Apollo’s side piece in Philly during his marriage to Phaedra Parks, Sherien, was in Atlanta in May of 2017 to film Say Yes To The Dress: Atlanta. Nevermind that her betrothed was in prison and still married, she’s getting married to someone and that is all that really matters, right? Well boys and squirrels, the time finally came to air the episode last night. Let’s check out the blushing bride. The episode guide is a bit shady already, “Bride Sherien is over the moon that she finally gets to go wedding dress shopping! With her fiancé in federal prison for a couple more years, she has time to browse.” Apollo’s release date is August 29, 2020. He has been in prison since September 10, 2014. Is it me or is six years a long time to go without dick?
I’ve never seen this show before and I am already confused. Apparently, the store owners have funny little scenes kind of like that gay guy married to a woman with the obnoxious children whose name I forget. Todd something,
Sherien is only 34? She looks fifty! She arrives with her child and a couple of ladies and a gay guy. She declares her undying love for Apollo. He is her best friend. She falsely claims that Apollo is no longer married to “one of the women on the show.” She wishes he could be there. Really? Does she know how anything works regarding marriage? The groom doesn’t see the dress until the bride walks down the aisle. I suppose when you are engaged to a married man, normal customs do not apply.
Sherien’s daughter who is eight, Layali, jumps in to explain to the producers that Apollo is in federal prison. Sherien has a very convoluted story about how the met years and years ago but were not officially a couple until he was arrested. Again, can you be an official couple if one of you is married? Do you think it became official when Phaedra stopped sleeping with him? Do you think Phaedra stopped sleeping with him?
Sherien says she sent Apollo pictures of dresses and he likes the mermaid ones. We are seven minutes in and I am already over this recap. She wants something sexy. Her budget is 10K. Either she is lying or she got her hands on part of that nearly two million dollars that Apollo stole from Delta retirees and other innocent people.
is one of those kids that is allowed to boss their mother around. She’s running around grabbing dresses for her mother and messing them up while the bridal assistant stands there trying to be polite.
Oh yay! There are other customers on this episode. I need a break from Layali. She’s annoying. This customer has brought her future husband because they plan to get married/renew their vows, in different city every year. Again, this exhausts me.
The eight year all starts yanking a dress off a mannequin and employees have to intervene. Then the kid tells the guy he needs to take these dresses off the mannequin.
Apollo has nearly two million dollars of restitution to pay. This girl is just insane. I wonder if they get paid in store credit to be on the show?
