There is literally nothing going on today so I suppose I will get this Teen Mom recap up and then stop waiting on stories. This of course insures that fifty million things will happen when I stop watching for news.
All the girls are headed to NYC for press week and Cheyenne is worried that no one will like her. Dakota says that his two year old said she was mad at him for stealing mama’s money. Apparently, his divorce attorney deposited money into the wrong account and things were quickly rectified, but not before Bristol tried to put Dakota in jail for 18 months and badmouthing him to the children.
In NYC the OGs are concerned about the new girls fitting in. Amber is particularly huffy toward the beleaguered producer, Larry. The OGs were pissed they basically found out from the media about the two new girls. Then there were stories run saying they were pissed about the new girls and just wanted to go on with the three of them.
Tyler meets with his mother who is going to watch Nova while he goes to visit Butch in Texas. Tyler tells his mom that he is not going to support his sister with her addiction issues. Good for him. His mom thinks he needs to be more supportive. How many people in the family does Tyler have to support?
Tyler arrives at Butch’s new sober living home in Texas and it’s a really nice house. Butch is thrilled to have a driver’s license for the first time in around thirty years. Butch says that Tyler’s sister is broken over the whole rehab thing. He says she didn’t look good. Tyler says he is over his sister.
Back in NYC, Bristol is talking to a friend in the park about Dakota “stealing money” from her. She says it is costing her thousands of dollars to “prove her point.” Her children will be able to watch these shows one day and she doesn’t come across as the parent trying to make thing easier for everyone. She’s vindictive. Bristol telling the decorated war hero to grow up irks me.
I guess the NYC filming went fine. We didn’t see a ton of communication with the girls but what little we did see seemed fine..
In Gary’s ongoing search for his father, the investigator suggested that it is possible his half-brother could be his full brother and his mother is just not copping to it. So they go off to one of those ANY LAB TEST places. I’m curious. Could I go there and get like a thyroid test without a doctors orders? Has anyone ever been to those places? I’ve only gone to them for drug tests for new employment. As it turns out, Gary finds out his half-brother is NOT his full brother. Gary feels like he has no other people to consider and there is an option or two who are already dead.
Maci seems to have a lot of nice normal girlfriends. Amber hasn’t been feeling well and decides to take a pregnancy test. Thankfully, she is not pregnant. Andrew wants more kids. Amber does not.
This was an episode I kept waiting for it to start, and then it was over.
