60 Days In: The Aftermath

March 23, 2018 by tamaratattles 46 Comments

Y’all. I AM SO HERE FOR THIS MOMENT! Let’s get to dragging Stephanie and Angele! It looks like the finale is going to be an hour and a half so my spelling is going to get worse and so is my use of the wrong words. I’ve been a bit under the weather today so if you are the grammar and spelling police, stop reading now, and please go find another website. I’m really excited for all the new people; however, PLEASE go read the commenting rules if you haven’t already. Thanks.

The reunion was filmed before the season aired. That means they have no idea how the public perceives them. Soledad O’Brien is the host. Jaclin still has no idea how bad Stephanie sold her out and is polite. Alan didn’t know Nate was in the program. Andrew has his suspicions about Nate immediately but when he found out how long he had been in he decided that would not be possible. Nate knew about Alan and Andrew immediately because they were white.

Then we see them seeing footage for the first time. Angele is shown trying to fight someone and she thinks it is funny. Jaclin is shocked to see Angele being aggressive. She says Angele is such a good hearted person and she just can’t believe the things she did in there.

Soledad starts with Matt. Matt and Andrew are both very uncomfortable watching Matt’s journey. BTW, Matt has clean hair. Andrew is adorable.

Next is Jaclin. They show her talking about her daughter’s death. I know what happened. I can not tell you how many cunts tried to post painful accusations about Jaclin on this site. In fact this season of this show has brought out more nutbars than any show ever. Each week there would be racists vitriol, vicious attacks on Jaclin and Angele. It was a very difficult season to cover. Those of you who have been around for awhile know I am harsh gatekeeper with the comments here. I do not want to fill my brain with reading racist shit and vile attacks. I’ve made mention recently in the RHOBH comments that things are getting a bit over the top with she unbridled vitriol toward reality show participants. All of these comments are things I have to read and filter through my brain every day and I try to filter all of that out. A year or so ago I was trying to help everyone with their problems and every depressing comment about health issues or deaths or financial issues I was totally absorbing and I am really worried that we are going to the dark side again here. So that is why only about half of the comments get through these days. There are just a lot of angry people out there and I’m just trying to find my Zen.

Anyway, Jaclin’s scenes were hard for her to watch and even Angele seemed emotional watching her have a breakdown with producers. Soledad says people would understand if she went home after being triggered by the loss of her daughter and it is very clear that she blames herself for her daughter’s death (which was accidental) and that she wanted to punish herself by going to jail. This is heartbreaking. Angele seems touched as does Matt. She doesn’t believe that she deserves happiness.  Angele gets up and hugs Jaclin and tells her it is okay and she has to forgive herself. Why am I crying at a 60 Days In Reunion. This is heavy shit.

It’s time for Crazy Eyes. They play a clip of her lowlights. EVERYONE is responding with shock and disbelief. This is the first Jaclin knows of this. Angele seems beyond shocked as do the guys. Stephanie is laughing while watching with the Crazy Eyes. Even the grey contacts can’t hide the crazy.  Jaclin GOES OFF on her and tells her she will find her and beat her ass.

Soledad asks Crazy Eyes why she would want to sabotage another participant. She says there was a target already on her and she just helped it along. Stephanie doesn’t regret what she has done that she refers to as her success. Johnny steps up to make Stephanie answer the question about whether or not she is happy that Stephanie dropped out. She says she is. Nate confronts her too. So does Matt. Matt says Stephanie needs to give Jaclin an apology. And she needs to give them all an apology.  When Jaclin says she thought she was on Survivor, she said “exactly, and here I am on the season finale.” Then Soledad tells her she seems like a sociopath. I love Soledad. The colonel agrees with her. She says her own family tells her she has a problem feeling feelings. She says if she owe anyone an apology as Matt said it is just for Jaclin. Jaclin says, so let’s hear the apology!  She gives a half-assed apology.

It’s time for Johnny. He says the experience has changed his relationship with his son and he writes him a lot more and realizes that kids need their parents not matter how old they are and what the circumstances are. He says he loves Emmanuel now and realizes that he is young and hasn’t been exposed to the streets before.

