Teen Mom 2: Road Rage

July 24, 2018 by tamaratattles 64 Comments

There are lots of Teen Mom stories today. Two about this episode where Jenelle pulls a gun on someone, and one about Ryan from Teen Mom 2 who has been arrested again on heroin charges. He’s in the pokey with no bond until his court date on August 6th. So Mackenzie managed to get herself knocked up by a heroin addict in order to be on a reality show and as it turns out, it’s highly unlikely either of them will be filming.

On to this episode…

Chelsea

Chelsea takes Watson who isn’t even one yet, to a dinosaur museum. I would think that would scare the crap out of him, but he just seemed a bit confused. It seems like we have had a lot of time pass since the last filming with Chelsea. She much farther along in her pregnancy. She’s not having any of the issues she had with Watson this time and things are going smoothly. Chelsea and Cole go to the visitation center to fill out paperwork so Aubree can see her dad. Watson is such a good baby. Chelsea said it was not hard to cry in the visitation center. It’s a very depressing place.

Leah

Leah is back from Hawaii and rounding up her gaggle of girls. Leah finds out when she goes to pick up the girls from school that they school is no longer going to provide Allie with an aide. That is ridiculous. Her condition is getting worse not better and she qualified for one before.

Briana

This surgery trip to Miami is lasting forever and she still hasn’t had her surgery yet. Briana’s mother tells her not to trust Javi. Her mom wants to drive down and beat Javi’s ass. She is such a hot head.

At the surgery we are told that Briana is having a “mommy makeover.” It’s actually a lot more than that. She’s replacing her breast implants that she basically just got, doing a tummy tuck and trying to fix her misshapen butt from whatever she did to it last time.

Briana’s Mom and Sister Drive To Miami

Wow, Briana’s mom, sister, Nova and Nova’s dad Devoin are driving to Miami. I thought they had jobs or something and that was the reason her mother didn’t go down to take care of her. This is nuts. It appears they are going down to confront Javi. Why?

Briana looks like holy hell after the surgery. She wants to talk to her mom but her mom is not answering the phone. That’s because she is downstairs trying to get in. Devoin and Javi wait awkwardly in the living room. Briana’s mother tells Javi in not so many words that she thinks he is an attention whore just trying to get camera time. She’s probably right, but it takes one to know one.

Kailyn

Kailyn goes to court with Lux’s dad over child support. He apparently texted her that she was a shitty mom for leaving an infant at home to go on a trip to Hawaii. Kailyn was awarded $346 a month in child support.

Jenelle

Here comes the road rage incident. Jenelle is taking Jace for ice cream before taking him back to Barbara. Jace finds Jenelle’s new driver’s license with her married name. He says he wants to change his name too. She asks if he wants to change it to Eason (why would he do that?) and he says no, he wants to change it to something better.

There is a truck trying to get around Jenelle and she is slowing down to box him in. So he is tailgating her. She’s in the far left lane and he finally passes her on the right and then gets in front of her and jams on the brakes. When she calls 911 she said she was going “seventy something miles per hour.” That another genius move.

Jenelle Pulls A Gun

Then she gets off the highway and follows the car. She takes off her seatbelt and puts her gun at her side. She stops in front of the guys house and starts taking photos with her camera. She and the guy continue to scream at each other. Jenelle goes to back up and accidentally runs over the guy’s mailbox.

The guy blocks her in with his truck to keep her detained. Jenelle says he hit her car. She grabs her gun and they don’t show us the next part. She eventually is able to get away but the guy continues to follow her for quite a bit. Even David is yelling at her telling her you don’t follow a grown man to his house. Jenelle hangs up on him. Then the cops pull her over. She tells production where she is and she’s crying. She gives the police quite the performance. They ask her to step out of the car leaving Jace in the car alone with the gun.

This episode taped for an hour and six minutes and ended with Javi and Briana’s mom’s conversation. Did they show any more of the Jenelle situation after that?

They played the tape of Jace calling Barb to tell her what happened and he plain as day told her that mommy pulled a gun.
Next week Jenelle basically calls Jace a liar for saying that she pulled her gun.

