Hello y’all!!! We are back with the lovely ladies of Dallas and I am already sad about the dissolving friendship between LeeAnne and D’Andra. Sigh. Here we go! We open at Brandi’s house where she is trying wrangle her two daughters and it doesn’t go well. Social workers are coming to the house to check on the baby and Brandi is telling the girls to praise her and her mothering skills, which they won’t do. All I will say is that Bruin is beautiful and Brandi clearly loves him and her daughters very much. Brandi sums up the visit by saying her daughters are being “little shitheads” (I think we all screamed AMEN at the same time, no??) and the social workers seem to know Bruin is very loved by his mom.
Kameron is going to the Global Pet Expo where Sparkle Dog is literally hanging in the balance. No distributor means no pink dog food. Kam can’t take the private jet and doesn’t know how to fly commercial, so Kourt talks her through how to check and claim her bags. Wow.
D’Andra and LeeAnne meet for dessert and LeeAnne invites D’Andra and the girls to a smash party at the “Anger Room”. D’Andra wants to know where zen LeeAnne has gone but LeeAnne feels it will be good to release any anger they may have. LeeAnne wants everyone to open up and be real and D’Andra is scared of LeeAnne yielding a weapon. D’Andra discusses starting over from scratch without any financial assistance from Mama Dee-car and insurance included. She is so dependent financially on her mom that she is scared to be on her own and change her lifestyle. LeeAnne calls her lazy and says she really likes her princess life-giving her the tough love that D’Andra gave LeeAnne in Beaver Creek. D’Andra doesn’t like it at all and here we see the cracks forming in the friendship and I don’t like it.
LeeAnne and Rich meet with wedding planner Steve Kemble. He’s super cute and LeeAnne knows and trusts him. Rich is being a stereotypical guy and has no idea what to do with planning (going through that currently so I feel you LeeAnne!) but he’s there and willing to pay so that’s a plus! LeeAnne wants a lavish wedding because it’s her first and last wedding. They pick a month and date and LeeAnne is extremely happy.
D’Andra goes to see Cary at her house where she discusses her fears of starting a new company. She has an inheritance and is set for life but she can’t take that money and start a new business and live her same lifestyle. She cries and tells Cary that she’s afraid she’s going to lose her friends. Cary is very supportive but tells D’Andra that LeeAnne told her that she only has two hundred dollars in her bank account. D’Andra already feels humiliated by her financial problems and feels hurt that LeeAnne would say that. I see where Cary is coming from by telling D’Andra because she wants to get in front of it before D’Andra possibly sees it on camera but it feels shit stirring to me. I see you and your big stirring spoon Cary.
Stephanie is in a charity meeting at Hollman Enterprises with her husband. Her son Kruse struggles with dyslexia which Travis also had. We see pictures of Travis in leg braces as a child, he had a degenerative hip disease so he’s overcome a lot. The charity focuses on education and a co-worker suggests focusing on dyslexia which brings Stephanie to tears. They go into Travis’s office where they discuss him leaving for a month for his own educational training. Stephanie is afraid to be alone and fears she won’t be able to keep the boys in line. Stephanie is so sweet and vulnerable and she deeply fears making mistakes. It’s sad and I want to shove confidence through the TV screen that she seems to really need.
LeeAnne is in a full on mullet and mustache and ready to smash! Brandi and D’Andra talk on the drive over and Brandi makes snide comments about how she doesn’t handle anger with violence like LeeAnne does. Brandi feels that LeeAnne is jumping on D’Andra’s financial weakness and D’Andra agrees.
Kam just flew in and is confused by LeeAnne in drag. Her business trip was fun and she has a ton of leads but doesn’t seem to have a contract. Hmm. They all gear up and LeeAnne says how she’s tired of living a surface life with this group. D’Andra pounces at LeeAnne when LeeAnne talks to the group about being good at acting fake. She is MAD and Kam is confused at anyone even believing that D’Andra only has two hundred dollars in her account. LeeAnne is upset at Cary for shit stirring and D’Andra is just going off. By the way, they’re still sitting on couches and nothing has even been smashed yet!
D’Andra sobs and feels betrayed. LeeAnne says it wasn’t said maliciously, it was said because LeeAnne wasn’t there to protect D’Andra from over spending. She apologizes and explains that she only told Cary because she thought Cary would help the situation and keep it private. Brandi talks about how she grew up in a single trailer so she knows financial struggle and it breaks the ice. D’Andra feels that LeeAnne is enjoying her troubles which is a really crappy thing to think. LeeAnne confronts Cary about why she told D’Andra what she said and Cary basically said it’s a CYA situation-she was covering her own ass. They all smash things and D’Andra and LeeAnne hug. They all write on plates what they want to release in their lives and then smash the plates against the wall. Brandi reveals she’s struggling at home but won’t allow help, and the group rallies around her. Brandi then confronts LeeAnne about how she told D’Andra she should watch herself around Brandi.
LeeAnne is taken aback and Kam confesses her own fears about D’Andra and Brandi’s newfound friendship. Kam feels that Brandi could be a bad influence and Brandi leaves the room angry. She doesn’t understand how they feel she can be a bad influence to a grown adult. Brandi comes back and tells Kam that maybe they shouldn’t be friends if she feels that she’s a bad influence. Brandi feels under a microscope with her adoption and doesn’t want any negativity surrounding her. LeeAnne tells Brandi that she deeply hurt her and that LeeAnne was coming from a protective place with D’Andra. D’Andra leaves all pissy-END SCENE.
Wow, that was quite the episode! Tune in next week when LeeAnne and D’Andra’s friendship implodes and Brandi and Kam both have issues with Cary. See y’all then!
