Garrett & Johanna
Johanna, the idiot, goes to tell her poor dad that she is engaged to her Prison BAE. He doesn’t get it. Her dad, who appears to have some common sense. He tells her to give him some space and give it some time before she rushes to the altar. The bottom line is he doesn’t want to see her get hurt. And he totally sees that she is bringing this all on herself.
Johanna wants to invite 150 people to her wedding. Is WeTV going to hold a casting call for that? The next thing you know Johanna is “on the way to confront Garrett at work” about why he proposed. This sounds like a great way for him to get fired and her ring to get repossessed. Apparently, the restaurant approved of the filming. Garrett is starting to realize this bitch is never satisfied with anything. Garrett says he proposed because he wanted to be married to her. He doesn’t see the point of the big wedding. He says they can just elope. This makes sense because I can’t imagine 15 people wanting to come to her wedding, let alone 150.
Lamar & Andrea
Andrea goes to get a wedding dress despite the fact they have been having some major arguments. And they are living 700 miles apart because his parole requires that he stay in LA County. Lamar calls her at the dress shop to tell her he is not allowed to come to Utah. Andrea thinks Lamar may have lied about being allowed to come to Utah in the first place. And yet, she is still buying dresses or her wedding for herself and her two daughters.
Andrea tells her kids they have to get ready to go to California to meet their “step-dad.” Her youngest kid calls Lamar “poppa.” The older kids have more sense than their mother and are not thrilled to go. They point out they do not know Lamar and he is not their father. This is terrible what she is doing to her kids. Absolutely awful.
The kids hate California on sight. Andrea tells her five-year old to come meet her papa. Her twelve year old daughter refuses to get of the car, and Andrea is bribing her with cash. Nyla isn’t interested in being paid off. Tennison, the adorable 15-year-old son is on high alert to protect his family from this unknown male who has done 16 years in prison. Her mother eventually leaves her in the car. Tennison gets stuck talking Nyla out of the car. Once inside, Tennison asks Lamar what he went to prison for. He says he did some robberies. Nyla asks if he is a gang member. Andrea acts like these questions are inappropriate. Seriously? These kids need new homes. I just want to punch this woman in the face.
Lizzie & Scott
Scott’s friend stops by to check on him since he is not answering his phone after finding out Lizzie has new charges and is looking a 12 years. She’s not particularly comforting and points out that was what she was doing with all the thousands of dollars he was sending her. Scott wants to pay $14,000 to a lawyer to defend her on the new charges. The friend tries to convince him that he doesn’t owe her any loyalty. Scott says he promised Liz he would be with her no matter what, and this is “no matter what.” Jesus.
Dominic & Mary
Mary is going wedding dress shopping. I don’t think Dominic has even actually proposed. It’s one of those things where they have just talked about getting married. I really want to cut Mary’s hair. I hate when long hair doesn’t have blunt ends. Dominic is still in the halfway house and his every move must be cleared by he parole officer. He stops by with flowers and apologizes for fighting with her. Dominic is struggling to acclimate to life after prison. He just needs some time to adjust before she starts in with all the wedding drama. He does still want to get married. He just doesn’t want to deal with a huge wedding while trying to acclimate to normal society. He says they can do a small wedding if she wants. She says she is good with that, but I don’t believe her. Actually, I am not sure I believe him either.
Alla & James
James and Alla are fighting so he is going to hang out with his buddy and drink some beer. His friend tells him that he should be concerned about her using again rather than being having pregnancy issues. James gets pissed at the implication. James doesn’t listen to anyone’s advice.
James comes home to Alla ODing on the floor. He is not sure what to think. Really? She’s ODing, dude. She’s a heroin addict. This should not be surprising news for you.
What happened to Angela and Tony? They were not even shown this week.
Next week: Garrett gets in trouble for going to a strip club. James meets up with Alla after rehab, one couple gets married. It’s the season finale. Halfway through this season, the ratings were so good they are already looking for new morons for a second season. Some of these fools may even get a spinoff. That’s how crazy this show is.