Yes, he called Barb from his cell phone when he was in the car while Jenelle was outside talking to “the Law.” He told Barb that Mommy got pulled over, and told her that a guy hit his breaks in front of them, so Mommy followed him to his house down a dirt road, and then she hit his mailbox and he tried to block her in with his car, so Mommy pulled out her gun and the guy screamed “You better not f—- shoot!” The whole episode was profoundly sad and disturbing as all hell. I still can’t believe what I saw..

It was pretty disturbing that they left an 8 year old in the car alone with a loaded gun. Not sure what the cops or his idiot mother were thinking.

Jenelle didn’t inform the officer that she had a gun in the car. She conveniently left that part of the story out, he should have known that if the other driver told them when he called 911 but who knows.

When he was talking to her, immediately after approaching the car, the officer said he saw that she had a weapon. I am pretty sure that was why he removed her from the car. Why they left a little kid in the car with a loaded weapon is beyond me.

I also could not believe what I was watching!! It was horrifying to see how this girl acted & not once acted concerned for her child! Never once did she ask him if he was okay or not too worry – it was just plain sad & disturbing to watch. Barbara should never let her have that boy again! It was so clear he was scared to death & just think how all the kids at school are going to tease him about this now! kids are cruel & he has long way to go! I feel so bad for him you can tell he has a nervous disposition already! And Jenelle lied to the police when she said what happened!! she never swerved off the road into grass & Jace did not hit his head! She didn’t even put her arm out to try & stop him from lunging forward like most drivers do!! she is just a terrible parent & if CYS doesn’t get involved now then there is something seriously wrong!

I have that arm reflex as well! You don’t have to be a mother (I am not) to have that instinct to protect a person, pet, or anything that might move.

First, she was gleeful that she was holding the other vehicle back, then she purposely slowed down. Such a great role model for her son.

Then she follows an obviously enraged and dangerous guy! But we know she chooses this type of person repeatedly.

Then she pulls out and brandishes a gun.

Never reassure s Jace, just used HIS phone. And later she will lie about what he said on camera!

And lie about what actually happened.

I assume this incident is why Jenelleis not filming?

Her attorney may have mixed it.

I just caught the episode when it aired again tonight. I had to.

First, when Jace saw her take the gun and put it between the seat and the console he said “Mom”? (Which she ignores). He then continued “And If he tries to get out and hurt you, I can grab this nerf gun and whip him” (making the hand motion and everything). The look of concern on his face as he saw her put the gun there, right before he said that… he’s so much smarter than her. Also the fact that he was the one trying to comfort her, while “Mom” not only didn’t even TRY to comfort him… she couldn’t even acknowledge him when he said “Mom?” looking for assurance.

Secondly, the exact words from the officer, before he left a young child in the truck with a loaded gun was, “I see your pistol. Please just do me a favor and don’t grab ahold of it”.

I also noticed when they’re talking to the cop, Jace always says things like “He was trying to block HER in” instead of “Us”. Like he doesn’t matter at all, and again, it’s him trying to protect her.

I wonder what happens after the man involved and/or the police see this footage? Can they do anything then? She left out every single part that had her culpable at all. It truly is unbelievable. I so hope that she gets in some sort of trouble now that the proof has aired.

The best outcome, imo, would be if this could somehow go toward helping Nathan or his Mom get Kaiser out of that home and away from his mental and physical abuser. A grown man tormenting a toddler. I actually think about Kaiser sometimes when I can’t sleep at night. I was in a similar situation as a baby. Every time I see that pudgy little face it makes me want to cry.

I agree! Janelle needs to go! Teen Mom2 should be ashamed to air an episode like this in light of the fact that people are getting killed in real life when someone feels the urge to pull their concealed weapons for no good cause. Jenelle should never have gone to that man’s home and then she wants to pull out her weapon and cry when the cop shows up. Black people are being killed needlessly by the armed crazy people when they “feel they are being threated” even when they start crap.

Is it okay for Jase to be sitting in the front seat of the car, where i live its the law that kids under a certain age must sit in the backseat, because if they were to get into a accident and the airbag deployed it would
kill the child sitting there, so between that and his mother packing a gun right beside him somebody should step in keep him away from her, she has never been and never will be a proper mother to him.

North Carolina Child Restraint Requirements. Children 4 years and younger who weigh less than 40 pounds must be in the rear seat unless the front passenger airbag is deactivated or the restraint is designed for use with airbags.

