Brooklyn Doris Daly has arrived, y’all! Kenya just posted on Instagram!
Kenya says, “She’s so perfect and strong! Marc was incredible in the delivery room. I lost a lot of blood so I’m very weak but they both were strong for me. God is so good. We are blessed and doing well.
My heart is so full at the abundance of love for our family! We love you all.”
Brooklyn was born at 9:39 a.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 4. She weighs 5 lbs. and 12 oz and is “very alert and active” according to People.
The name Brooklyn has been floating around for a couple of months now and it was intended for either a girl or a boy. The middle name Doris, honors Kenya’s grandmother who raised her.
There are no photos yet and the baby is likely in NICU due to the low birth weight and preeclampsia. People says it was an “emergency C section.” Kenya has been in the hospital since at least Saturday.
I guess that baby didn’t want to miss the premiere of RHOA tonight!
Oh I am so happy for Kenya!! If watch what happens is live tonight, I hope Andy mentions this and gives her the Mazel!!! Also so glad this happy event can shut up the haters who said she was not pregnant. Looking at you Zolziak among others!!
Aw don’t bring that negative Nelly into this news. Leave her in obscurity with the un-aired eps of DBT lol.
Congratulations to Kenya, Marc & Brooklyn!!
Congratulations Kenya and Marc!
She wanted this so much and finally this day came. Hope her stay is short at the hospital and they can go home and enjoy their new bundle of love.
Wonderful news! Congratulations to the new family!
Wonderful news. Welcome, Brooklyn. So sweet she gave her the middle name Doris after her mom/grandmother. The baby will be a real cutie pie.
Yes ! Great to hear ! So HAPPY for Kenya & Marc Daly.
CONGRATULATIONS Kenya and Marc. Such an Iconic Queen, only Kenya’s baby would come out of the womb petty and shady as can be. Kenya’s delivery news is everywhere, no one cares about RHOA premiere. Lol even Andy Cohen is trying to ride Kenya’s coattails by sending “congratulations. I love that Kenya always wins, she plays chess while they play checkers. What a beautiful name for what I’m sure is a gorgeous baby girl. I wonder how many times Kenya will be brought up on WWHL tonight…
“Kenya” may be the secret word tonight!
Shadiest Grove – I don’t understand your comment “only Kenya’s baby would come out of the womb petty and shady as can be”. The rest of your post is very sweet, so I don’t imagine it was meant in a negative way, and it could very well be that I’m just being obtuse. Could you, or someone else explain it to me?
That comment threw me also EnglishRose. I am going UH?
Such a gorgeous and meaningful name. Congrats to Kenya and Marc!
Karma, for bravo! Season 11 and all i want to know about is Kenya, eho i will admit i have a love hate relationship with, when she is fun i love her, when she is judging and mean i want to slap her, but i prefer the season with her.
Congrats to the beautiful family! Brooklyn is such a cute name!
Yay🤗. This is a real blessing. This little girl will have so much love & a beautiful life. Congrats to the Daly’s!
Yasss !!!! Congratulations to Kenya & Marc. I kept checking this site more than 5x looking for news update. I can now go to bed. Its been a long day and will catch on Rhoa review in the morning. Thanks TT for all you do.
She revealed her pregnancy at the reunion and she gives birth on the season premiere. Lol. Congrats to her and her family
Season premiere? Ugh, really? I thought Jersey was next on the schedule (ugh, too).
Great news! I hope she takes the time to heal properly and just stay home and enjoy. Let others spoil her.
Brooklyn Doris, eh?
Fake baby!
Lol.
I really wish you retards would know and understand where you’re welcome in order to join your own kind. Kenya is loved here dumbass. This is a joyous occasion, you bitches will not ruin it.
Based on his LOL, I THINK Jim’s LOL was meant to be tongue-in-cheek.
A problem with text, sarcasm can be hard to catch, or NOT sarcasm may be assumed. Just sayin’.
How lovely. When are you due?
Liar, Liar pants on fire!
You are right GLH, I should not mention that horrid woman. Thrilled for Kenya, Marc and I am sure their utterly gorgeous baby girl!!
I’m doing my happy dance!
Congratulations! Wishes of health, happiness and great fortune. Well done you, Kenya
I am positive the baby pics will be awesome! so the little nugget is 5 pounds, is this type of delivery the
same category as a “preemie”?
A baby is a preemie if it is born three weeks or more before the due date. It would be close. But the baby being almost six pounds is a good thing.
thanks for that info.
The weight is low, but the issue with babies like Brooklyn is the development of the lungs. They are lastnto develop so early babies have a tough time breathing in their own.
