Well if you haven’t heard, this is likely the last season of this series. So here we go. Also, I have been drinking cheap champagne and this will be a really weird recap because I’ve felt like shit all day with some sort of sinus infection or something. I’ll try to make it nice in case this is somehow my final blog and people are all like… “WHY DIDN’T THAT BITCH EVER FUCKING PROOFREAD HER BLOGS?” The answer is, “I REALLY like how much it annoys you that I don’t! ZERO, ZERO, NOT ONE!
Anyway, I think this is the beginning of the end for this show and I can barely watch I love it so much. Whenever people here say they hate Jeff Lewis and Bethenny, I know they would hate me too. It’s clear they are a type, and perhaps a mental diagnosis, but I am the same one without all the money. So I get them.
This is a sad episode where Jeff’s mom is in the hospital with a broken hip. Fortunately, she fell outside. and her dog Lucy alerted the neighbor. After a week, she goes to a nursing home. She’s 92. Jenni is supportive.
Paul is lying to Jeff about when he gets to Valley Vista. He has a short fuse. Jeff gives him a schedule. Paul sort of admits that he lies. Meanwhile, Jeff’s grandma is cranky and refusing treatment. Maybe she thinks 92 years is long enough? Gage sees this as a major tailspin. Why doesn’t Jenni? Was this just too far for her? She seems to be really helping him.
Meanwhile, Gage tries to say something, I presume is about the insane neighbor and Jeff can’t take anymore. Then when he leaves with Jenni he goes off on her too. Really? Is this whole thing about his grandmother dying because if it is Bravo sucks and so does Jenni. I don’t care how bad he gets. She’s like the mother he never had.
Monroe is adorable and a little firecracker. I wonder where she gets it from? Gage is great with Jeff and Monroe at this time.
Next we see Jeff in the car with Meghan and Tyler and no Jenni.
Paul is going to get fired this episode. BTW Old Hollywood is done and on the market for just under 8 Million if I remember correctly. Don’t rely on my memory though, EVER.
I am sad that Lucy is going to training camp “to be more adoptable” after she saved Jeff’s grandma’s life. Gage tells Jenni that Jeff is not doing well. She told him she is ready to move on to the afterlife. So fucking sad. How can you fire a man or bring charges against him or hold anything against him while he is in this state? You KNOW WHO HE IS. His grandmother is rejecting all treatment. It’s so sad.
Jeff calls Jenni to help move his grandma into hospice care. I am seriously thinking of stopping this recap here. It’s so fucking sad. Jeff struggles with the decision. I wish they did not air this. It’s heartbreaking. Jeff and Jenni brought flowers and photos and things to fancy up the room. They video chat with Monroe. My heart is breaking.
I really do not even care about Valley Vista. And yet we are here. Jeff loses his mind over the refrigerator. Frankie and Paul are both going to be fired. Mostly. Paul who takes a lunch break to eat strawberries while Jeff and Jenni are doing manual labor. PLEASE REMIND ME AGAIN HOW JENNI DOESN’T REALLY WORK THERE AFTER THIS EPISODE. Her paycheck changed to someone who would pay her more and Jeff opted not too put her on his payroll anymore. That’s it. Calm the fuck down. I am watching her work every week!
Gage gets Monroe a swim instructor. She loves the pool.
Jeff is in hospice and going to die. He needs good flowers. He is planning the funeral. I hate this. Mostly because a gay man is letting a straight woman be in charge of the flowers. I could do it, but he could do it better.
I understand everything is doing so much.
Jeff fires Paul. It ends with looking like he might fire Paulie too. I don’t he will. But we shall see…
