I haven’t been awake that long and it takes me hours to fully wake up in the morning so when I started to plug in the title my brain wanted to title this post Sheree Whitfield on Wendy Williams. Clearly my brain has Danielle Staub filed in the “legit crazy people trying everything to be on a housewives show pile.” In other words, I’m not really excited about this post but let’s see what Danielle has to say for herself these days and if she will address all the bizarre drama with fiance number 20. Because there is a lot.
It’s amazing to me how confident she is showing her face in public. Wendy introduces her as “one of the originals on RHONJ.” It’s like we are all going to pretend she is a sane human being that is safe to mix with the public. Okay. Wendy shows the trailer for the upcoming season that is supposed to be premiering next month.
My Bravo sources say that production has been doing a bit of paring down of the season in post production. RHONJ filmed on a bit of a different schedule for this season. I’ve already forgotten why, but production isn’t happy that there is so much extra time in between filming and the show’s premiere and a lot of the storylines have leaked out. I’m not really following the logic here, but because of that they have paired things down to about 14 regular episodes in post-production. This could me a blessed reprieve from too much Danielle Staub drama. Their other concern is that Teresa and Melissa get along just fine now and their whole storyline is fighting.
Anyway, I digress.
Did we see that quick clip where Danielle Staub appears to be pushing someone in the pool before? The audience clapped for that part.
Wendy gave her shoe cam for her Louboutins. Danielle said, “If the feet matched the shoes she would be so lucky. Danielle has really bad bunions from wearing too small high heels all her life and gets grief about it online. Recently, some podiatrist offered to fix them for free, like when plastic surgeons do pro bono work on babies with cleft palates in third world countries. That seemed really weird to me even in a world where nothing is really normal anymore.
Wendy Williams Goes In On Danielle Staub
Then Wendy states that Danielle is not a housewife this time, just a friend. Apparently she’s not even going to play nice with this guest. Danielle is a weird combination of sedated and irritated. She tells Wendy she would love to know why she is just a housewife and suggests maybe Wendy knows some people. This is so weird already. Then Wendy says, “Well, why did you accept then?” Wendy really doesn’t like this one. Everyone knows how these things go and how they sign on before hand. They have no guarantee of their standing on the show or how many episodes they might get. Danielle says she thought is was time for her reconciliation with Teresa to be filmed. Didn’t that happen last season or the season before? She says she did it BECAUSE SHE ALWAYS TRIES TO SET A GOOD EXAMPLE FOR HER KIDS.
At this point, I have to stop to see if I have another Mexican co-cola somewhere. Because, I don’t have enough caffeine in me for this. Sadly, there is not another co-cola so I put on some coffee. I presume I can skip typing out the fifty million egregious things Danielle has done both on RHONJ. And when she was a “prostitution whore” and involved with so much nefarious behavior that she had to change her name. I think we were all paying attention.
Danielle Staub Thinks She Is Good Mother
It’s just a bit shocking when someone like this comes on TV talking about what a good example they are for their children. I always expect them get struck by lighting sent from above with so much wrath the entire studio dies in a fire.
As I hit play, Danielle speaks in chilling tones about how close she is with Teresa and how there is nothing she wouldn’t do for her. She says that she wanted to do the show for her so she accepted her contract. It’s all because she is such a good and loving mother and dear friend that she is at peace with her friend contract. Wendy goes in deeper and points out that this is two years in a row she was just a friend. She says she really needs to bring it this season. Danielle smiles and says she did.
Wendy brings up Teresa calling her a “prostitution whore” and hints that the show might not be the best thing for her kids. Danielle says her kids are 20 an 25 now and they feel like she is safe on the show now that Teresa is her ally. This is like the twilight zone.
Wendy says that Margaret is responsible for having a lot of her scenes cut out. Danielle doesn’t like this implication and says, “Wouldn’t we all like that kind of power. We haven’t even seen her in season two, have we?” So that hit the mark. I really don’t follow the rumors on RHONJ so I can’t speak to that with any credibility other than that the question seemed to hit the mark.
Wendy says she didn’t even see Danielle in the trailer. Danielle says she is there, and that she is “the reason for that trailer.” She is getting saltier by the minute. You know she wants to rip that wig right off of Wendy’s head.
Wendy asks if she an Margaret get along, she says they don’t. Wendy asks what happened and Danielle says, “I don’t want anyone to think I like am the victim or I want attention from this, BUT I’m going through a rough time and it would have been for her to just… not be there for me… just stay out of my marriage.” As much as Wendy is nailing her to the wall, there is a group in the audience that is cheering for her every time she pauses. Perhaps she required a dozen or two dozen seats for a cheering section? The she plays the women’s empowerment card.
Danielle Staub Pretends Like Marty Was Not The Plaintiff In The Divorce
Wendy goes in for this kill with the divorce questions. Danielle says she has known Marty for four years. She says the wedding is shown, but indicates that most of her other scenes with Marty have been cut. This goes along with what my sources are saying that scenes have been drastically cut down. It makes sense that that is because Danielle was demoted in post production.
Danielle blames Marty’s drinking and her personality for their divorce. She seems very attached to “the home that they bought together” as something she wants in the divorce. Wendy asks if there is a chance of reconciliation. Danielle said she doesn’t have a crystal ball, but you can’t go on social media tweeting and Instagramming about your wife. She says you don’t go to press. Danielle Staub claims he really wanted the attention from being on the show. Actually that is something we never saw much of. Until the big divorce blow up his social media was all about his real family and regular joe kinds of stuff. Danielle has lied a lot in this interview. A lot.
Danielle Staub Believes In Love
Wendy strangely encourages Danielle to get back into the dating world. Then she asks what is going to happen to Teresa’s marriage. Danielle says, “That is a question for Teresa, being best friends with her is for real it’s not just something for everyone to watch. We do a lot privately. And out of respect for her, I think that is a question about her own marriage she should answer.” Well we certainly have a lot so say about it. Then she says that as far as what she thinks, she has been there for their phone conversations and heard how they speak to each other and they are in love.
This interview seems to be going on forever. Wendy looks at the clock and sees more time and reminds her AGAIN she is not a housewife. The she asks her what she thinks of the two new housewives. Danielle Staub says she spent more time with Jennifer and likes her better and the other one “kind of disappears to her a little bit.” When the audience groans a bit she says it is nothing personal. She’s been around this zoo for a long time and she can tell which animals stay and which are going to go.
In what must clearly be the longest interview ever on Wendy! She continues plodding on. Of the past RHONJ she is closest with Dina and hates Caroline. We all know this. Move along Wendy. She calls Jacqueline a whole lot of crazy.
And finally it mercifully ends.
