This post has spoilers from tonight’s Bachelorette so if you haven’t watched it and don’t want to be spoiled, don’t read any further.
It came down to two bachelors who were both madly in love with her. One was devastated and the other was elated. We saw the final dates where she was in love with both of them and acted the exact same way with both of them. It was weird to see how thrilled she was to see them when they arrived in the exact same way.
Here are some things being said on Twitter about her decision to choose Garrett.
Blake I’m so attracted to how strong & independent she is -I love the way we challenge each other -I can’t wait to be her equal partner
Garrett she make me smile -her eyes r brown -my tummy firework
Blake: Being a survivor of a school shooting really changed my whole perspective
Garrett: You give me eagles
Blake: “we’re a great team”
Garrett: “she’s going to be a great wife and mother”
“I will choose you every day” – Arie, 2017
“I will choose you every day” – Garrett, 2018
Becca: please tell me you guys would choose Garrett…
Becca’s family: I like Blake. Blake will challenge you. There’s something about Blake. Blake will go to war for you.
Becca: …. ok so Garrett then?
“You don’t give me butterflies cause they’re small. You give me eagles” –Garrett This would have been the deal breaker for me.
Blake: “I’m attracted to how independent and strong she is” Garrett: “I like the way she says bag”
The man reason social media is in an uproar is apparently Garrett likes some Instagram stuff that was racist and homophobic and he believes that school shootings are fake. Or something.
Garrett is a 30-year-old man, at what point does the I didn’t mean it excuse not fly anymore when you are liking memes calling a child who was the victim of a mass school shooting a crisis actor?
Basically Garrett is dumb and Blake is hotter. Oh and Garrett was married for two months to someone who looks EXACTLY like Becca.