Emmanuel seems a bit embarrassed by his behavior. He says he was trying to be the voice for the people who were being mistreated. Emmanuel seems to think he was trying to effect change with some of his behaviors toward the COs. The Colonel tries to argue with him, but I really do think Bucchi had a point in there to some degree. The whole camera tour and Black Lives Matter debacle were mistakes. But I think he did come from a good place of wanting to effect change.

Next is Alan. Alan said he was a bit terrified of the Atlanta County Jail but he wanted to show the human side of police officers and that he can be human and make friends. When they roll his tape, Angele rolls her eyes. Clearly, she hates cops. Alan says that going through the experience opened his eyes to the point that he gets the frustrations with law enforcement. Angele is hot. She says she hates that the women inmates are dehumanized. The male inmates are dehumanized. And she hates that all of the clip are about the gang bangers.  The Colonel jumps in to say she is making excuses for that violence. He says the minute a police officer jumps on somebody all of social media comes out to have social commentary. They start talking about black on black crime. The Colonel says the minute a cop is involved they need to have social protests. Soledad says there is no such thing as black on black crime. Oh shut the fuck up Soledad. You do this every reunion. You act like you are the expert and the actual black people, or cops, or female inmates or whatever don’t know what they are talking about. There is A SHIT LOAD of black on black crime. Don’t believe me? Go to the south side of Chicago. Or just check out TMZ. Take several seats. And saying that crimes most often occur on the same race just proves that your hypothesis is WRONG. Then she says disproves her theory again talking about police and civilian crimes.

Now Angele and Alan are seething quietly. Soledad wants to know why. Angele says in not so many words that The Colonel is on the side of white people. Soledad says he is on the side of law enforcement. Alan is barely able to contain himself but says”Heaven forbid he is on the side of law enforcement!”

Soledad asks how this has impacted Alan’s job as a cop. He says he is not full-time in law enforcement anymore. He says he could do it knowing if he arrested someone for having a dime bag of weed they would go where he went. That makes me sad and makes me wonder what he is doing now. I sort of want him to be a high school teacher, but that is an even scarier job than law enforcement. I didn’t even finish my second year.

Next up is the people that did drugs in prison. Angele thinks this is funny. She did drugs, Stephanie did drugs. The guys are shocked. Nate asked if they were not worried about getting arrested. How great would it be if those two were arrested during the finale? One can dream. As Angele was answering she said in this jail it’s not about wanting to fix things it’s about wanting to control. The Colonel says,”What do you mean?” And Angele shoots back, “You can’t control me on the outside.” And the Colonel was like, “I just asked a question!”  Didn’t she come on this show TO HELP LAW ENFORCEMENT MAKE THINGS BETTER?  Why she gotta be such a cunt to the man she signed up to work for and then destroyed the program?

Nate says that that in some sense going to Iraq was easier than doing four months in jail. Nate says he misses a lot of the inmates. Nate is wonderful, everyone loves him, blah, blah, blah.

It’s time to get to Angele. Soledad explains that Angele intentionally broke her cover and caused the whole damn thing to be shutdown.  Alan says that would have put him in imminent harm. You can tell at this point Angele is still in love with Gabby.

Angele says she is not making excuses for herself. The she starts going in on Alan for “being on the oppressors side” Bitch, he was doing the same thing you were. He learned A LOT without licking box or sucking dick. He can’t even work as a cop anymore. And you want to blame shift to him? Colonel Adger steps in to defend Alan. I mean Christ on a Cracker you dumb bitch. He’s a cop LITERALLY LIVING THE OTHER SIDE.  Alan says he could have been straight up murdered in that jail for being a cop.  And Angele shoots back with some shit talking about him not being in danger on the outside? Emmanuel says that is the life black people go through every day. That’s not truth. You only go through it when you come into contact with the police. That is not every day in jail locked up with no place to go. I can tell you that I drive slow at the speed limit in the right hand lane all the time for a reason. I ain’t giving nobody an excuse to pull me over. I see how it is.

