#WWHL With Gina Kirschenheiter & Dr. Oz: Gina Says Shannon “Just Sucks”

September 11, 2018 by tamaratattles 44 Comments

Well this is an interesting match-up!  I expect these three to talk all over each other. After some lowlights from this week’s episode which I won’t bother to recount again, Gina gives a very nicely constructed speech regarding her divorce. She loves Matt dearly, he is the father of her children and they will always be friends. That sounds to me like the child support and alimony situation has not yet been finalized. She said there was no one thing that caused the divorce, they just got married young and grew apart. Andy asks if she is selling her OC house to move closer to Matt. She said no. She said she doesn’t like being a homeowner because it’s hard to run a house. However, they have decided to take it off the market. Andy asks very nosy questions. He asks her if there was another woman involved. She says no. Who asks that to someone going through a divorce that is likely meeting her for the first time? Reality show or not, it’s not right.

How did the poll really end up with Shane only winning by three percent of the vote against Kelly? Production really was able to blind people to the truth pretty easily on this season having the women trash talk him behind Emily’s back. There are also some interesting places trashing Shane as well and I think some people are being paid. #Sheep None of them say a thing he did wrong in this situation and then start with physical insults. It’s very odd. I don’t think I’ve seen anything quite like this before. He’s had less than five minutes on camera.

The people want to know if Gina is going to stay in Orange County once the divorce is final. She says “yeah” as in I’ll be here til I get fired!

Gina was asked if she watched RHOOC before she was cast. Finally, a truthful answer! Yes! Of course she had and it was surreal actually being on the show. Gina loves Vicki a lot and used a lot of words to express this that she cannot say on TV. Andy didn’t even get mad. She says Vicki is very maternal and has a good heart and really cares about her.

Gina is one of the smartest housewives ever to play the Password knock off game. She gave great clues to Dr. Oz about several different medical procedures.

On the after show, Gina was asked which housewife has been the most supportive and least supportive in her divorce process. Gina says most supportive is Kelly Dodd. She says Emily too of course but Kelly has given her really good advice. The least supportive is Shannon. Andy points out that Gina and Shannon”do not connect.” Gina says “I don’t have any problems with her, she just sucks.”

GIna says being on the show had nothing to do with her divorce. However, if she had known she was going to divorce her husband, she probably wouldn’t have done the show.

But the biggest takeaway from this episode was that someone needs to take Gina to one of those expensive bra shops in Orange County and buy her half a dozen of those expensive bras. Her undergarment game is tragic.  Additionally, she has the worst posture in the world. It’s a shame because her dress was really cute and her hair and makeup looked great, but all I notices was how her dress rumpled everywhere and her boobs were sagging.

Oh and you’re welcome. I did not recap any of the disgusting conversations between Andy and Dr. Oz.

Gina is def. becoming my favorite RH regardless of how wrong she is about Shannon – my other fav RH.

I agree. Vicki was strategic with Gina, getting her on her side early on. Other than not having good taste in friends I like Gina lots. She’s smart and doesn’t get lost in the emotional weeds of regret and “if only’s”, unlike the OG of the OC.

I’m also a Shannon fan. Shannon keeps getting picked on by the likes of Tamara and her ilk thinking because another woman listens to her that makes her a friend. Uh, not always. Tamara chooses allies, not friends, and Vicki is this season’s selection. Great recap TT!

I second your thoughts on the bras and the posture. A good bra makes me want to sit up a little straighter, puts those girls on out there.

I have tragically bad posture as well and I’m always trying to be aware of my slumping as I have a big fat pad behind my neck b/c years of slouching. But dang it, it is exhausting trying to sit straight all the time. Should’ve listening to my mama more on that…

Agree 100%, Tamara, what was she thinking with that dress?!! It’s not flattering and makes her boobs look like they belong to an old woman (and I should know) . Plus she sits with her shoulders rounded, which makes her look like she has very little neck. Oh well, she’ll probably see these photos and realize she could do with better undies. I thought her face and hair were pretty – she looks better to me than she did when we first met her, maybe it’s the softer makeup. She seems like a pretty bright woman, and I think she’ll bring something positive to the show.

