Well Happy Thanksgiving Eve y’all!! We’re back with our Dallas ladies and OH GOODY! Brandi is still drunk and angry. She tells LeeAnne straight to her face that she despises her and calls the group fake bitches. LeeAnne is in tears and Brandi storms off. Stephanie wants to chase after her but the group keeps her there. Brandi tries to call Steph, who doesn’t answer. Brandi then calls D’Andra who answers, and D’Andra goes to her. LeeAnne takes that as D’Andra choosing sides which I don’t agree with but whatever. Cary and Kam continue to eat and not get caught up in the drama which makes this entire episode worth it already! Yaaaaas ladies! D’Andra and Steph go to Brandi and they apologize to Brandi for not having her back. It’s a bizarre scene to me because Steph looks so fearful and Brandi looks too calm and collected. It’s strange. Cary can’t wait for the ladies to get out of Copenhagen the following day so she can enjoy non-screaming dinners with Mark and Zuri.
The ladies return home and LeeAnne is preparing for her first fashion show to launch her “L Infinity Dress”. You can wear 1 dress 175 different ways! TT was on board early with it, I’m a slow warmer to it. Kam goes to visit Cary and brings milkshakes as Kam almost withered away from lack of food in Copenhagen. She only eats American y’all! They rehash the drama of Copenhagen and Kam informs Cary that D’Andra is on “friend probation”.
Phone-gate is getting addressed and as Kam explains it, LeeAnne’s phone went missing at the hotel in Copenhagen for over 2 hours. Brandi claims to have found it down at a bar between couch cushions. LeeAnne then said she cloned Brandi’s phone in retaliation, per Kam. I’m with Cary-who would know how to clone a phone? And what is phone cloning? Kam doesn’t think that LeeAnne did that and neither does Steph. Steph thinks it was more to mess with Brandi’s head, which I would lean towards as well. Cary and Kam are going to LeeAnne’s fashion show and will ask her point blank if she did, indeed, clone Brandi’s phone.
Cary’s parents are coming to visit their own home that Cary and family are staying in while the Deuber home is being built. Her parents are adorable, her mother is on the floor coloring with Zuri while her dad sees all the pictures of the trip. Cary feels the trip to Copenhagen has brought her closer to her dad which is always nice to see. Kam is happy to be home and away from the drama that the ladies had. Court seems apathetic that she’s back, and definitely not happy that Louis the dog is being catered to. Kam wants to find a business partner to share the responsibilities of Sparkle Dog with. She wants to have a life but still have the company. She’s happy to spend less time with Sparkle Dog and more time with her family, and Court is so happy that he’s entertaining the thought of a third child.
It’s the day of LeeAnne’s fashion show and she is so excited. D’Andra and Cary meet up to get glammed together for the big night. D’Andra hasn’t spoken to anyone since returning home, but decides to call Brandi to see what she’s doing. Apparently Brooklyn was so mad at her mother that she destroyed her closet and took Brandi’s phone to school. That is funny I guess? D’Andra gets a good line in when after hearing that, she says “Like mother/like daughter!” Haha. Brandi says she wasn’t invited and is still angry that LeeAnne could have cloned her phone. In her talking head, D’Andra says that LeeAnne asked Rich about phone cloning. It just gets more and more bizarre. Steph sends LeeAnne flowers in lieu of not going to the fashion show, which meant a lot to LeeAnne. It’s Travis’s birthday and if she’s being honest, she doesn’t want to hear about the phone drama so she feels like she dodged a bullet. Cary informs D’Andra that Kam told her that D’Andra is still on friend probation, which sends D’Andra into another fit. Cary says it’s not that deep and it was meant to be funny. Sometimes eating crow is hard.
It’s fashion show time and everyone arrives looking beautiful. D’Andra tells LeeAnne that Jeremy had a prior engagement which LeeAnne says is fine, Rich isn’t there either. D’Andra has a visual reaction but says she won’t say anything. I have to say, I really liked the black on black long sleeved attachment dress. Cary isn’t sold on it, she’s rich enough to buy 175 different dresses. LeeAnne has herself announced at the end of the show as the “Queen Bee” of Dallas then comes down the runway wearing a white dress and veil. They are both shots at D’Andra, which she doesn’t take too kindly to.
At home with cutie pie Bruin, Brandi calls her mom to tell her that LeeAnne cloned her phone. Her mom is upset for her and says LeeAnne is full of sh*t, which Brandi’s youngest daughter says she’s “always full of”. LeeAnne is celebrating a successful show greeting all of her friends who came to see it. Kam, Cary and D’Andra are talking about phone gate when LeeAnne walks over to them. D’Andra says that she’s happy to be there and would have been there whether they were speaking or not. LeeAnne says no, I wouldn’t have invited you. Eeek, that’s a low blow.
LeeAnne says they’re like sister and that’s how they argue. LeeAnne admits that she didn’t clone Brandi’s phone and that it was a joke. LeeAnne feels that no one holds Brandi accountable for what she does but always holds LeeAnne accountable. LeeAnne feels like since Brandi stole her phone, she deserved the cloning retaliation. D’Andra feels like LeeAnne is going back to her old habits and hasn’t changed.
Next week’s season finale: LeeAnne and Rich prepare for the wedding, Steph has a frat party to send Travis off to Harvard, Brandi fights with Kam and also LeeAnne-she really gets in LeeAnne’s face which prompts LeeAnne to poke Brandi in the chest. I’m exhausted y’all! It was a lot to take in. I want to wish you all a VERY HAPPY THANKSGIVING.