But it’s usually recommended to be a lot older (About 13).

If you notice too, Jace is sitting on his knees at some point in the front seat. Yikes!!

The 13 recommendation is hilarious… so in 2 years they will let you drive with an individual over 18?… so sick of crazy.

Jenelle needs to be in jail, she is a mess but she is lucky she is not dead… I think Jace has a lot to do with it. Has she been shot, I would have sympathy for the man who has to take Ol Yeller out.

If someone follows you to your property ( especially rural property) they ar me looking for trouble.

How does she not have a record that keep her from purchasing and possession of a firearm?

I support the 2A but I wish they could pass something along the lines that if you have 15 arrests over a few years … might want to hold off … really upsetting but my biggest issue is how has she avoided a record?

Tired buzzed but I hate that bitch but I am also worried for her… and terrified for those children.

My friend has four children and logistically needed the oldest child (8 years old) to sit up front. She disabled the airbag. I’m not a mom so I don’t know if that’s a controversial choice, but she said it was legal solution in her state.

I am beyond shocked that Jenelle suffered no consequences from this incident and that the officer left Jace in that car with the gun. After they heard the other guys story that she pulled a gun, would they not have at least looked for the gun in her truck to corroborate that story? Also, you are taught in a conceal carry class that when you have your gun in the car and get pulled over that is the first thing you tell the officer so he can secure the gun for everyone’s safety. The reasons that were given for her not being charged in this case were that she and the other driver had conflicting stories and there weren’t any witnesses, but could they not have pulled the video from the cameras filming in her car, that would be the most reliable witness they could have. One last thing, this whole incident was so bad and Jenelle even being on the show or having custody of children is ridiculous at this point, but I think the worst thing that she did was what they will show next episode when she looks Jace right in the eye and says she never pulled that gun and why would he tell Barb that. She gets mad at him and just lies about him right in his face, that’s how you know she doesn’t have a motherly bone in her body, gas-lighting your 8 year old, how cute. MTV is a joke with this.

I have a 6-year-old and a 1-year-old. We have lots of road rage incidents here in Atlanta and my instinct (even when they’re not in the car) is to get away from people like that as fast as possible, they obviously have issues.

I love that Devoin kept his headphones in the entire ride with Brittany. He’s smarter than he looks. It was a brilliant move on his part.

I think Lux’s dad is wrong. Kail isn’t a very likable person but her kids always seem super well-behaved. She seems like a good mom.

It broke my heart at the end when they just showed nothing but Jace sitting alone in that truck. That was a powerful 45 secs (or however long). I can’t even put it into words, but it somehow made his whole life plain as day, just seeing him, looking so small, and alone in the madness in that truck. After everything this poor kid has been through in his life, seeing him like that had me in tears. The fact that, like someone else said, he practically had no reaction, and us knowing that there was still a loaded (probably ready to fire) gun sitting in the truck with him… even law enforcement is letting this kid down. How could they not have made sure he wasn’t alone in that truck with a gun after that call???? This poor kid. Nothing breaks my heart more than him. And she accuses him of lying next week?!?!? She’s such a disgusting, selfish piece of shit. I’m furious that on top of it all, she’s gonna accuse him of lying!

So I read that Ryan has no bond? So does that usually mean he was caught with heroin on him? Or did he get a positive on a pee test? Just waiting for Mack’s statement on how this is an error and it’s from a year ago or some nonsense. Sounds like it was a good call for Maci to hold out on filming until MTV agreed not to film Ryan anymore.

This is my first post ever here. I’m a daily lurked and love the site. Thank you Tamara!

Anyway, I was a bail bond agent for four years. Most judges won’t deny bail unless there is a bail jumping charge ( missed court date). When a person on bail misses court, they become a fugitive. The bail bond agency and the police start actively looking for them and a warrant is issued.
My best guess is that he was denied bail for bail jumping, violating parole, and being caught with a controlled substance.

I hope, for Ryan’s sake, that he has to sit in jail long enough to realize how much he needs help ( and Jesus).

More and more courts are forcing mandated treatment for repeat drug offenders. That is a much better option than prison. In my county, it’s called “drug court” and they are required to have one year of treatment. Ryan needs this.