I’m adding my comment here ’cause I love your comments EnglishRose…Just off work, opened this post on my phone, mind y’all I haven’t watched this WWHL and won’t until maybe Thurs or Fri, just picked up another 12hr shift tomorrow…I tried to zoom in on the px because I couldn’t figure out why her upper frontal looked so wrong. I read TT’S recap, made my way to your comment ER so I apologize if I’m duplicating a comment folks…Wow! That must have been distracting to watch during the program!
For kicks and giggles ask a 25 year old what “foundations” are sometime, hilarious, even if they work in a department store. I’ve learned my lesson more than once, just crassly ask “Whare are the braz and thawngs?” My Grandma and Mom would have died before asking a salesperson for such specific undergarments! Anywho, I thought something was wrong with the photo!
Who knows, maybe she’s perfectly comfortable in her body and has no problem looking “unsupported” in “the girls” department? Honestly? IMHO, at least she was covered, I’m over the super exposed breastessiz uncovered look!
      Thank you TT!

Great recap TT. I thought Gina did great playing the quiz with Dr. Oz. At least she has a brain. I imagine if Vicki or Tamara played the game they would have been screaming and acting like idiots. I think some of the women are smarter than they act on the show. Their behavior reminds me of junior high and how some of the girls played the airhead role because of the attention they got from the boys and I guess they thought it was cute. I find it embarrassing for them and their families.

OMG, all I could look at was her sagging boobs! And slumping in the chair. Most women are sitting super straight, with a lot of attention to how they look.

I feel sorry for her personal situation. But her children act as if they were raised by wolves. They are so out of control. My four would have been put in time so fast their heads would spin for that behavior. The “meal” was a disaster. She seems at a loss — with her kids, with her house, with her husband. Sad.

It’s amazing how this generation of kids can’t be trained to sit down at the dinner table. Perhaps it is because their mothers are all out getting drunk and calling their friend’s husbands vile names.

I mean, can you imagine STANDING IN YOUR CHAIR at the dinner table as a child? Let alone with guests present. I still would not be able to sit down all these years later if I had behaved in such a way. I had a healthy fear of my mother. I was not spanked often but she could shoot a look that would put the fear of God into you. Plus I was taught how to behave in public. And I had to be taught things about another culture like what to do when shopping in the Souk when prayers were called. I even went beyond what my parents did and stopped and waited for it to end while they continued shopping.

I was raised similarly. I think that’s why it always fascinates me, on Dr. Phil, when parents come on the show begging for help as they’ve lost control of their children. In my house that wouldn’t have been possible. Not with my father. And he was a spanker. And had a look, too.

A failed attempt at Spanky’s defensive.move of a book down the back of my pants merited a few extra wacks. This is why my ads is flat as a pancake. When I was 5 my parents took me to a local museum. I must of wanted something and my mom said no. I responded, “shut up”. My dad grab the collar of my shirt and said he better never hear me say that again. The look in his eyes and tone voice scared the delights out of me. To this day I never say “shut up” to anyone. It is one of the worse phrases I think you can say.I agree, kids today aren’t disciplined like my generation. Geez, I sound old

My daddy was a detective for N.Y.PD. He didn’t stand for any mess, so I didn’t give him any. He knew where I was at all times, friends, boyfriends, parties, hangouts even bars. I’m return i was never bothered. On my mother’s side, she drove me bat s” “t!!! So she NEVER knew where I was. I only got one spanking in my entire life, and it was for something i didn’t do! But trust and believe, I had manners down pat with every other family member except my mom. My view back then was, if she would stop trying the forced control, if let her in. The more she tried to tighten the reigns the more I would cut them. It took until I was a married woman before we got along.