Okay, look. I think this reunion was taped after everyone got out but also right after everyone got home for five minutes. Now Angele is saying she is thinking about Gabby when she is with other women? So she went straight to the U-Haul lot to meet someone new? Where is that undying love? LOL.  Angele says that sure Gabby lied and deceived her but… BUT WHAT? You were played girl and you ruined the entire experience because YOU GOT PLAYED.  The sociopath said she knew Gabby was deceitful but you do you. I mean come on. All the girls said in the women’s pods a lot of sex was going on.

Angele says she has no regrets and doesn’t feel bad. The guys particularly are furious because they could have been killed in there. They were not over there braiding hair. They say if she doesn’t have regrets then any apology for the danger they were in rings hollow. She says fine, she has regrets.

Soledad says that Angele is a conundrum, she is very streetwise but also ridiculously naive. Nah she’s just horny and wants what she wants. Then she apologizes.

Matt tries to explain the pee in a cup story. It does not go well.

Thanks for the recap. I did not know Jaclin lost a child. Very heartbreaking and I wish her love and happiness in her life now. Yep. Stephanie is a sociopath. I feel for Alan because he acts like he’s traumatized. Buchi was well intentioned, but he didn’t get he wasn’t going to effectuate change while he was in there. Andrew seemed to have gained confidence in himself and it looked good on him. Johnny was a straight talker, and although he spoke kindly, he didn’t hold back.

Angeles is a very angry woman. I’m surprised she passed the psych test to participate. She has passion and love and it sounds like she is doing worthwhile community work. I believe she will be a great me too for others someday, as long as she keeps her love heart under control.

As a side note, today reading RHOBH comments reminded me of the tone around Nov. 2016, meow.

I’ll keep my comments lighter and less dark in the future.

Matt’s pee story was painful to listen to. He should have just kept his mouth shut and not remind everyone again! It was bad enough watching it the first time.
At least his hair looked clean (er).

    Andrew looked handsome.

    Great recap!

Looking forward to the “Where are they now” show next week.

    Thanks, TT.

I’m glad that it went longer than an hour. There was too much to talk about. I’ll have more to say later, but for now… I just wanted to put out there that it will be a long time before Stephanie and Angele realize what a great gift Johnny and Matt gave to them.
Outside of what they said tonight, though… I don’t think that they should try to stay in touch with any of the other participants after this. Talking about it in this venue is one thing, but when they go back and watch each episode again, maybe over and over, it’s gonna’ be a different situation.

    Johnny looked good. : )

I was reading, I was reading, I was enjoying this, then you mentioned Chicago and I was done.

Soledad is a Black Latina. The concept of Black on Black crime…no, I’m not going into this here, but damn I’m disappointed in you. Sorry, but I am.

If the murder rate in Chicago due to black on black crime is a trigger for you, you may need to skip the news channels and Internet feeds. It’s been front page news for the last several years.

I think, (excuse me Karen if I don’t explain thiswell) the problem is comparing black on black crime with the injustice towards minority’s in the justice system, includes law enforcement on the street level. That is where the frustration, marches and anger comes from, not the community crimes.

Most crimes committed in a community are committed by those living in it or nearby the community. Thusly our neighbors, that would be blacks or whites depending where you live.

Mentioning black on black crime is heard as blacks are programmed to criminal behavior, or the black community is not aware of what’s going on or not understanding the injustices they are faced with. That is what they hear when that comment is made.

They want all of us to acknowledge the justice system in its totality is biased against minority’s, that is a larger concern to them than community crimes. They want fair treatment under the law, on the streets and in the court system. That has nothing to do with community crimes.

… getting ready for the flames.