      Addicts only stop using by two ways;
      1) they recognize they need help and want to change
      2) they die

Ryan’s family needs to also wake up and realize addiction is terminal if not treated. They need to stop enabling and pretending he’s just fine.

I have a special needs son who had an aide during his school years and they were always threatening to take the aide away because it’s all about the money. The school board doesn’t want to pay. That’s all it boils down too. They should fight it with all they have. I did and never lost our aide. It’s the boards responsibility to make sure all kids get a fair chance and they wouldn’t be giving her a fair chance if they take it away. Sorry, I feel like I went off with my nostrils flaring lol

Ali needs a Go Fund Me Page. She is the sweetest thing and I have no doubt viewers would donate to raise money for her to keep her aid. I don’t know what the daily cost of her aid would be and I’m sure Leah makes good Teen Mom money but she and Corey shouldn’t have to be responsible for the cost. What is so sad is that there are probably hundreds of children in the same situation as Ali. Maybe something positive will come of this and shine a light on the problem.

This might have been one of the saddest episodes of Teen Mom. That entire Jenelle situation was SO DANGEROUS! I felt terrible for Jace. She and the other driver share the blame for that incident. He was driving like a jerk but so was she. The fact that she followed him (!!!!) and pulled a weapon on him (!!!!!!!!!!!) was seriously deranged. Plus, Jace isn’t even big enough to be in the front seat. If I were Barbara this single incident would be enough to pull back with visitation. It was just so bad. I feel so bad for that poor kid. Also, this was the only time I have ever agreed with David.

I can’t even watch Briana. She and her family are awful.

For some weird reason my satellite dish got squirrely at the end but, Tamera, Janelle hit his neighbors’ mailbox and not the road rager.

Jenelle should never be allowed to have a carry license. First of all, as we all see she isn’t a responsible owner and her many jail stints due to anger issues. That’s just my opinion. And jace, poor guy. god I just wish I could make a normal happy loving family appear for him. Has he always stuttered? I’ve noticed it just the last few episodes.
Briana well good lord can she do anything without her mom and sister. It’s great to be close but they seem so ready to fight ! I would hate to have people constantly in my business!

This episode was crazy. I don’t care about Kailyn, I only like her kids. I felt terrible and sad for Leah and Alli and the whole issue with the aide. She so desperately needs one to function. Another poor innocent child missing out because of the bullshit politics of the school.
Briana is dumb and I don’t care for her family..the ONLY thing I like to see was Nova and Devoin together ♡♡ that warmed my heart, seeing them spend so much time together and how happy she looks. I hope he goes and gets set visitation with her.
Chelsea and her family are great ♡♡
But Jenelle …. oh my gosh this episode was sick 🙁 no matter what the other driver was doing beforehand, her following him like a moron and antagonizing him was so bad for Jace. I dont care about Jenelle, it’s just the shit Jace has to see and live with and he prob thinks it’s all normal 🙁 I hope courts and or CPS do a thorough investigation on her. She is another one who should ONLY have visits at a visitation center, if any at all!

I have had a bit of an epiphany: there is tremendous overlap between people who should not have guns and people who should not have children.

Jenelle is such trash that she has no regard for her own child’s safety. Jace has so many nervous ticks, always trying to please Jenelle and Barbara. So sad for such a little guy to constantly be under an enormous amount of stress.

I also think Javi and Briana would have worked out if not for her family. Brianna is very easy going.

The Hawaii trip showed the difference between the type of Mom Leah is compared To Kailyn.

What liability if any, does MTV have to the minors on this show? Clearly their consciences are void as Jenelle and David’s kids still live with them. ALL of those babies need to be removed from the home. If they are that bad with cameras on, I hate to imagine what goes on when production is down. They are both terrifying, abusive, neglectful and dangerous parents. I have heard Dr. Phil state before that he is a “mandated reporter” when he is aware of such abuse. As basically employers of the Teen Mom children, where does MTV’s lawful responsibility lie? Briana, her mother and her sister are a cult unto themselves. She is completely brainwashed by the co-dependency. Dysfunction at it’s finest.

