The Real Housewives of New York all descended on Miami last Sunday to film an Art Basel centered cast trip. Bethenny, Ramona, Sonja, Tinsley, Dorinda, and Luann were joined by their new “friend” on the show Barbara Kavovit to trounce around the beaches and extensive art exhibits. Throngs of art enthusiasts hit Miami this time each year to check out the latest cutting edge designs for the Art Basel festival.
Bethenny was doing a bit of shopping for her bar behind her house in the Hamptons and purchased a custom-made “No Dice” neon sign for her private bar behind her home.

Word is that Ramonja is a thing again this season and these two are back thick as thieves. However on the Friday night before they left Ramona was papped with her tongue down Harry Dubin’s throat. The photos are on TMZ. I am not posting them here because I already wish I could unsee what I saw so don’t say I didn’t warn you. It’s likely that Sonja won’t find out about this until today in Miami. Ramona has no shame in going after Tom and Harry after they’ve had relations with other housewives. This could put a spark in the RHONY trip to Miami!
The #RHONY cast and crew are set to return to frozen tundra of NYC again on Friday. I’m told that Bethenny and Barbara hit it off pretty good this season as two serious business women but I am not sure that is actually true. If I had to bet on it, I’d suspect there is tension there as both are extremely successful and competitive. That’s just my speculation the word is they get along well.
Although multiple sites report that Jill Zarin is returning this season, she is only on two episodes that I know of and is simply an occasional guest.
RHONY is my favorite franchise and I am so excited to see this trip. Luann is doing a ton of Christmas cabaret shows this season so I am sure we will be seeing a lot of those too. Her venues keep getting larger and she just keeps selling out! JOVANI!
I would think that LuAnn would avoid South Florida like the plague during the month of December.
Well, as long as Luann stays south of Fort Lauderdale, she might make it. #PleaseDearLordNoMorePalmBeachArrests
How is that racism? Look at the demographics of Miami-Dade County.
Or are facts considered racist? Hialeah is the largest Spanish city in the world outside of a Spanish country.
Miami and Palm Beach are two different countries. Miami is literally another country.
Another “country” ¿Por qué? 🤔🤔🤔 Do I smell racism?
Oh stop. You can’t get a job in Miami unless you speak spanish. It’s not racism, it’s a fact.
What’s wrong with speaking Spanish? No offence to any of y’all, but you’re a land of immigrants. Embrace it 😁
So excited for the new season 😊
I’m also excited for RHONY’s return next spring. While I’m still a little bummed that Carole is no longer in the mix, I’m more than willing to give the new season a chance. So far I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the cast shakeups at RHOC and RHOA, and I’m really interested to see how Barbara Kavovit fits into the cast.
The best franchise! Best cast !!!
Countess Lu singing “Santa Baby” off key in her sold out shows must make Ramona go nuts… I love it!!!
I can’t walk down the street this week without running into a celeb that is here for Basel. It’s a stupidly expensive event.
I’m all IN for this season! I I think the current cast is perfect! Does anyone on here know if Tinsley and Scott are still together? She’s been pretty quiet on social media. Ramona is the OG who is so desperate that she will settle for sloppy 10ths…..ewwww. Yes, Sonja is totally delusional but I love her!
TT you were right; never should have seen the pic on TMZ, yuck!!!
I too am looking forward to new season…NYC is the only one I watch anymore.
This second opinion that I should not look made me look. I had to. WARNING for any others who are tempted. They literally look like they are throwing up in each other’s mouths. So I guess Mario isn’t back.
You cannot UNSEE that photo of Ramona and Harry. It looked like he was sucking her face into his mouth. Maybe that was the only way he could get her to stop talking? Totally gross and now I have an upset stomach. They should have a “reveal” on those type of images lmao!
NO ONE EVER LISTENS TO ME! lol I tried to warn y’all!
note to self: listen to TT when she tells you NOT to look.
i need eye bleach.
I’m not looking.
Ok-now I’m DYING to but I won’t!! Harry Dubin? Just his name alone . . .
Saw Ramona’s make-out pic this am. Ugh!
Cant unsee
I WILL NOT be looking at the Ramona pics, thanks for the warning. (This from a person who was pissed her boyfriend deleted some sexy time photos of a woman and a pig before she could see them.)
Three friends lost three houses and everything but their dog in the Paradise Camp Fire, so I was really hoping that Beth was not going to be one of those celebs who rushes off to foreign countries and doesn’t help Americans. THEN … SHE WENT TO PARADISE AND HANDED OUT GIFT CARDS. I liked Beth before, now I love her forever.
Bethanny went to Texas, North Carolina, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands for their disasters. All these places are in the US.
