Hagood paints. Catherine drinks and whines to Brandon. Daniel and Lyle box. Everything is about Lyle and Catherine. It’s exhausting. Hagood’s parents come and her mother starts critiquing and redecorating her house again. Daniel and Hannah go kayaking. Daniel tries to get Hannah to quit her real job to focus on her “dress line.” Clearly Daniel has never seen anything related to her dress line. It’s literally three pieces of paper with stick figure drawings that look like they were drawn by a four-year old. Don’t quit your day job, Hannah. Hagood takes her parents to see her art studio. He mother starts a lot of sentences with things like, “what you really need to do…” She’s giving me a headache.
Catherine has a new apartment. Daniels cooks dinner for his father and brother and then tells them he is quitting the law firm. Louis goes to NYC to do a pop up shop for his socks. They are $22 a pair. That seems pretty high to me. He sold 200 pairs of socks. Lyle is there with Louis. They are getting drunk and hitting on girls at the bar. Lyle gets a girls number and they text as soon as she leaves. Louis tells Lyle to forget about Catherine she’s just not that into him. Lyle agrees.
Brandon throws a pajama party for the girls. They play champagne pong with antique crystal coupes. The food looks delicious. Hagood got kicked out of summer camp for being a witch. This is literally the most interesting thing that has been said on this episode. One of the PJ party guests breaks a vase. When Brandon and Hannah confront Catherine about seeing another guy behind Lyle’s back, the party comes to a grinding halt. Catherine denies being in a relationship with someone other than Lyle.
Next week: A hunting trip turns ugly.