I’ll say it again since it drives me cuckoo. Brianna and Brittany’s mom is one of the worse women. Just watch Family Therapy with Jenn whoever on VH1.
She did those girls so dirty, its awful. She needs to judge NO ONE!!!!!

Does anyone know if Janelle can be charged with something now that the episode aired? What about the cop who appeared negligent by leaving Jace in the car with the gun?

I mean wouldn’t this incident cause an internal investigation by the police department?

When she undid her seatbelt and grabbed the gun, the smile on her face proves this chick has zero clue about anything.
Except for a accident waiting to happen. Or worse yet.
Her smile really shook me up.
Jace I’m pretty sure does not know gun safety. He could have turned around and shot. Or worse. An innocent passerby. Himself, ugh, ugh, ugh. MTV DO SOMETHING!!!!!

Wow… if that was someone black with a gun in the car and it was visible, we would have been reading about her funeral arrangements.

Ryan is a drug addict and MTV need to stop filming him period.

Finally, would someone please test Janelle and her psycho ass husband for drugs and give the kids to Barbara.

I know this is a contentious topic but I can’t help myself since I commute an hour to work and an hour drive home everyday.
The left lane is not the fast lane.
The left lane is a PASSING LANE.
Janelle should have been driving in the right-hand lane if she wasn’t passing anybody to begin with.

A lot of people like Jenelle, think if your driving 70 miles an hour in the left lane that’s fast enough and the other car should pass them or slow down. I’m sorry but that’s wrong. Its actually a law in most states.
you shouldn’t be driving in the left lane if you’re not passing someone.
pass on the left get over to the right.
It woud be a better world if everyone did this. Ha!

Have ANY of the women (ye they are women now- NOT teens) graduated from college?? Done ANYTHING worthy? Why are they celebrated? To me this is shameful. The whole series is shameful in the sense that it celebrates celebrity and NOT doing anything to better yourself or your child’s future. The arrests, the drugs, the PORN and now guns? Fabulous.

Kailyn graduated from college. not sure if it was an AS or a four year. Leah, bless her heart, wants to go to community college. She is the worse at narrating her stories. She can barely read.

As for Jenelle I want her or at least Barbara to stay on the show for the sake of the kids. They desperately need monitoring. If this is what we see ON camera, imagine what we don’t say. I really want Nathan to get custody of Kaiser. As for the kid with Jenelle and David, she doesn’t stand a chance.

I’ll preface this by saying I just paid $400 to repair a freezer that’s only two years old, so I’m in a spectacularly pissy mood.

What really gets me is how Jenelle can make the worst possible decisions over and over, break the law, and act wholly irresponsible, but she never suffers any consequences at all. She’s wiggled out of every single criminal charge and evaded consequences from child services even though her neglegint, abusive parenting is well documented.

Not only does she escape accountability every time, but also she’s making thousands of dollars a day while doing it. I am astounded. Absolutely astounded.

Me? I graduated from university and immediately began teaching in public school. I, along with every other public school teacher, was paid a piss poor salary. So poor, in fact, that I left the occupation.

    Let’s get this straight.

Jenelle is arrested multiple times, neglects and abused her children, and sits on her ass all day long while raking in thousands of dollars.

I educated our youth, worked tirelessly, and was barely getting by with two kids to support.

How is that acceptable? Why are bad choices constantly rewarded and good choices devalued?

We are teaching the very children I hoped would make their own good choices that the easier, more lucrative route is to be a Jenelle. We are showing them that what our society values is teen pregnancy, laziness, and mental instability.

When will Jenelle and those like her become positive role models by being kicked off of a television show and being forced to make good decisions in order to survive? It won’t happen until we as a society say we aren’t going to watch these shows anymore. I hope that day is soon because I don’t want my kids living in a world where Jenelle is idolized.

I am no fan of Jenelles husband David but at least he had enough sense to realize she was wrong to follow the other driver to his home. She also pulled her gun out from under her seat while she was still following him. At that time she was in no danger and not blocked in. She was looking for trouble. I hope the police can get ahold of that video in its entirety. Jenelle called Jace a liar when he told Barb she pulled her gun. So sad. I was stunned at how uneffected Jace seemed during the ordeal. This kid has suffered so much mental abuse it’s sickening. I don’t get how someone with a criminal record like Jenelle can get a gun permit.
