It’s time to unravel The Mystery Of The Missing Manbun. I guess I will also have to start calling Manbun August since his manbun has been scalped. Do you think the guy was wearing a fake manbun in the first few episodes? These are the things I think about. Quinn convinces Zack to confess to the manbun thing even though Billy was the real culprit. Then she edits the footage to show “proof” that it was Zack. I’m not sure the point of the setup, actually. The reporter says it was all a ruse to distract her.
Oh and there is also that thing about Rachel confessing to a double murder last week to the guy who is supposed to be a shrink, but I think is actually a cop. So that might be a tad more problematic than the loss of a manbun.
Madison is pissed that Rachel basically proved to her that she is a sidepiece and now she is on a mission to get at date with Gary in public. Something they have apparently never done. Because, sidepiece.
Also, Chet has invited an actual reporter on to the set. What could possibly go wrong there? For starters, Madison tells the reporter that Quinn is drinking like a fish and is on the brink of getting fired. Madison also gets the report time with Serena. The reporter tells Serena that the producers are coaching Alexi to pretend like he is into her. Serena confronts Rachel who comes clean and lets her know that August slept with Quinn. Serena confronts Quinn and says sure she slept with Manbun, but she slept with the jockey so it’s a wash. Quinn throws the reporter off the set. The reporter is going to write a hatchet piece about Quinn.
Billy gets cut at elimination and has to escorted off by security. The fake confessor stayed. Gary cancels the public date. Alexi is a coke head. Once he gets some coke, Quinn loves him and tells Jay to make sure she continues to get that Alexi. Jay strikes a deal with Alexi to keep him supplied with coke if he agrees to be in his dance show that Quinn has agreed to help him pitch.
Jeremy, Rachel’s crappy and murderous ex, takes the new camera girl on a date to some sort of makeout point. In up in the same general area as Jeremy and the camera girl, Serena and the rich guy who is there on a bet to sleep with her first are together. She’s getting wasted.
Rachel goes to confront the mystery man. Apparently, he was one of her bitch of a mother’s patients. It seems as though there was some sexual contact when she was twelve. She told him she was 17. It seems like her mother was complicit. They both have different memories of that night. He tells her that her father came home that night and beat the crap out of him. Rachel said her father knew nothing about it. Rachel freaks out when she realized her father knew what happened. She ran to Quinn.
Next week: Quinn and Jay’s new show pitch to Gary does not go as planned; Rachel confronts her father about her past and rescues him from her mother’s control; Serena learns a contestant’s secret; Jay’s arrangement with Alexi becomes even riskier than before.
