Oh my, it looks like THE HOUSE on THE LAND is sinking and the ceiling is cracking up. Maybe it just can’t take all the crazy! David talked to the VP of the modular home company about the house. Apparently, the house was not built on a proper foundation. Now there is a metaphor for this entire situation if I ever heard one. Of course he is rude to the guy and starts telling his to shove it up his ass and threatening him with Jenelle’s “twelve million followers.” The man was very understanding and David just kept on running his smart mouth.
Jenelle and David are prepping for the zombie apocalypse. I’d make fun of that if I didn’t have a few things on hand for that situation myself. David gives Jenelle a very weird version of the meeting with the modular home guy. Also when did they get a giant in-ground pool?
Javi stops by to talk to Kailyn to let her know he is being deployed again for six months. Javi is clearly not happy about this. Did he actually get deployed though? It seems like he is always around on social media. They decided not to tell the boys until just before he has to leave. In the meantime he is asking for extra time with the boys. Kail and Javi get in a heated discussion about Brianna. Kail think Javi should tell her not to speak the way she does to the mother of his children. I see her point, Most of the friction between these two is Javi’s fault. He’s doing a terrible job of introducing Brianna into his life and his kids life. He moving way too fast with her, Isaac is going to be more devastated that Lincoln that Javi is going to be deployed.
Kailyn was very emotional when she took Lux for his first supervised visit with his dad. She was feeling like throwing up the whole time. When she went to pick up Lux, Chris would not even acknowledge her.
Next Javi flies down to see Brianna in Orlando. What happened to him wanting extra time with his kid? Brianna seems fine with him being deployed. Javi says to just be at the airport when he gets back please because there was no one there the last time. Brianna doesn’t seem very compassionate toward Javi who is fighting back tears. Javi takes Brianna to get matching tattoos. They are getting king and queen chess pieces. At least they are not getting each others names. Back at home, Javi talks to his sister about Brianna. Javi falls too fast for people. Oh holy hell! Javi has bought an engagement ring. His sister tries to talk him out of it, but he is not listening.
Leah is getting ready to plan Addie’s fifth birthday party. It seems like Leah and Jeremy are going to get back together. Leah says she is not interested, but at the same time admits they have hooked up. She goes to pick up Addie for Jeremy’s place and they have a conversation about how much Leah has changed. Jeremy says that Addie is always talking about how her mommy and daddy aren’t together anymore. Leah blurts out that she told production that they have been hooking up. Jeremy asked what she thought about the two of them getting back together. Jeremy was serious but Leah blew it off as a joke.
Cole took Aubree to see her grandparents and they are still very angry about the visitation changes. Their anger seems to be directed at Chelsea and the grandma wants to talk to her. Cole said she would have to talk to him. Grandma says that they blindsided them with the change in visitation and they have no idea how many people they have hurt. Apparently, the grandparents don’t believe that their son is on drugs, despite an arrest and a failed drug test. The grandma apparently also told Aubree that her mother was lying to her about her father.
I heard some interesting news about next season. It seems that Jo and Vee don’t want to be a part of the show anymore and Jo doesn’t want Isaac on it either. Chris doesn’t want Lux on it. So that means only Lincoln will be on camera. Kail and Lincoln don’t seem very interesting. In addition, since David is fired, they have decided not to have any of their kids on camera either. Jace is the only one who will still be filmed, mostly with Barbara. So, to recap, two of the teen moms will be on Teen Mom without the kids. Isn’t that the whole point of the show?
What do you think about these changes for next season?
I’m glad that Jenelle will have very limited screen time from sound of things. Maybe it’s time to consolidate the two shows? Leah, Maci, and Chelsea as the main cast with the other Moms being part time.
Unfortunately, Jenelle is trying to negotiate with MTV that David be allowed to be around during filming (just not actually be filmed) and that MTV pay for him to go to reunions and specials. Also, they hired a new girl for Teen MOm OG to replace Farrah so Unfortunately these shows are continuing.
Time to wrap it up and let these adult moms move forward with their lives and their 8 year old kids.
Jenelle & David are horrible at parenting. Not surprised to hear they won’t be filming with the children. Time for MTV to stop indulging & rewarding their putrid behavior towards those kids.
Aren’t there such things as building inspectors and surveyors who would decide on what kind of foundation a manufactured home should have? As much as I dislike David, and get frustrated with Janelle, I feel really sorry for them if their home is sinking. It seems like a problem with the foundation should have been caught before the house was placed into position. Can’t imagine finding that kind of information out about your home. Wishing them well. Janelle will probably discover she really needs that Teen Mom money to fix all the problems, so she needs to have a bit of an attitude adjustment and keep David far way from the cameras.
A modular home on swamp land was bound to be an issue eventually.
The house should have been stilted, but that’s on the Easons. Additionally, that pool, will probably be rising out of the swamp at a later date. Fun times, fun times.
This points to the level of intelligence these two have. Someone laughed all the way to the bak with their money. Buying wetland to live on isn’t bright but trying to hold a builder accountable is ridiculous. 12” if soil underneath would not have mattered. They were warned. I agree about stilts but the only place that I want a house with stilts is the beach
No, unfortunately….it is totally up to the home buyer what type of foundation they want to pay for…whether is just tethered down by stakes or actually put on a brick or cement block foundation. Also, unfortunately many people who buy these manufactured homes/modular homes don’t have the land they buy or rent checked for percolation (how well the soil drains) since this type of home doesn’t usually have the same type loans as a “stick built” home. The banks and mortgage companies that finance a normal construction would check the soil and wouldn’t let a home be built on swamp or even in a known flood plain. And even if they “were warned” shame on any one who did it anyway and took their money….they should be sued for lack of FIDUCIARY RESPONSIBILTY. Any one who is taking advantage of ignorance and laughing their way to the bank should be sued at the very least. SMDH….