After my husband left two years ago, women I just knew socially would find out about the divorce and approach me to say they were sorry. I can’t tell you how many would ask in a whisper, “did he cheat on you?”. Wtf? That’s painful, private information and it was upsetting. Personally, I wouldn’t even ask a friend that question, I’d wait until she volunteered the information.

That’s rude of people to make such assumptions and vocalize them. Not the same situation, but when my mom died, people said stupid things that made me want to scream. I went to a grief support group and we watched videos of people’s experience with grief. One woman’s story was she lost a child. Someone told her, “well, at least you have another child”. Seriously, what dumbass says that?

People say that often. I have had to explain to,spa few why that is hurtful. (Really?” My friend’s dad told her at her brother’s funeral (hit by a car, one was 6, one was 8) that the wrong child died. If I had been an adult and overheard it I would have said, “maybe the wrong LASTNAME died.” Clueless. Cruel.

I like Gina for calling out Vicki. I’m really over Vicky and Tamra. But I love Shannon and no one should be judging her after her recovery from narcissistic abuse. It’s going to take time with her. That being said, Gina is also getting a divorce, so she may need some Shannon advice at some point. What is up with her weird husband not living with his family? He sounds either gay or like he’s a playboy who shouldn’t have made three kids.

I was a little surprised that Dr. Oz said Eddy’s condition isn’t that serious. It’s not life threatening, he just needs to take blood thinner pills. He said athletes hate the condition, and that there is a surgery that will take care of it. Have they played up the condition for TV, I don’t have lots of respect for Dr. Oz, but he is a heart surgeon.

Re: afib. My 81 yr old Dad has it and takes blood thinner Elyquis to reduce chance of a blood clot. Had the ablation procedure 98% success rate). According to his cardiologist, A fib won’t kill you, but a stroke caused by your heart throwing a blood clot might. Of course, here in the US you need good insurance; ablation procedure and Elyquis aren’t cheap. 🙁

it was pretty serious when my mother died from a stroke due to it. She was on blood thinners, had the ablations, and a pacemaker for it. I don’t know if they do the pacemaker anymore. I don’t know anyone with afib that thinks it is no big deal.

Remember how Vicki hated ALL the newbies. They all had to literally kiss her ass in the beginning. She was so snooty, Then when the whole Brooks thing happened she stopped being that way. She really has come a long way but I still don’t care for her. Tamera is so beautiful but I can’t stand her either. She’s so two-faced and sneaky. Man is she a sneak! She’s the one who turns around things people say. I do love Kelly and I really like Emily, Gina, and Shane. I don’t blame her for the way she tried to stand up for her husband and I really think Kelly didn’t know he was Emily’s husband. Probably drunk when she first met him and doesn’t remember. Also, I think Tamera is too old and doesn’t think about her kids when she talks about sex stuff. I’m actually surprised at the things she does say. Makes me wonder if Eddie ever says anything to her about it. As for Shannon, I think she’s just okay and I’m happy that Tamera told her how she felt. I think Shannon was receptive to it and I think she felt bad

I think that Vicki and Steve may have had a talk and decided that because no one can win against a drunk or an idiot, they would just quietly walk away. If they walked away from a rational conversation, Kelly could calll them pussies, but from a drunken tirade, I think they are doing the right thing.

That said, I really hope Eddie is going to be on the upswing now with his health. That all sounds so scary to deal with and it must be terrible for him, being such a strong athlete.

Gina looked so pretty on WWHL and I liked her more after hearing her speak. Agree with TT though that her divorce speech was rehearsed. But she probably had to get one ready because of Andy’s inappropriate prying questions.

TT’s post about loss of her mother & condition really say how tough afib & all with it can be to manage….somehow get through. Gina…those children are full out of control. Chaos & divorce. Her life would be more “real” for me if she had a job & was raising the children. Put the kids with other kids for a few hours from less affluent lifestyle and give them some social grounding. I hope Gina can direct her smarts to really smarten up & get management of her kids & life… & enjoy the child support that will likely be coming from her $$$ divorcing husband….
