Apparently we had an Amber Alert or something at 10 pm because this show didn’t start recording until 10:05 and the start time is both 10:05 and 7 pm. I’ve never seen this happen before. Also, I am allergic to October from dusk until morning. I can’t stop sneezing and my eyes, ears, nose, and throat are all itching like crazy. I maybe dying.
Jeff is yelling at Gage about one of the jobs and won’t answer his questions about the timeline on a project. Probably Valley Vista because I am sure Gage is sick of Jeff’s OCD causing him to rip everything out and start over when anything is less than perfect. Jeff storms off so he doesn’t wake up the baby and Gage seethes silently saying he doesn’t want to do this anymore and he thinks he’s just done. Well this is not a great start. Apparently a lot happened in the first five minutes. Y’all will have to fill me in.
Jenni catches up to Jeff and goes with him to… I presume one of the properties. She tells Jeff that Gage was about to lose it when they left. Jeff doesn’t care. He should because I’ve never seen Gage like that.
Jeff goes to Valley Vista to micromanage. Jenni lists off several famous people who used to own Valley Vista. I have a headache. I may be dying y’all.
Jeff and Gage are working with a client that previous fired them and then regretted it. So they are back on a month to month basis. Jeff is also waiting for them to fire him again.
Everyone goes to Old Hollywood. Gage is in charge of this remodel. Jeff is in charge of Valley View. Jeff can’t keep his nose out of Old Hollywood and just leave Gage alone. The next time we see them come to work in the office. Jeff says he hasn’t had a drink in two days. HA! I haven’t had one in 31 but I could have one at any moment at this point. I have Merlot calling my name. I am not losing any weight because I’ve been eating sugar instead, so it is starting to seem rather pointless. I just traded one type of empty calories for another.
The inspector at Valley View continues to be a thorn in Jeff’s side. He says to do one thing and he does and then the next time he comes he denies saying it and says it has to be changed. Jeff is pissed at Frankie again. He wants him to manage the project without making any decisions.
Jeff goes to visit his grandmother. Jenni tells us what a great job Jeff does taking care of his grandmother. He even sends someone to her house to do her hair and nails every two weeks. Jeff says he is her favorite. He is painting the outside of the house. Jeff has literally fifty shades of gray. She doesn’t like gray. She wants green. Sadly, his grandmother died recently.
Jeff asks Jenni what her last fight with her husband was. She says he told her she was nagging him about something. This was just a conversational stepping stone for Jeff to complain about Gage messing up the house on Sundays when they don’t have any help. Oh the horror! How much mess can Gage, who seems very anal retentive (but not in a Jeff way) possibly make on a Sunday? This leads to Jeff and Jenni one upping each other about whose partner is most annoying. Tyler looks like he is praying for death to take him.
It’s been raining in LA and Old Hollywood keeps flooding because there is no roof. Back a Valley Vista they got a new inspector to replace the older gent with memory problems. Jeff even says that Frankie did a good job.
Gage has gone crazy at Ralph Lauren buying clothes for Monroe. Jeff says Gage doesn’t take into consideration that Monroe is going to grow before the next season. Gage tells us that you can’t let Jeff know anything, like shopping for Monroe, brings him joy or he will attack it.
Oh YAY! We get to go back to the appliance store. The new/old client needs all new stuff. They have two kitchens. One “dirty kitchen” for actual use, and another kitchen that they literally will not use.
Oh WOW! Carson Kressley finally got a new show on Bravo,Get a Room! With Carson & Thom! They are interior designers doing one room makeovers for people. I wish they would come to my house! ! I am all in! Thom is also from Queer Eye. The show will be on Fridays which is great for my recapping schedule. It starts a week from Friday.
Oh no, does Jeff’s grandma die during filming? It looks like something happened to her on the next episode. I checked the episode guide for next week and it says she was rushed to the hospital and that Jeff starts taking things out on the employees and starts to consider who should stay on the payroll. Frankie and Paul are getting the brunt of it but he screams at Jenni too. That is episode six. By episode 8 things go to hell with Jenni and Jeff. Things are starting to make sense.
10 minutes into the rebroadcast & Jeff is being a maniac. You didn’t miss anything. Jeff came in hot & fighting dirty with Gage about all his shortcomings. Same old same old.
Thanks, twin.
Feel better. Get some rest.
What is it with October and allergies! Mine are a mess!
Queen Eye was my gateway show on Bravo…I remember telling people about the show and the network and people sniffing, “huh, never heard of it.” I can’t wait to see Get a Room!
I haven’t watched this episode, off TV until late next week, thank goodness for your recaps. I hate it when Jeff becomes the human flamethrower, it’s always pretty hurtful and uncomfortable to watch. I’m glad Jeff was so supportive of his Grandma, that is one thing he’ll never regret.
My allergy is wacked, because of ragweed and elm. No sure if that is the culprit where you live, but Autumn usher in ragweed and elm in Texas. Allergen are at its peak in the morning so I take meds just before dozing off to sleep. It works for me. I hope feel better soon.
I tried to get into Flipping Out this season, but Like RHOOC I can’t get through a full episode. Jeff was on the verbal assignation attack again. I read the recap to fill in the missing gap. I hope you feel better soon.
Y’all have to get that decongestant from behind the pharmacy counter. Mucinex brand! It will knock that crap right out of you.
Feel better everybody
🙂 Thanks
OT- Joe Giudice ordered to be deported, just like you were saying T.
I don’t like this show anymore. Jeff is just mean, plain and simple. The constant fighting and stress gives me anxiety. I hope his surrogate wins her lawsuit. I don’t care for Gage much either. I rather doubt Monroe will grow up with that relationship intact.
I love Jeff, and absolutely adore Gage. Jeff is OCD and doesn’t apologize for it, I used to work for a guy just like him in Beverly Hills. He rehabbed apartment buildings (top to bottom) and like Jeff, he stopped everything and redid anything that was so much as an inch off. He could afford it and was great to work for, but unfortunately he, like Jeff, was an “all of nothing at all” kind of employer. I loved working for the guy, but ran out of steam. The job became too demanding for me. He was the same way at home and was very happily married, his wife and children loved him very much plus they just got him, and learned to live with his brand of crazy.
The guy in the picture is Kyle, right?
He looks like a toddler with a beard.
I like seeing everyone else’s faces when Jeff is being an asshole.
Seems real when people are all throwing each other looks.
His name is Tyler. He’s the newest fetch and step boy this season.
Oh, Jeffrey. I am going to focus on the kindness that he has always shown to his grandmother. He has always seen to all her care, and visited her, and sent Zoila to her house to help. I do wish he would be kinder to Gage. They need to have a “united front” for Monroe. And for Goodness sake, let Gage buy Monroe as many cute outfits as he wants! This stage of her life flies by so fast, enjoy it all!
I used to love this show. Now, I think it’s incredibly fake. It all seems like acting. I’m
It’s not faker than it has ever been. Which is the least fake show on Bravo. Jeff saying he doessn’t pay Jenni anymore because she is paid by the show and she doesn’t need to work there full time anymore is not NEWS. It’s just him being a dick.
I noticed her Executive Producer credit.
TT I hope you are all well clear of the hurricane. Was hoping Banjo recovered from his “walk”?
Thanks! We are both doing well. Beautiful day today since the storm cleaned the sky all night,
I only watch for Monroe. She’s precious!