I agree that it is time for the Teen Mom 2 to take a break. The kids are getting older and, if they are not already, there will be some hackling from kids at school. It is time for them to have a childhood.
As someone previously suggested, a holiday special or a catch up episode would be nice to see how much the kids have grown – but that’s it.
Also, I think the moms are not all that thrilled at having the cameras around themselves. They are hiding aspects of their real lives and in most instances very aware of the non- reactions they have to give on when the filming.
For instance, it wasn’t until I read the comments from this site that I realized that Leah’s whole line, “I am taking time for myself and not dating anyone,” was in fact a lie. She had a full blown relationship going and the guy was actually living at her house (this was either one or two seasons ago).
They are all craving privacy and they deserve some after all these years of filming.
Lux is such a godawful name.
The way I see it is the longer they are on TV the more immature and stupid mistakes they will continue to make because it drives up the ratings. All of the mom’s are way to old to be still jumping in and out of different guys beds and having their children with people who don’t care about them. Grow up and get off the TV. Your children are suffering from your bad decisions.
Aubree should not visit her grandparents anymore after that comment by Adam’s mother.
Correct me if I’m wrong but werent jenelle and stupid head told before they built on the land that it wasnt safe to build on? I seem to remember them being told something to that effect on a previous season.
There is only one good reason for any of the kids to be filmed and this really only pertains to Jenelle’s kids.. I fear that the abuse is worse when they are not on camera but the times on camera may finally get CPS to wake up.
I will watch but I agree.. for the sake of most of them, filming should stop.
Everyone has seen it. Many have reported it. What good is it really doing for any of them?
What was the deal with the way David treated the Sherrif? Oh what a big bad dude he is. I don’t think I have heard of anything like that before. Watching them on MTV won’t make them safe. It wouldn’t surprise me if David wouldn’t be proud of his own Waco like event.
That scene between David and the home guy irked me. David throwing his wife’s weight around like that. He is such a punk. Dumbass was on the land every day while they assembled his mansion. Why didn’t he stop them? Was anyone else surprised that this is a modular home? Like we need more paranoid armed survivalists worried about conspiracies, hating and abusing children living in a trailer on land that they are sinking into. I say save the children and let them sink.
What is the point of having a teen mom if the child is not part of the story Kail?
Jenelle, the world has spoken, NO DAVID! If production is reluctant to work around him then NO DAVID. I personally could do without Jenelle. She is David’s puppet there is not a bit of difference. Maybe when Jenelle hooks up with a sane caring man I would be interested.
Brianna? Why did they add her in. All MTV wants is a women behaving badly show.
I really like to watch Chelsea grow and raise her family.
I think this show is done
After the egos, spouses, cast calling shots, I think shut it down, and teach them all a life lesson. It will probably be the most responsible thing to do.
Also, shut down Teen Mom OG, and keep the much more realistic Teen Mom Y&P.
I vote for shut it down however I do feel awful for Leah. The children’s fathers work and no doubt have insurance but Ali probably needs more than insurance provides. Im am sure that Leah and Chelsea’s children will receive all the suppirt they need from their families. Surely Kail could market her skills and education and Javi will provide for Lincoln. Did anyone in the group bank some money? I remember Tyler Baltierra commenting that they had 41 orders that week. That kind of volume wont keep them afloat.
It’s amazing to me that most of them haven’t prepared for their futures. Joe never worked, the men in Amber’s life guve up their jobs when they move in. It worries me but it isn’t my responsibility nor is their anything that MTV or I can do to stop it.
Oops, forgot dear addled Ryan Edwards, he hasn’t worked or started a business or a legal one anyway
Did anyone else see how many prescription bottles were on Jenelle & David’s kitchen counter? I think I counted 15. I haven’t commented on the house or their sick and twisted relationship yet. smdh.
OMG I noticed that too, also in addition to the small pharmacy on the counter top there was a jar of moonshine on the island. Now I have no issues with people that drink, but in a household with small children medication and alcohol need to be out of the reach of little hands. And damn giel clean your kitchen lol that place was as filthy as Briana’s pig penm ugh these girls are such a bad example.
Yes!!!!! There were so many rx bottles I was shocked!! And the thought of living with David makes me shudder even watching on tv. He is so scarily unbalanced and combative, he reminds me of the kind of patients that come into the ER i work at that are so violent that it takes several security guards just to walk them to a bathroom. I have this bad feeling that The Land is going to be torn down and covered up with sod sometime in the future after David has some kind of crazy drug and alcohol fueled shootout between himself and Jenelle or Nathan or whoever he’s upset with at the time. It makes me worry for those innocent kids.
Noticed that.
Also noticed the hole in the door perhaps made by a fist?
yep, noticed the whole in the door too. That hole is from a fist. My teenage son did that to our door when he had a meltdown about homework and when he moved out for college, as landlords he was billed accordingly.
I hung in on this show for a long time, but it’s over. Also, Lux? Wow.