When I had my emergency C-section, it was classified that way because I had preeclampsia and was not to full term NOT because it was a “rushed hurried do it now” emergency. In fact, the c-section was delayed for 48 hours while I received a series of steroid shots which would help the babies (twins) lungs develop. I then had an amniocentesis to verify lung function and once the results came back good, we did the csection. In my case the csection was done because, due to my preeclampsia, the babies were not growing as they should and the risk to my life was no longer less than the benefit to the babies.
My new great-grandson was 6 lbs. 8 ounces, and is the tiniest, cutest little thing you’ve ever seen, so I can’t imagine how little Kenya’s baby is. Love and very best wishes to her and Marc.
What a blessing. Love the little girl’s middle name too.
Poor Kenya with an emergency c-section. I hope she didn’t suffer through a long labor first.
Wonderful news! Miracle baby, miracle marriage — so sad we won’t be able to watch the Daly family on RHOA. All of Kenya’s happiness would have been such a delight to witness.
Will NeNe send a FTD Teddy Bear Floral Basket? #sherealthirsty 😂
Maybe she will send a Rinna BUNNY!
Congratulations to the Daly family! What a shame they won’t be on RHOA this season. I’ll be skipping this season and hoping she’s back for the next.
I hope baby and mama will be safe at home soon.
And MAZEL to TT for the scoops and to Instagram for allowing us visual access to Queen Kenya through this blessed (not bless ED) journey.
And JACKHOLE to Phaedra who had to see her hateful words to Kenya twist — “no husband and no baby.” Who’se crying now bitch!?
This warms my heart so much! It’s so wonderful to see her dreams have come true!
I’m so happy for Kenya and her new little blessing!
I am also watching The Kardashians because I think Khloe is having her baby on tonight’s episode. Two beautiful people who will make really good mothers.
Bless your heart
Lol
JustJenn, You are so stupid. CMBB
JustJenn, Sorry, I thought you were someone else, whom I was replying too. I had a little drink about an hour ago and it went straight to my head. Sorry, please my apology.
Congratulations to The Dalys!!!
I’m so happy for them!
Brooklyn Doris Daly. The love behind the name is so beautiful. Always and forever Team Kenya.
I’m happy for her and her family. Great timing, I love that it upstages RHOA -I will not be watching.
Baby Brooklyn will be a show stopper, just like her mom.
It’s a great blessing and they will make great parents.
So happy for Kenya! I have no doubt that little Brooklyn already has a dozen tiny tutus. She’ll be “twirling” before she can walk!
I hope so too. My cousin’s first was born by C-section after over a day of labor (fucking stupid doctor). Baby was like 9 lbs.
3 years later, different city, different doctor – he sits her down and tells her he thinks they should schedule a c-section, that he thinks the baby will be somewhere around 11 lbs. He thought my cousin would fight it (she, during her pregnancy, liked doing things as natural as possible with diet and exercise, and it worked for the most part)
She whipped out her calendar so fast the doc laughed.
She said the difference between an emergency c section after such labor and her body just being worn out from it vs. a well rested planned c-section was night and day. Huge. In pain, pain management, and recovery.
Congrats Kenya and Marc! Her name is so sweet. I’m a sucker for family middle names; I think it’s a southern thing. I agree with everyone who says baby Brooklyn will be gorgeous and strong just like her mom.
You did it Kenya! Made a dream come true. Best wishes to you and your family during this wonderful time. Couldn’t be happier for you.
Congratulations Kenya and Marc.
I’ve been a looong time reader of this blog and even posted comments some years ago as “Lurker”( the original one, LOL).
Being *happy* for Kenya doesn’t even begin to convey my feelings for Kenya Moore today. Yes, I don’t know her and have never met her but sometimes we become invested in other people’s life journeys because of what that journey teaches us all in the end. I have been a fan of hers since that day in 1993 when I saw her win Miss USA.
Thank you Marc for coming into her life when she desparately needed someone like you to love her completely, warts and all. Thank you God for granting her, her wish of motherhood. Please God surround Brooklyn Doris with your Angels granting her a strong and healthy life as well as to Kenya and Marc. Wishing the Dalys all the bliss that they deserve.
Miracle baby with a beautiful name. Your dreams have come true..Kenya. Wishing you, Brooklyn and Marc a beautiful life filled with Happiness, Joy and Love. You deserve it.
HA! Gotta love Comcast cable. When the TV goes into screensaver mode it puts these little news blurbs in the lower right corner. “Kenya Moore gives birth to baby girl Brooklyn Doris Day”. I am an avid lover of typos so this just cracked me up!
Welcome to Earth little Brooklyn. May the angels kiss your forehead each night as you sleep. Congratulations to Kenya and Marc. Now the fun of learning the ins and outs of parenthood begins!
