Well hello y’all!!! We’re back in the saddle for another week of Dallas drama. LeeAnne, Rich and his eye patch go to lunch to discuss wedding plans. Rich is sexy as hell giving off hot pirateness! I don’t care what the streets of Dallas are saying, these two are a cute couple who seem to be really in love. And could possibly, actually, get married.
D’Andra meets with Mama Dee at the office to discuss business. She’s asking Mama Dee for advice on how to not run out of products. Ummm…not to be snide but if you’re taking over a company shouldn’t you know how to make sure the product is available??? Anywho, they move on to a cooking class Mama Dee wants to host with LeeAnne, Kameron and D’Andra. D’Andra isn’t sure if LeeAnne will come due to them being on the outs. D’Andra tells Mama Dee about the fight they had. Mama Dee doesn’t give a DOG’S RIP (my new phrase) about the petty gossip and doesn’t want D’Andra to push LeeAnne anymore. Mama Dee loves LeeAnne and wants D’Andra to back off and let LeeAnne come to her if there are problems. Sound advice Mama Dee!
We go back to LeeAnne and Rich discussing the fight as well and Rich is taken aback at the “living separate lives” comment D’Andra continues to throw around. LeeAnne questions their friendship because D’Andra and Brandi drink and gossip, and most of what Brandi threw at LeeAnne came directly from D’Andra. LeeAnne doesn’t want tell D’Andra things because she doesn’t trust they will stay with D’Andra. LeeAnne doesn’t want to lose their friendship but is hurt by what’s been happening. I know things are contentious now but I am really rooting for them to work this crap out because I do believe they love each other and that their friendship is real
Stephanie’s sister Tiffanie comes to visit and Steph tells her that Travis is going to Harvard for six weeks. She confesses to Tiffanie that she’s nervous about not having Travis around. Tiffany is a teacher and is self sufficient and Stephanie fears paying bills without him there. She and her sister took very different paths indeed.Stephanie recognizes her co-dependency with her friendships and marriage and wants to work on both.</spanBrandi and Bruin meet up with Bryan for lunch. She feels rejuvenated with having the nanny to help out. Brandi feels that her marriage is in a good place so she doesn’t understand why LeeAnne would say that they had the baby to save their marriage. Yes, LeeAnne did use those words but it was in relation to the hurtful gossip of Rich living a seperate life-it was an example of something awful being said- not that it was actually happening. And the spinning continues.
Cary and Mark prepare for the grand opening party of their new laser center. Kam and LeeAnne arrive and Mark greets LeeAnne with a warm hug. She was nervous about seeing him again (rightfully so!) but it goes well. Brandi shows up and neither LeeAnne nor Brandi want to see each other but see each other they must. Mama Dee called LeeAnne to invite her to the cooking party so LeeAnne feels that maybe there can be a resolution with D’Andra. The two go to another room to talk and LeeAnne tells D’Andra that she’s hurt that she spoke to Brandi about her relationship with Rich. She’s asking D’Andra to keep their conversations private and not tell Brandi anything. D’Andra agrees but in her talking head, D’Andra feels that she’s deflecting from some issue. What is the issue you ask? Couldn’t tell ya.
Cary, Kam, Steph and Brandi are talking and Kam asks what happened between Brandi and LeeAnne. Brandi says that she told LeeAnne that she thought she was jealous of D’Andra and D’Andra’s life, the fact that she has a marriage and family. Then Brandi spins LeeAnne’s comment about the baby saving the marriage. OMG. Brandi says that they all agreed to not hit below the belt but LeeAnne and LeeAnne alone did that. The kicker is that Brandi says she’s learned not to do that. If this recap is now all messed up, my eyes rolled back so hard they’re stuck. Sorry! LeeAnne tells D’Andra that she tends to drink a lot with Brandi which D’Andra denies vehemently. She asks if LeeAnne thinks she has a drinking problem. Uh oh.
D’Andra gets really upset about that comment and LeeAnne says that in the past, D’Andra has struggled with alcohol so she’s concerned that they drink a lot together. D’Andra excuses herself when Kam comes in. Kam tells LeeAnne what Brandi said and Kam can see how the shit gets shaken and stirred with Brandi! LeeAnne tells her the actual version of events which now makes sense to Kam. D’Andra goes out to the party and sits with Brandi and Steph. Of course she goes out and tells them that LeeAnne called her an alcoholic.D’Andra’s dad was an alcoholic and committed suicide when he was drunk. My heart hurts for her with what happened but I don’t get why this is happening with LeeAnne, honestly. Cary asks her point blank if LeeAnne called her an alcoholic and she said no. Cary thinks it’s a misunderstanding and Brandi is gloating.
LeeAnne confronts Brandi with the actual version of what happened and Brandi will not see it. Things start to get heated and Cary asks them to take it elsewhere. Steph can see both sides and can see how both could be wrong. Brandi and Steph leave in the same car and Brandi tells Steph that LeeAnne hasn’t changed and that she’s only using Steph to get to Brandi and is pretending to be her friend. Wow
So next week the cooking class happens and Kam tells D’Andra that LeeAnne is trying to protect her. I’m going to go watch my Red Sox (HOPEFULLY!) win but I’ll be checking in on the comments to see what you all are thinking: TeamBrandi or TeamLeanne?