This is one cast where I hope they don’t try to lower the average age too much. The older ones are the right mix of witty and goofy. The younger ones they’ve introduced in the past (and dropped after a season or two) were generally bland AF and didn’t bring much to the show. I’d rather watch Carole trying to cling onto youth than have another “youngun” like Tinsley. Beauty fades, dumb is forever.
This and BH are the only Bravo shows still on my DVR, thanks for the tea! Excited!!! Oops forgot about VR! So 3 trash box shows
Love this franchise! I love the featured print too and I’m trying to think of a spot for it so I can buy it. Bethenny looks great in that photo too. Love the skirt. She looks happy and healthy. Can’t wait for spring!
I think the last time Bravo sent anyone to Miami for Art Basel was several years ago when they had show called Gallery Girls. I can’t wait to see the RHONY tear through the art there.
Luann and Bethenny went in season 7 (Victoria was showing) but Gallery Girls did Art Basel best. Gah, I miss that show.
I forgot about Lu & Bethenny going there. I liked Gallery Girls.
OMG, I was just thinking about “Gallery Girls” the other day.
Chantal and her glottal fry were…quite something.
Love you T – all you bits of info are always on point!!!!
oh god. Art Basel is like so 7 years ago.
And people who purchase custom fucking ‘dice’ do not belong anywhere near art, even the contemporary crap they peddle in Miami every year.
Where’d they stay?
I just checked – make that 12 years ago.
I lived in Miami my entire life. There are areas that are almost 100% Spanish speaking- businesses, schools, neighborhoods etc. There are also areas that are evenly blended and areas that are very “Middle America”. There is extreme city life and a 30-40 min drive away you can be in farmland. It’s an amazing city of diversity and culture. Just be as accepting of others as you want others to be of you.
I was so happy there. The people that live there are so cool. I got homesick & missed my family otherwise I would still be there ! Agree with your entire post. Happy Holidays.
We don’t want a flock of Massholes moving in either.
As a gay man who loves books music & art history I will never venture far from Massachusetts. But God willing if you end up in Guam this twin flame would love to visit. xo Marc
If there are entire cities where people speak only Spanish then it is certainly like a different country there. The English speaking people were all displaced. That is what is happening here in the barrio. Half the signs in the old Publix were in Spanish to the exclusion of English. We could not buy a lot of southern foods because they were replaced with Mexican ones. My family has owned property here for 75 years. There are SUR 13 gang tags on any wooden fences that go up. Guns are shot into the air on any holiday, and random weekends. There is lot of Mexican on Mexican crime because many are illegal and don’t keep bank accounts and instead have their money in their houses or in there very out of place in the hood Hummers.
It’s very much becoming another country here.
” We could not buy a lot of southern foods because they were replaced with Mexican ones”
Neither can we here on the NC coast….I began to notice years ago when I could no longer find pickled peaches for thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.
And all the little good ole local home cooking southern restaurants have disappeared too,,,,,replaced by taco and Asian and chain restaurants. There is one left about 30 miles from me so every week or so I go and get some country style steak and chicken pastry and pan fried pork chops with collards dinners. to get me thru a day or two.
Spent 1 year living in MiamiThe artist & entire art community is bohemian ethnic & cool. I also witnessed a Santaria ritual that blew my mind. Miami is filled to the brim with culture. If you travel to Miami with an open heart you will be embraced. If you go in with an elitist attitudes regarding the state of Florida then stay home.
Marc- you said it perfectly!
Thanks Kerry. Miami opened me up to so many possibilities. The place I lived was all Cuban people & I was embraced by all. I was fortunate enough to obtain 2 down syndrome twin clients to work with & it really helped to use the pool the ocean & the sites as my own personal special needs classroom. If I wasn’t such a mama’s boy I would have never left. Miami is more than night clubs & hedonism. It’s an oasis of history & pleasure. Highly recommended & extremely affordable.
Ha. It’s all very culturally enlightening until your culture is obliterated. It’s not so cute then.
I learned more in Miami about living life in the moment than my entire life in Massachusetts. Miami is rich in architecture. I was walking thru churches museums & the beautiful beaches enthralled by its beauty. The best year of my life.
Exactly…..it is more than sad.
A French writer Jean Francois Revel once wrote, (referring to how countries are subverted and taken over by others) ;
“Clearly, a civilization that feels guilty for everything it is and does will lack the energy and conviction to defend itself.”
I think that can be applied to culture, which food is a part of, also ,
TT – I agree with you. The house where I was born in 1971 the entire block spoke english and we knew all of our neighbors names. When we moved in 1992 we were the last english speakers and no one knew the names of any one on our block. The whole sense of a community was lost. Everyone was out for themselves. Instead of exchanging “Hellos” or even
“Holas” everyone was giving the side eye.
I’m still confused as to why we have to suffer through boring ass Tinsley for another year? It’s New York! There are countless more interesting women!
