This episode is going to piss me off. I can feel it already. After sending Hannah away, she calls Conrad to the bridge to ask him what happened with the land trip. I mean, it’s pretty simple really. The guests wanted to go ashore and he took them. But she doesn’t even let him speak before starting to say she is on the verge of firing him. Conrad has no idea that Hannah was supposed to only “have a coke” with the guests and come right back. WTF? Was she supposed to swim back to the boat? She was with the guests taking care of them! Captain Sandy says that he should not have taken any stew when there is a dinner service coming up. Really? How many stews does it take to set a dinner table? Clearly, the stew would be back in time for service because SHE IS WITH THE GUESTS! This is just insane. The she tells Conrad she doesn’t want to see him anywhere near Hannah. Again, this is ridiculous.
Captain Sandy reams out Hannah who defends her position. Because Hannah feels that she was in the right by taking care of the guests, Captain Sandy has a tizzy fit and tells Hannah to stay away from her for the rest of the charter. Captain Sandy literally sucks as a captain.
Captain Sandy apologizes to Conrad for her rude behavior and uncalled for behavior toward him.
As soon as the guests are off the boat, Captain Sandy calls Hannah to the bridge to yell at her some more. She tells Hannah to do her job on the last three charters and then they will never have to work together again. Guess what Sandy? When it comes down to you or Hannah returning next season, I don’t think casting will pick you.
They got the biggest tip ever. $2,083 each. Colin is ready to go home. He’s had his fun and he seems a bit homesick.
Before the crew night on the town, Conrad asked Hannah to pay him back 50 euros and this seemed to piss her off. In the van on the ride to town, there is some sort of argument about who paid for cigarettes. It seems that money may have been for a carton. Hannah wants to be spoiled by the men she dates financially. If that his her criteria she needs to date men much older than Conrad. So they start out the evening not speaking to each other.
That doesn’t stop Hannah from speaking to everyone else. Conrad over hears her talking to Adam about him. She seems awfully proud of the fact that she has more money than he does. Yet, she doesn’t understand that $50 is more money to him than it is to her. Hannah tells Conrad that if fifty euros is a big deal to him then he is probably not the right guy for her. Obviously. She should have known this before even hooking up with him. It she is dating people based on the size of their wallets with expectations of lavish gifts she needs to find an older guy who is not a yachtie. Everyone goes back to the dinner table. Conrad and Hannah are not speaking. Brooke and Kasey are talking about how they got the highest tip without Hannah. Conrad and Hannah leave again to try to resolve the issue. Conrad makes it clear that Hannah is choosing a lifestyle over a guy who makes her happy. He is never going to be the guy to buy her lavish gifts. He thinks the relationship should be fifty/fifty in all ways except financially. Then he calls her spiteful for bringing up that some guy bought her a BMW for her birthday in her 20s. Once again, Conrad walks away from her.
Joao is getting very drunk and belligerent again. He confronts Kasey for telling Brooke to be careful with Joao.
Everyone goes dancing except for Hannah. Everyone is having a great time. So Hannah has to go have round three with Conrad. Now she’s pissed because he is enjoying life. She tells him, “Go be 23 and have a good time.” She’s so condescending. Hannah can’t answer his question of whether she wants happiness or money so he dumps her. I hope he sticks to that decision. This relationship will never work. Hannah leaves and Adam jumps in the cab with her.
Next week: It’s yet another cruise with Sandy’s friends. These are always horrible. Adam forgets to make dinner for the crew. Hannah slacks off while sulking about Conrad. The guests are not happy with service.
