It’s Halloween and Maci and Taylor have agreed to take all of the kids trick-or-treat like they always do going first to her parents neighborhood with Ryan’s parents (and this year with Ryan and Mack and her kid) and then to Ryan’s parents neighborhood. Ryan’s parents texted her that they are down with that and Maci even says it should be “fun.” As I recall, Ryan normally would be off somewhere getting drunk or high on Halloween and miss the whole thing or be very late. Perhaps this year will be different.
Mack tells production her plans for Halloween which includes taking her kid to his father’s to Trick or Treat at six. Sounds like Ryan will miss trick or treating with Bentley once again. She claims that Maci needs to start answering Ryan’s texts. I don’t believe her. Ryan’s mom calls and says that Maci is bringing Bentley and her kids to the neighborhood at 6. Ryan and Mack are there at 5 and have to leave before Bentley will get there. For some reason it doesn’t occur to Ryan to stay with his kid and have his parents take him home rather than leaving with Mack to get her kid to visitation by 6.
As Ryan and his parents go trick or treating with Mack and her kid in Maci’s parents’ neighborhood, Jen is pissed at Ryan about the entire situation. As Maci and that crew are pulling up in a gold cart, Mack is ripping off her microphone pack and taking Ryan with her to leave. Ryan hugs his kid and tells him goodbye and leaves with Mack. What a douche. Later, Ryan and Mack act like Mack’s kid was traumatized about not getting to trick or treat with Bentley. Ryan says that Maci keeps playing the victim. Their anger is placed everywhere except on Ryan and his drug use.
The latest guy to move in with Amber is already taking over all the housewife duties, and is cooking and cleaning while Amber talks about how tired she is from laying on the couch all day. He also suggests that pregnant Amber join him on a thirty-day cleanse and suggests she have the baby at home in the bathtub proving you can take the boy out of California…
Amber, Andrew, Gary and his wife and Leah go on a horror hayride. I am not sure why Gary allowed Leah to go, but she was the one telling Amber not to be afraid. Later, Gary and his wife discuss the their concerns about Amber’s pregnancy and her new relationship. Gary also hopes the kid is not really Matt’s. Hmmm.
Amber were to an OB/GYN and she learned she is 13 weeks pregnant. She got some nausea meds and diet restrictions. Andrew wants her to have a natural childbirth. Amber does not have any interest in that. Amber wants to know the baby’s gender on the next visit. Andrew wants to be surprised. Andrew keeps talking about gender neutral stuff for the baby. These two do not agree on anything. Andrew doesn’t shut up about the gender neutral crap.
Apparently, Farrah still has the mini-horse and has added a bunch of chickens to her back yard. Her neighbors must be thrilled with this. She just found out that Jenelle’s ex, Courtland, has been invited to her mother’s Teen Mom Wedding Episode. Apparently, Courtland is in between prison stints. She’s also invited fans and Amber Portland. Farrah calls her mom and asks why she is inviting Courtland. She says only God can condemn people and Courtland has changed. She says everybody sins and she will have two armed security people on site. As one does at their wedding. Farrah tells her to shut up so she can unconfuse her brain. Her mom says she likes Jenelle. Farrah says she didn’t even invite Jenelle, but she invited Courtland. How does that make sense? It doesn’t.
Farrah and Michael have a long conversation about how messed up Debra is in the car with Sophia in the back seat listening.
Nova is once again used as a human billboard to announce her pregnancy to her mother. Tyler tells Butch and they discuss him going to rehab. The conversation alludes to Tyler’s sister being on drugs as well. Wow. Tyler has a lot on his plate. At first Butch says he is not ready.
Later, Tyler and Catelynn tell Butch she is pregnant. Butch has talked to the rehab place and found out that there is a pool and massages and all sorts of fancy stuff there. He will be doing 90 days in the rehab and then 90 days in a halfway house. Tyler says he will get it all set up for him. Tyler finds out it is $48K for the 90 days. Catelynn is fine with Tyler spending the money. Tyler is concerned he will pay the money and he will still not stay clean. I get him wishing he could know ahead of time if it would stick this time.
Tyler goes to pick up Butch the night before taking him to rehab from his old house where Butch has been living with Tyler’s sister and her kids. She definitely looks like a drug addict. It is so sad Tyler has so much responsibility. I sort of wish he could just move away to an island somewhere with his kids and Catelynn and relax and worry about his own family. His sister hints that she needs money and he has to go in the house to find Butch. The power has been shut off at the house. They are using candles and will probably burn the damn house down.
The next morning, Butch has a major meltdown about getting on the plane and going to rehab. He feels like he is abandoning his grandkids. He says the mother is not taking care of them. While it is probably true he has been doing the caregiving, he is also looking for reasons not to go to rehab.