Soledad schooled the Colonel on crime. Police killings if Blacks or anyone for that matter is not the same as civilian on civilian crime because of they represent authority. Big difference and if you can’t understand that and why she was correct to be outraged by a Black man voicing his Blue opinions about the murder of people in his own community by representative’s of a corrupt and racist system then you have problems

Funny, I heard it the exact opposite way. She just tried to sweep aside a statistic with that statement rather than delve into a conversation, which is essentially the same thing I will do here to spare TT and the rest that are tired of this bs rhetoric and other people uncomfortable with facts whenever it doesn’t suit them. That childish statement and Steph’s “apology” were the two major low points of the show imho. That is all I will say for now.

Sound Trumpian – about 92% of crime against Blacks are by Blacks and 87% of crimes against White’s are by White’s. No big statistical difference. First all and Second all no one cares that you are tired of hearing about while families are losing their loved ones at the hands of individuals sworn to protect them. PERIOD

I didn’t see that post as particularly vitriolic by our standards around here. I do see it as some people not being able to acknowledge two ideas at once that have nothing to do with the other accept for a lot of people dying, like black on black murders in the inner cities and police brutality being significantly more likely to occur on a black man than other citizens. Dismissing one or the other of those facts by saying they don’t exist as if it some how makes the other fact more important is fallacy.

Then I will step up my response game the next time I get a reply like that. I think you hit the nail on the head. I felt her (well ok all of them) talking over the Colonel and using deflection was problematic as well. Just because the numbers don’t skew in the direction one wants is no reason to write a whole new spreadsheet and formula. Unless it is the SCI and its hilarious mix of miscategorized facts lol

Tamara, calling someone triggered is the lazy persons way of understanding subject matter. As a Black person I’ve never even set foot in Chicago, and yet that’s the one place anyone chooses to mention in regards to Black criminal actitivy, when Chicago doesbt even have the highest crime rate in the nation.

I was being respectful in simply stating my objection to your words without going into detail with facts, as I don’t think this is the place for it. I’ll thank Calipatti for doing so in a way I wasn’t prepared to in that moment.

What I fail to understand is that since the last majority of Black people do not live in Chicago, why the murder rate there I’d the constant topic of conversation and is the poster child for this notion of Black on Black crime?

If I have to personally take responsibility for that city, what city can I reasonably blame a random white person for and it be perfectly acceptable? How about DC since the political gamesmanship there should be criminal? Yes. It’s the seat of White on White crime!

Karen I feel you. I do take exception to the Black on Black crime issue because though as real as White on White crime or Black on White crime or White on Black crime issues it is used as misdirection by those attempting to sweep away the injustices of government representative’s if power (Cops) killing unarmed citizens where there is a clear lack of proof that their safety was in jeopardy. What perplexes me is that these same people feel they need assault rifle’s to protect themselves from those same government forces. Go figure

        Tamara
The phrase Black on Black crime is nauseating to me….not because I don’t believe that crimes are being committed against black people by black people. I am very aware of this. It is often the topic of conversation within the community. The problem with the phase is that it implies that black people are inherently flawed and exceptionally twisted. Why? Because they commit crimes against ….themselves. Gasp. However the reality is that this is typical of every race. Im so glad Solidad called him out. That phrase is meant to discredit and villify blacks to deflect from their complaints. Conservative talk shows have popularized the Chicago example as their fight song. What they never mention is how Chicago got this way. Chicago had historically been the epitome of corruption. A legacy of corrupt policing. I won’t even get into how complicit the cops were in the gun and drug infiltration of our cities…point is that black folks cant even point out policing problems because black on black blah blah. This chief knew what he was doing. He could have easily said that they are dealing with high crime areas, repeat offenders, violent gangs..etc. But he threw the jab because someone complained about the boys in blue. And this is the deflection. Also am I the only one that can’t stand Andrew? Matt makes me want to gauge my eyes out. Stephanie is the worse and Angele is dumb.as.you know what.

Wonderful and thoughtful post. You hit the nail on the head. Somehow people can’t or won’t understand that the “Black on Black” crime talking point resulted from individuals and groups that used this to deflect from a group of individuals sanctioned by the State to serve and protect when they use these powers to murder unarmed citizens

I am so frustrated with Angele and Stephanie. They can’t see beyond themselves and see the effect their actions have on others. I can only imagine the participants have to go thru some type of psychological eveluation before they can be allowed to enter the program. How did their immature and narcissistic personalities go unnoticed?

