I got a late start to this two hour episode because a whole lot of posts rolled in after my daily outing into the world and before 8 pm. So this is going to be short and sweet, at least for a two hour episode.
We began with Keisha nominating Chuck and James. Then we have the first veto competition. It’s the spelling challenge and they seem to have a really nice budget for this season because the yard looked great! Somehow Shannon managed to spell responsibilities. I believe the girls were pooling their letters so that Shannon got stuck with pissing off people by not using the power of veto. Keisha is really playing this game hard.
Later Keisha and Omarosa set us a side alliance/ final two that will be called Black Girl Magic. The Six Girls & A Gay Alliance meets to discuss whether or not to use the veto. Keisha wants Shannon to take down Chuck and put up Mark. The only thing that will do is put a bigger target on Shannon. But when she mentions that OH-marosa jumps all over her saying every time she talks strategy she says me rather than we. That is not true. Using the POV is totally a ME thing for Shannon. There is absolutely no benefit to the group to take down Chuck and put up another player unless they are going to send the other player home. But Shannon apologies profusely anyway and cries. It was an Oscar worthy performance from out actress. Can she be nominated for an Emmy for Big Brother?
Keisha also went off on a girl power rage even shouting “May the best girl win!” despite the fact that their alliance member with a penis, Ross was sitting right there. Ross pointed out that pissed him off privately to Brandi first and then Marissa who are his two closest allies and his preferred final three. Basically everyone wants to drag Brandi to the end because they are assuming they will be voting for the winner and they all low key hate Brandi and her drunken insults. However, I think the viewers may end up picking the winner this year and that would be priceless. Brandi could actually win if the viewers choose.
OMG! I have been gone most of the day, so I missed the punishment that James and Ari got for coming in last in the veto comp. They both have costumes to dress up like babies and have to carry a big baby bottle around at all times. Whenever Big Brother plays the sound of a baby crying they have to stick the baby bottle in their mouths. They also have to crawl everywhere. The punishment lasts for 48 hours! James is not thrilled. He didn’t open his gift bag because he didn’t want a punishment. I am sure if he had told the DR he wanted to open his bag, they would have saved him with the colored chip. They do NOT want him leaving first. James and Ari are bonding over this experience
Team Black Girl Magic wants to team up with Chuck and vote out James. Ross tells Shannon for her game she should totally not use the POV. She feels pressured into doing it anyway. Ross stresses that it’s a bad idea. When she goes to tell the Black Girl Magic alliance, they are pissed and pushy. Keisha says in the DR that the entire alliance agreed to put Mark up. That is not true. It’s the BGM alliance that is pushing this agenda. The house stayed up late into the night discussing what to do. They did not show that. The last thing I heard the 5 of the seven not in BGM alliance found out that BGM was working with Chuck and Metta. Taking Chuck down seems to be a good faith effort on behalf of BGM in order to convince him to work with them. I’m not sure if the other girls and Ross figured that part out yet. However they are pissed off and made them want to not only leave Chuck on the block, but vote him out. Oh!-marosa speaks to Shannon who tells her that someone from the group told her it was not a good idea to use the veto. Oh! asks if it was Brandi. She said no. Oh! Tells her that no one in the house knows the game better than the two of them. There is not need to listen to anyone else. Except of course OH! Marosa.
In the DR Oh! Marosa tells us that she knows war strategy (ROFLMAO) and that putting up Mark is a war strategy called “shock and awe.” That only works when there is a war with two opposing sides Oh! Marosa. You and Keisha are already diddling with the enemy and so is Shannon. You are not playing a war tactic, you are playing a schoolyard bullying tactic trying to force Shannon to bend to your will. Let’s see how this works out for you. Oh! Marosa says she has learned in the past year, not to retreat, but to reload. This fool is earning her money on the show. The crazy Omarosa is back.
