I haven’t been paying that much attention to Abby Lee. But from the looks of her Instagram, she had some serious looking surgery that required a huge incision and dozens of staples in her back. Ouch! She has been having her nails done in the hospital. She looks like she has been getting her makeup do in the hospital. Apparently, it really is better to look good than to feel good.
Today’s post above says she has two more days left until she is free. I’m not quite sure if that means free from the hospital or free from the halfway house or both. Okay, I did some searching and it seems like both. I’m not sure we actually know if she has lymphoma or a spinal infection. There are conflicting stories.
The “who do I sue?” line was a bit intriguing. But when I looked at her Instagram as a whole she’s been doing the rhyming thing the last few days, so it may not be meant to take literally.
She looks amazing. Wow!
I think the way “the system” mistreated Abby Lee has been disgraceful and appalling.
I am so happy to see her smiling and looking so good.
I think she’s very loved and this may help her see it.
Thanks for the update.
May 25 is officially the end of her prison sentence. She’ll be off parole and free to live as she chooses. I was sentenced to felony probation for a drug related charge, and it was a big fucking deal to me. I can only imagine how freeing and amazing it feels to be released from parole, which is a much more rigorous and constricting process.
On just probation, I was subject to random drug tests. I’d call an automated system every morning, and it would tell me if I had to drive 45 minutes to test. I had to quit my job to complete my community service. Not to mention the regular, inconvenient meetings with my probation officer and the money spent paying for the privelidge of being on probation.
All of that to say that ain’t shit compared to what Abby went through. They strip you of your rights and dignity (I’m talking about you, lady who watched me pee.) to punish you. On Friday, Abby will leave the indignity of her sentence behind, and I could not be more thrilled for her. She really did get a pretty lousy sentence for her crime. Congrats, Abby Lee!
She will still be on parole for whatever period of time after being released from custody.
She was sentenced to 366 days in prison. Unless she had her sentence shortened….this I do not know…she will be on parole until the 366 days completed.
Bri, big congratulations to you. I’ve watched people struggle to follow parole rules, restrictions and there was no privacy.
I don’t know the percentage but I bet the return to prison while on parole is quite high. Probation seemed easier for some though. Maybe it was the charge.
Abby’s charge was not drugs or alcohol, it won’t be as rough.
High five girl!
I am so excited for her and hopefully she will be well soon. I can’t wait to see what her next adventure will be. I am hoping for another show where she teaches or judges dancing. Hold your head high Abby Lee Miller, you are amazing while all those “Dance Moms” are monsters.
Really happy she is getting out – especially after her awful health problems coming on top of the prison sentence – for what was a whole lot less destructive to society than many who are never put away because they have money and power to avoid the enforcement system. Very harsh punishment in her case.
I imagine getting herself to look good will be really helpful to her self esteem, confidence and feelings of being able to push onwards and upwards in life – after being stripped of privacy and most else in prison.
It looks like she’s grabbing her boobs and saying there’s only two. But I’m under the influence of codeine at the moment, so I’m probably not making sense either.
I wish her well!
Looks the same to me and only one glass of Pino in…waiting on NY!
I wish her the very best as well!
Damn! *Pinot! All credibility gone!
I also thought she was talking about her chest.
Seriously? This lady did basically did some of the crap that the Guidices did, just on a smaller scale. No matter if you stole a piece of pie or a whole pie…you stole pie!! I don’t get all the Abby love.
Yup, kind of agree with this!!
I also agree.
Prior to her legal trouble I occasionally felt sorry for her, she was a mess, but never liked her. Maybe she will find her happy place now.
Right?! I don’t know how people can feel sorry for her, she knew she was breaking the law and did it anyway.
She looks Great !!
I don’t want to see anyone as sick as Abby Lee. I do wish her well and hope that she heals. I don’t excuse her past ways but I think it should wait until she has her time to recover.
She looks great! Good luck to her
I believe she was referring to the fact that she didn’t receive aimmediate ccess to medical treatment while in jail which may have affected the severity of her illness….
Best of luck Abby Lee. I still have you on my preset . Hope to see you soon on a new show.
I would watch Abby if and when she returns to TV. I’m okay even if it is as a renewed “Dance Moms.” I am very much on the same page with her about the philosophy of not attending competitions where EVERYBODY gets a “trophy” for their mere presence/participation. It is sometimes more important a life lesson to learn that not everyone can always win and learning to lose and handle it is essential to being able to navigate through life with greater success.
Welcome back, Abby. Unless people have ever walked through your recent life experiences, some will just never “get it.” Don’t waste your time or energy trying to educate them, even about going through your weight loss and health challenge journeys. That’s not your job or responsibility. Ive been there and its such a private journey few have traveled. Just move forward and make peace with God and with yourself. The world will keep on turning.
My hope is that Abby will use her experience to draw some attention and work on reform for some of the less fortunate who end up in prison. They don’t have the platform she does. She could actually do some good with her celebrity status to make some changes in the prisons concerning medical care for those incarcerated and the release programs. I believe strongly that if you do a crime you should pay for said crime. That being said you should still be treated humanely.
Considering she’s a scammer who always wants to blame someone else…. I have zero sympathies for her. I doubt she had cancer and most likely she had an infection. If she had cancer why wasn’t she undergoing some kind of treatment other than surgery? Where’s the chemotherapy? Where’s the radiation therapy? If she sues then she opens herself up to ALL of her medical records being made public.