Not sure that Angele is a narcissist. I think she is just super immature and hasn’t had a lot of experience outside of her world. Maybe she hasn’t really had to be accountable for her own actions. She doesn’t seem like a nutjob. She seems like lots of young folks who are really focused on themselves and their own happiness. I think, even in the course of the reunion, she was starting to understand that it’s not all about her. Stefanie, on the other hand, just seem set in her ways of being difficult and self-centered.

So many layers to the Angele story.
It would have been more “loving” for Angele to have waited to get intimate with Gabrielle until after the job she had for the Colonel. ‘Even more loving not to have encouraged any romance at all. The problem was really that she was afraid that it WASN’T really love and tried to force it. I do think that she got caught up in it because she was looking for something, whether she was conscious of it or not, and probably WAS afraid to lose it.
When you are more mature, you understand that love doesn’t always (or usually) mean sex.
Even more confusion comes when other cellmates truly think that drugs, nakedness and sex may actually be a demonstration of love. We just assumed, I guess, that all of the participants were going to be good examples to them. Instead, in this case, she just became one of them.
(A movie comes to mind that may demonstrate this type of thing. It’s called “Devil’s Advocate” with Keanu Reeves and Al Pacino. A lot of people learn visually these days. Maybe watching this will help people think about it. It’s about getting caught up in stuff because you are tempted by something that is important to you.)

I knew this gorgeous cop in San Jose that quit the force as well…Buchi runs his mouth too much however he did get them to come and clean the walls in his cell…Andrew is a doll baby, love him…his dad is weird…Jaclin was wild, she let Stef have it and Stef backed down…Johnny is kinda hot…Angele is very young, naive, and immature…Colonel Adger knows what goes on in that jail but (acts) so surprised at what they tell him, oh please.

Did anybody else notice how Angele stuttered and stammered when asked if she was still with Gabbi ? She never answered the question.

So tired of bad behavior being rewarded. It really sends the wrong message to the younger generation who think IGfamous = free no-work-for money gravy train that more often than not ends up broke with rugburns on knees and abused with no core use or values as a human being. Can’t even plant corn or catch a fish. Yet somehow these people dictate our politics and thoughts in the form of idiotic following and retweets 🙁

I really enjoy this show. I think the “goal” is honorable, though I am unsure of how new any of the information is. It would have been cool to see all the participants who were in the FCJ come together for a chat.

I thought the back and forth over the police was the most interesting. I could not believe that the Colonel said that inmates fighting each other and cops fighting people on the street were the same. No, they are not. The difference is power. Those cops are out there to enforce the law and are coming from a place of power. I felt that Alan was being sincere in his comments about how his views have changed and how they changed immediately once he entered the jail. Interesting that both cops who have gone through the program have had a hard time going back to being cops.

Angele is just super young. She almost seems like she is playing a tough act. I totally buy into her whole lack of love theory. She really does seem to play into anything that makes her feel loved and accepted.

Stefanie is blah. She just sucks. I did appreciate that she apologized to Jaclin, maybe it wasn’t whole-hearted but it was an apology.

I think this world needs more Johnny’s. He did an amazing job of reading between the lines and trying to bridge the gap between both sides multiple times. He should take over Soledad’s job next time!

Andrew – His participation made him seem more like a supporting character and not someone with a purpose, but I love that he had the patience and heart to help his cellmate. I feel that he was very lucky to be in a group that didn’t end up beating him up, though… not necessarily for something he did, but because he doesn’t look like someone who would fight back.