Omarosa makes a crucial error and tells Shannon that Keisha is talking with Chuck. Shannon says that sounds like she’s got a deal with Chuck and I thought we were supposed to make decisions together. Omarosa says she thought they did make the decision together for her to take Chuck off. Shannon goes into a tearless breathy cry that is not Emmy worthy at all. Omarosa comforts her but tells us in DR she is unstable. Shannon says she just wants to go home to Cape Town. Never tell anyone you want to go home, Shannon!
It’s time for the veto meeting. Shannon does not use the POV. YAY! Chuck is going to go home and BGM is going to be even more pissed.
Derrick, Ian, Nicole and Josh join Julie to discuss the very first season of Celebrity Big Brother. Derrik says he is shocked how quickly the have forgotten about the cameras (they haven’t) and that Omarosa doesn’t seem to have signed an NDA with the White House. Josh says he is impressed with all the gameplay. Nicole says Shannon is unnecessarily making herself a target. She didn’t need to win the veto and the sixteen letter word was overkill. With regard to the alliance of seven, Derek says that with an alliance that big you don’t want to be one of the leaders. You should fall back and let the generals cannibalize themselves and stay safe. Ian agrees with Derek. Ian said the guys were dumb to not to all play the gift bag. Josh is so cute! He sympathizes with Metta’s homesickness as he went through the same thing. Time goes very slowly inside the house and he doesn’t seem to have a support system in there. Josh says that when he was crying to go home they just kept him along for the ride too, if Metta is able to get that same treatment he will be able to make some moves at the end.
Ian says if James survives tonight, he has a great shot at winning the game. Ian says he is not rooting for James though, he wants Ross to win. Derrick says Marissa is in a good place for the win. No one seems to be talking about her at all. He is rooting for Marissa. Nicole agrees with Derrick. She is also team Marissa. Josh says he thinks Ross will win. The audience clapped both times Ross’s name was mentioned and not for the others. Derrick, Nicole and Josh all really like Shannon and are pulling for her but think she may have already overplayed her hand.
I am praying that this blindside goes down. I love a good blindside and BGM needs to be put in check. Brandi votes first and cries when she votes to evict Chuck. It seemed sincere to me. Ari voted to evict Chuck. Omarosa votes to evict James. Ross votes to evict Chuck. Metta votes to evict Chuck. Marrissa votes to evict Chuck! Marissa votes to evict Chuck. Shannon votes to evict Chuck. Mark votes to evict Chuck. THIS IS AWESOME. The vote is 7 to one and I don’t think Omarosa or Keisha have a clue!!!
Fuck! I just realized that by not being finished on time I missed the big drama on the live feeds I’ll have to flashback!
Chuck says he doesn’t know what he did wrong, but something flipped last night. I wish Julie would tell him he didn’t do anything wrong and explain what happened. He says that Big Brother just wasn’t his game and he really wants to do Amazing Race. Julie, who can certainly make that happen for him asks who his partner would be. He says his wife. She says she thinks he has a good shot at it. I predict we see him on there very soon.
Julie explains that he is on the jury and he gets to decide who wi…. she catches herself and says “you get to vote.” See? I don’t think those votes are going to count! She also tells him that he gets to go home and watch the season unlike the jury on the real Big Brother. She asks what he is going to be looking for when he decides who to vote for to win. He says he is going to watch the previous episodes and see who was straight with him and what happened. Chuck says that Shannon has a good shot at winning. James has a shot. He says there are a lot of people playing well.
Omarosa’s goodbye message seems to indicate that she suspected there might be a flip. Keisha’s goodbye message seemed like it was filmed today as well and she knew. Marissa cried in hers. Ross too taped his today. He told him there was a last minute decision to make a different decision and unfortunately he had to go. I hate to see Chuck go, he seems really sad about leaving. He says the only deal he had with Keisha was if she broke a tie, he would not put her up.
I just turned on the feeds and Omarosa has Shannon cornered and is saying that Shannon is seen as a back stabbing bitch by everyone. She is really intimidating her. The Omarosa tries to call Shannon a racist and then Omarosa throws Shannon out of her room. BGM is coming HARD for all the other girls and putting themselves on an island.
