Well hello y’all! We’re back for another week of Dallas craziness. Before I begin the recap, I just wanted to take a moment to express my condolences to the family and friends of Donna Alexander, owner of the Anger Room, who passed away last week. Please click here to read TT’s post on her and have tissues handy. May she RIP.
We begin with Kam having her kids learn Spanish. They make cupcakes and that’s about all that happens there.
D’Andra’s stepson Koen is home and she feels like they’re getting closer. Mama Dee comes over for a business meeting and D’Andra is hoping it goes better than the last conversation. D’Andra wants to take her company and start over and wants Mama Dee’s guidance. She wants a better relationship with her mom and Mama Dee wants one as well. Mama Dee gives her 100% control of the company and D’Andra is shocked. Mama Dee doesn’t want to lose her relationship with D’Andra so she would rather hand the company over than continue fighting with her. They hug it out and agree to move forward, though D’Andra is skeptical that she will fully sign the company over.
Stephanie takes her sons to a hip hop dance class. The brothers argue and Stephanie struggles to discipline them. She’s afraid of what’s to come when Travis leaves for his month-long training course.
Rich and LeeAnne are planning their wedding when Kam calls. She’s hosting a paint night/paint your dog party with all the ladies and their children-and their dogs. LeeAnne doesn’t do well with kids but she says she’s in with her pup. LeeAnne is planning a $250,000 dollar wedding and Rich just soiled his chair. LeeAnne fills Rich in on what happened with D’Andra and he suggests she call her. LeeAnne leaves a message inviting her to lunch. LeeAnne feels like she’s losing her sister/family with D’Andra. Rich consoles her but cautions her to not love too hard when that person doesn’t reciprocate.
Cary, Mark and Zuri have breakfast. Cary wants the new house to be done so that she doesn’t have to live with her parents. According to Cary they would be walking on eggshells if they were to stay there with her parents. Mark’s dad died very young of Alzheimer’s so it makes Cary want to bond more with her dad. She wants to reconnect with her dad’s family in Denmark as a way to get closer to him. Possible cast trip?
Brandi is home and poor baby Bruin is crying and teething. She finally hired a nanny and Bruin really likes her. He smiled when she came to the door! She’s going to pick up the girls from tutoring to go to the party. . Brandi gets the girls and Brooklyn is in full on tantrum mode. She’s too hot. Brandi will buy her something if she stops…and I won’t say anything other than it was about 30 seconds for us but it must have been a LOOOONG car ride.
Kam sets up a pinktastic paint night complete with a string trio-not quartet like she ordered. They’re going to be painting their dogs and it looks…interesting. D’Andra comes to help and Kam tells her she was an art major which I wouldn’t have guessed. LeeAnne arrives with her dog and D’Andra is standoffish. She plans to ignore her all night. Because, good friend.
Brandi and her girls arrive and they get started painting. LeeAnne’s dog poops on the floor and LeeAnne ate a pink doggy biscuit. So she’s having a ball =) Stephanie tells Brandi that she’s going to lunch with LeeAnne and is excited about it. Brandi isn’t pleased but won’t say anything. LeeAnne pulls Cary aside and wants her to spill the tea and Cary is happy to oblige. She tells her that Brandi blames LeeAnne for swaying Kameron’s opinion of her. Cary wants credit for telling LeeAnne and LeeAnne is happy to give it to her, she credits her fully for throwing people under the bus. Haha! The paint party was a great success and everyone, kids and pups included, had fun. Except LeeAnne. She’s glad everyone is gone so that it’s quiet. D’Andra continues to ignore her and it really bothers LeeAnne.
LeeAnne and D’Andra finally meet for lunch. D’Andra tells LeeAnne that her mom agreed to sign over the company but she’s still skeptical. LeeAnne just wants to help and protect her and finds it frustrating that she can’t. D’Andra asks LeeAnne pointed questions about the wedding and LeeAnne still doesn’t have a date. D’Andra asks her if she feels like RIch will stay married to her and LeeAnne says yes. D’Andra tells LeeAnne that she and Rich lead separate lives and asks if RIch is faithful. LeeAnne says that they do not lead separate lives and wonders where these accusations are coming from. In her talking head D’Andra says there’s been rumors of Rich’s cheating. D’Andra feels like there is something LeeAnne isn’t telling her but LeeAnne insists there’s nothing to tell.
Next week: We get some sort of 80’s prom themed party? Brandi, D’Andra and LeeAnne argue more. Thank you all for reading, see you next time!!