Angele – The danger with being a person who uses physical intimidation or threat brings a lot of potential trouble. At some point, you’re gonna’ be tempted to use it for real. If she thinks that “spreading love” to everyone is the one solution that no one ever thought of before… I’d say she’s wrong. If she thinks that the result of “spreading more love” should end in drug abuse, stripping and random sex… I’d say she’s wrong. I agree and sympathize with a desire to make this world a more loving place, but it would still result in making laws that allowed persons and their property to be respected and protected. The problem is still more about the criminal system not being able to make people adjust their actions. Making a “criminal’s” life better should be separate from the jail system itself. It’s there to let them know that they did something that society has decided, as a group, is wrong and that there is a payment, in time and loss, that needs to be payed. Humanely, yes….
I think that she reacted in a defensive, embarrassed way. She was given a chance to acknowledge and was smart enough to take it. Of course, she will go back to a life where she may not be treated in a totally fair way. All I can say about that is… we are learning more as we go, starting to see more of both sides of a given situation. Those shows about real life police calls is showing us more of what things are like, though I know that it does not expose all sides of this multi-dimensional issue.

Emmanuel – I like the idea that he seemed to want to be peacemaker… whenever he wasn’t arguing with the CO’s, anyway. I recognize that he tried to bring unfairness to light. I don’t think that the audience will ever know if the problem with the blood on the walls would have been ignored if he only mentioned it quietly to a CO. Yelling it out, basically was a surefire way that it would be on video though. I appreciate that he said, in the end, that he wasn’t as much of a “bad ass”, I think he said.

Jaclin – We saw one way that a woman’s feeling of guilt can take over her emotions. I think that one of those ways was to make her very angry. I think that her need to make things fair was the cause of the arguments that she had with those guards. I’m not so sure that the abuse that she claimed to experience, concerning the dragging and nail breaking wasn’t exaggerated. I’m sure that the guards must get tired, though after seeing some of the same complaints from inmates. ‘Still not an excuse if the guard was being unprofessional. Her relationship with Stephanie was hard to watch. I was actually surprised at her description of Angele at the Aftermath show. It’s a good example of how any one person is so multi-dimensional. She was right to leave when she did.

Johnny – I give his thoughts and ideas more credibility than any of the others. His history with gang life and then later his growth as a father and a more positive member of society are what young people need to hear about, IMO. I notice that his value is strengthened by having another helping him, though. In the final days, when he fell back into wanting to use violence to solve a problem was a weakness that shows that we all probably need the help of someone else to keep our emotions under control. I’m saying that Matt was probably good for him…. I know… Lol.

Matt – My first impression was that he was like those fake evangelists on tv who have to make everything sound so dramatic and emotional. Then I thought… he’s trying to get an acting job (not so different). Then the whole sparring thing where he tried to impress everyone to think that he was the alpha dog… I was thinking that he just doesn’t get it. I couldn’t understand how he was going to use the threat of violence to help anyone. I didn’t buy his story about doing everything for his son.
I was proud of him a little at the Aftermath show, but it seems everyone can be wise when it doesn’t involve them. Lol.

Nate – I respect his ability to hang with anyone without judgement, and his willingness to stay longer than anyone else. He was a good representative of a serviceman (sorry if that’s not the right term),
He just seemed like an overall cool customer. I believe that his friendships were all real. Good job. : )

Stephanie – She needs some therapy. Enough said.

Was this whole season an experiment to see how different types react to being in this situation, more than it was about finding more info. Maybe it was a way to get on video information that people can use in the future to think of ways to get better, socially and logistically.
I was actually impressed at how Solidad hit all of my major concerns and still came off sounding like she understood the implications of how it all came across.

Now I wish that there was a means to offering our own suggestions about changes.

Stephanie is a sociopath, I think Angele is just not too bright.

TT thank you for your hard work and effort in maintaining your blog ♡♡ I look forward to it everyday and I’m sorry to read here that you have dealt with so many ugly comments 🙁

Jaclin – I love her. She seems like a smart sweet but broken hearted woman. I could feel her pain watching those clips and I cried too seeing her get so upset and then when Angele hugged her. Hope she gets some peace in her life ♡

Angele – the best part of her on the reunion was her genuine concern for Jaclin when she hugged her. After that, she was a train wreck. She was seething and bitching the whole time and would probably argue with her own shadow..Funny how she wouldn’t really answer and question about Gabrielle….

