama Dee has hope for their friendship and that they just need to be best friends again. LeeAnne says it will take a life coach and D’Andra agrees to that. So maybe they can be friends again??? That’s awesome news because watching their friendship self destruct was honestly very hard to watch. It was nice to see Mama Dee so loving to them both.

Andy asks the ladies what their one do-over would be: Steph’s is saying what she would say how she feels in the moment;Cary was overly honest; Kam is that she would let things go and stop asking questions,;Brandi would like a do-over with calling Kam a liar at the reunion;  D’Andra would speak kinder and be a gentler person; and LeeAnne would do a lot different but is going to continue her better person journey. D’Andra sincerely apologizes to LeeAnne for her behavior and LeeAnne says she misses protecting D’Andra. They do a “spitfire” group shot (Tequila and Fireball) to end the reunion-and so ends our Season 3 Dallas journey.

Thank you all SO MUCH for reading and commenting every week. And of course I owe it all to Tamara for allowing this upstart blogger to jump in and recap every week. I love you TT and will forever be grateful for this opportunity and your friendship.  If our fabulous leader allows, I hope to be back next season!! Sending y’all so much love and wishes for a wonderful holiday season!

I really, really detest Brandi. She’s nothing but a drama queen and trouble maker. She should be thankful every single day that she has a friend like Stephanie. I’d love to see more of Stephanie and her sweet and funny self. Thank you for the recaps!

I agree! I think the only reason Brandi befriended D’Andra was to get between her and LeeAnn. I think LeeAnn was hurt and a little jealous. Brandi is a rat and doesn’t seem to want any of the ladies to be friends with LeeAnn. I don’t think Kam is afraid of anyone.
I like all the ladies except for Brandi and D’Andra.

I agree about Brandi. I think she’s the manipulative one. Leeanne is so obvious with anything she’s trying to do, but Brandi is calculating AF. Stephanie seems like a really nice person and hanging out with Brandi makes Brandi seem like a better person than she is. If Brandi ever stops talking to her again, Stephanie should just forget her because Brandi needs Stephanie more than Stephanie needs Brandi.

I looooove Kam so hard. She’s my favorite housewife from any franchise at any time.

I like Kam too. Out of all the housewives, she is the one I relate to the most, for better and worse lol. I know people are hot or cold with her, and I completely get why, but I don’t think she’s a bad person or ever comes from a bad place.

I think Brandi brings *something* to the show but her little miss innocent act is running thin. She’s been a nippy little gnat most of this season and deserves the exact same treatment as LeeAnne. Its not fair they constantly call Lee out on her antics, yet Brandi gets a get out of jail free pass for starting shit… because she added to her brood? I just hope if she’s back next season she has a better attitude.

Tamara.. THANK YOU!! My mind was blowing watching this reunion and i needed to scream!! Your perfect blog gives me the space to do that haha. DANDRA IS HORRIBLE. Omg i don’t even care about sides or any other housewife, dandra is literally the worst. She’s the worst case definition of the second season fame bug and thought she was the star.. it’s literally so sad and pathetic to watch. I don’t even like Kameron and believe every word she says about Dandra. I hope they fire her.. literally my least favorite ever (and i despise Teresa) because of how desparatee and transparent she is.. it’s craazzyyy. Phew. Thanks for letting me rant.

There is something “off” with D’Andra. I wanted to believe the bizarre things she says and does are for the show or storyline, but if you read or listen to any interviews she’s given, she says a lot of things that either make no sense or are clearly lies…but she seems to believe them. I almost kind of feel bad for her.

That is wiwrd thing to miss, how anout , the way we laughed together or, had each others back… I’d be curious to find out more if their past dysfunctional friendship, haha. I keep feeling like D’andre has mare and more laters of nutbag that have yet to be revealed.

That comment stuck out to me, too. It just always seems like LeeAnne finds a way to make everything about her while looking like she is being oh so kind and caring. She’s a tricky one for me because there are a lot of aspects of her personality that I actually like, but then there’s the other side that I wouldn’t go near with a ten foot pole. She seems to have a lot of issues about her upbringing, so maybe that contributes to the things she does. Idk. She just always seems to be playing the victim or the hero. There doesn’t seem to be any in between with her.

Thanks for the recaps PCK. It’s snobbery Kam, not society. And you are the poster child for abject snobbery and shallowness. And boring. You are really boring and judgey. I don’t think she is a good fit other than being Lee Ann’s moral authority. Yeah, D’Andra was a little extra for her second season but I’m okay with it. Lee Ann is still a deep-seated nutjob. Brandi is a chihuahua, she just makes a lot of noise and sometimes bites. I can do without seeing Mr. Roundup naked ever again or on my tv screen. I like Stephanie. She is truly a good person who is trying to grow as she navigates the crazy world of the Dallas upper class, but is running out of a story line. I do like this show.

D’andra is delusional and mean spirited.