Matt – I really liked him at the reunion… But the cup and prostate story almost made me want to vomit.

Andrew, Nate Emmanuel – glad to see they were doing well

Johnny – He is hot and I love how he spoke to people. He seems like a great guy. So much respect for him turning his life around from his youth ♡♡

Stephanie – Awful. She had zero feelings or conscience and that’s scary. So glad she got busted out in front of the cast for her nasty ways.

If Soledad O’Brien had said there is more white on white crime than black on white crime for some reason, that is true. The race on race thing is true due largely to nearness. It is also true that the black population is poorer, there is more abject poverty. Where there is poverty there is crime in the neighborhood, more cops and I don’t anyone could say all cops have good intent. I think we all get it, I think Soledad does too if she would think about the stats she is quoting. Angele knows there are bad cops who are causing problems. She wont acknowledge that there are good cops and that there are reasons to send black people to jail but to Alan’s point, not for a dime bag of weed. I had trouble with Angele pointing out that the Bloods are looked down on by cops. Did I miss something? Are the Bloods a philanthropic organization?

Stephanie is a nut job and deserves nothing else. I do see in Angele someone who really does want to work for the good of her community. She needs some maturity and a stable relationship to calm her down. Both she and Angele apologized so quickly that I didn’t get the sense that they meant it.

My impression of the season was more about the lack of supervision in the jail, power struggles between the guards and imates and the guards terrible lack of appropriate control of the jail.
The Colonel knew what was going on in his jail and didn’t need a show to point the mess out to him. His admonishment of his guards were laughable at best. They allowed the drugs to continue and for sixty days they had cameras in the cells as they watched the drugs and sex and did nothing. Please. That Colonel and his whole crew need to be gone.

There’s so much lack of responsibility these days. The guards in this jail are just another example. Who knows how many inmates would make darn sure that they wouldn’t return if the guards actually kept drugs out and paid more attention. (That’s assuming that there is enough of them to take the time.)

‘Same thing seems to have happened to the school shooting, recently. Everyone was lax in there responsibilities and the children and their families paid for it.

Whelp I never thought an episode of 60 Days in would have me crying but it did with Jaclin’s segment. Great season and that was a great finale episode. Also a “Where are they now” set for Monday yay.

I must be the only one who thinks it would have been horrible NOT to tell the truth about being undercover if you have a physical relationship?

Anyone else notice that what I said was that saying that there is no such thing as black on black crime was a ridiculous statement that Soledad herself disproved with her very next breath?

Nearly every single post here refers to black on black crime, proving my point that claiming it does exist is ridiculous. It exists just like white on white crime and hispanic on hispanic crime and all the other types of crime in this county. The fact that black people are killing each other at alarming rates in inner cities like Chicago and Atlanta is something that needs to be address with workable solutions. The victims of those murders need the same amount of justice as all the other murder victims. And to say that it is not happening is, I would imagine, quite offensive to the loved ones of the murder victims.

The problem with your statement isn’t the fact whether Blacks kill other Black people or White people or White people kill other White people or Black people. The problem is Cops unjustifiably killing unarmed civilians whether they are Black or White. It just happens that statistically more Blacks find themselves on the wrong end of a Cops gun. It is about the flagrant abuse of power by government representative’s. However the biggest problem of all is that the use of the phrase “Black on Black crime” is used to misdirect the conversation away from the abuse of power by government representative’s on civilians

I’m a day late and a dollar short to this party so forgive me. This is my first time coming to this site and I absolutely love it now! Stephanie is ridiculous, the way she acts, the comments she makes. At first, she was trying to act like she was some genius master manipulator of everyone in jail and that every conversation she had was calculated. I think poor old Steph is giving herself WAY too much credit. Every single time I see her little smirk, I just want to wipe it off of her. She has started ALOT of vicious rumors about Jackie and it’s uncalled for.

One would have hoped that their tactics, behavior and personality were mired in sensational editing but after the group get together it proved that that was actually them. For Real For Real. SMH