Thanks so much for recapping this season and I agree with the above statement – TT, keep her on. Meanwhile back at the ranch… Andy isn’t getting rid of D’Andrea cuz he likes Mama Dee who just loved her 5 minutes of fame on the reunion. So D’Andrea had a coke problem and spent 3 months in rehab in Tijuana… no wonder LeeAnne was concerned about her sudden drinking. She is an addict, will always be an addict and therefore has to watch her behavior. But she seems to be the type of person who needs a babysitter (even at 50) which means she was spoiled, coddled and taken care of her whole life. Now this explains a lot about her behavior and talking over people and flying off the handle over nothing. She needs to go get a “real” job and actually work for a living instead of looking for the ugliest clothing in the state of Texas. Brandi is so vile, what rock did she crawl out from to audition for this show? She never grew up. She just yells over people. No wonder she gets along so well with D’Andrea. Steph is fine, Cary was fine (don’t need to see naked bodies anymore of you and your husband tho ever again. Once was enough.) LeeAnne is who she is but she was much softer this season and Kam is a caricature of someone, can’t figure it out yet. That whole “society” thing is beyond ridiculous, haughty and ego driven, it’s nauseating. Who gives a rats ass (no offense to the rats) who married into what family (Kam) or who married into what family (D’Andrea) – you both poop, pee, fart and vomit like everyone else. Get over it.

Kam reminds me of Goldie Hawn on Laugh In. She always pops out of a window with something to say. Sometimes it makes sense but it’s usually just a non-sequitur. But she gets her “Barbie doll” face on TV. So many embarrassing quotes and so little time.

I like this show over the other stale franchises and I think it should get more of a push from bravo. I do think LeeAnn and DeAndra making up will be an obvious plot line for next season. DeAndra’s behavior was very wild and out of character for her this season. It was very revealing to learn about her issues with addiction. It connected the dots for me.

There is nothing new to add about Brandi. WE know she is a liar and she proved to use she is a bit touched in the head. During the reunion, D’Andra was so delusional and over the top theatrical. Her describing LeeAnne as some psycho equivalent to a Hollywood character was so rehearsed and ridiculous. If her and Brandi are so afraid of the resident psycho, then why are they constantly trying to provoke her? I am beginning to believe the rumors that Brandi and D’Andra plotted to get LeeAnne fired, but it all backfired. A person has shared text messages Brandi sent him in 2017 admitted to their plan. Brandi responded and said it was not true, but once again the receipts are real. No response from D’Andra.

I could tell Mama Dee loves LeeAnne and she knows her daughter had a true friend and she misses her friend. That is why she wants them to mend the friendship. She was gracious enough not to say what she really was thinking and that is she doesn’t want a Brandi and D’Andra bestie connection. That diamond and stone comment was meant for Brandi and Kameron. I was surprised she agree with LeeAnne that show has made D’Andra competitive against LeeAnne. Thanks for the recap.

I think the diamond and stone comment only applies to Brandi, and I don’t think Brandi will ever realize that fact. I noticed Mama Dee had a dismissive air about her when patting Brandi’s leg; definitely “Bless your heart” moments. Brandi is Millington trash, and Mama Dee knows it.

Thanks Pop Culture Kelly for your great recaps! I loved watching the show and then reading your assessment. RHOD is the most classically soapy of the RH shows, and the fact that Andy was name-checking old faves like Days of our Lives and All My Children reinforced that.

Was happily surprised by Mama Dee’s appearance, I thought she was coming on to defend her daughter and demean LeeAnne, but she seems to care about LeeAnne and this friendship. I’m not sure it can be entirely restored, but I hope it can a little. Mama Dee is a great matriarch and is probably D’Andra’s best chance of remaining on the show IMO.

Nobody but Kameron called out Brandi on her machinations! I was disappointed. One day maybe.

Then she protested with the story about Rich’s ex wives when LeeAnne said he doesn’t cheat. In other words, D’Andra accused Rich of cheating on LeeAnne…. Repeatedly at that!

Sit the F down D’Andra. This season was a horrible look on you!

Remember Dee asking ‘how are you LA?’ The smart lady went in trying to improve the situation without being disloyal to her daughter. I’m sure she doesn’t want D’A to lose LA as friend. Bravo needs to shake things up if they want us to watch. The shows have always been entertaining but now its strictly drivel. Thank God for RHONY RHOBH & RHONJ . I can always count on them to bring the drama laughs & lifestyles of the semi rich & infamous.

Is this the real her or is something else going on? I didn’t like what I saw this season and not her blogs. If you go too hard after a person, there is no real going back. D’A made that decision.

As a recovering addict, I was really irritated that D’Andra brushed off her addiction saying she ‘got caught up in the wrong crowd’. There’s a thing called accountability thats HUGE in recovery. She acted like some bad people grabbed her and forced her to do drugs and as soon as she got away to Mexico (while it was still safe ew) away from the baddies, voila she was all better. Thank you very much for all of the time and effort you put into this season!!

I laughed just a few days ago because I was talking to myself (in The Voice, of course) saying, “They’re only hands, but they work quite well.” Then that turned into an internal debate as to whether she said “only hands” or “just hands.” Perhaps I need to get a hobby with Jill, but these damned Housewives just bring so much pleasure to my life.
