The bad news is that we have to talk about Farrah. The good news is that she and her family are in Italy. She is hanging out with Michael and Amy and Debra is off by herself. Later, Farrah and Sophia go to lunch with Debra. Oh the have to make their own gnocchi. If I am going to Italy, I am not cooking anything while I am there. All of my energy will be focused on eating. Farrah tries to get a bowl and an egg for Sophia to play with while she waits on dinner. The lady pretends not to speak English. Farrah lets us know that bowl and egg are the same in every language.
Wait! Farrah has a sister? Did I know this? When Debra talks about her wedding she says she has a man of honor. Farrah wants to know why “her other daughter” is not the maid of honor since she didn’t want to do it. Then they have a fight about Simon. Farrah calls Debra and evil bitch and cusses her out.
For reasons that are unclear, Butch has taken pair of yard clippers to the cast of Tyler’s nephew. Apparently, it is time to take it off and his mom can’t be bothered to take him. Meanwhile, Catelynn is out to lunch with her mom. She’s also out to lunch in general talking about getting pregnant to avoid having to help with renovations. I read the other day that she is back in rehab for the third time. She got out just before Christmas and already needs to go back. She needs to keep that birth control in.
Catelynn goes to have her birth control removed and doctor tells her to lose at least 15 pounds before getting pregnant. Apparently, it hurts to have an IUD removed.
Maci in Knoxville on a girls trip to a Tennessee game. The mood is pretty mellow because the team lost the game. The girls ask about Ryan and Maci says he is still refusing to take a drug test. Everyone is wondering what he is hiding. Once again, the suspicions creep up that he is still using.
Ryan and Mack are going to Las Vegas for a Bachelor and Bachelorette party. Ryan’s parents are coming with them. Who decided this was a good idea? In Vegas, Mack says that the day of their wedding will be Ryan’s six month, sobriety marker. Ryan tells Mack to ease up on her drinking when they all go out to the club. The next day is a spa day for the girls. It is there that Mack declares that she and Ryan are going to have another kid next year. Why would anyone think this was a good idea? Ryan’s mom says he needs a do over. One of Mack’s friends asked about the ceremony they already had. Mack doesn’t want to talk about it. Clearly, Mack’s friend was cast by production. We get to see the flashback of the heroin ceremony. She claims she didn’t know what was going on until after that ceremony. Bullshit. She also tells the group that she invited Maci and Taylor to the wedding. However, the invitation Maci received was only for her and Bentley and it was also in her maiden name.
Ryan, his dad and two random people cast as friends are having some man talk. His dad asks if they are planning on having more kids. Ryan says no. But they probably will get another dog. When asked about Maci coming to the wedding, he says that Mack invited Maci and Bentley. His father tries to correct him, saying that Taylor is invited. Ryan ignores him. Ryan also looks high as a kite.
It appears that the new guy moved right in with Amber. And now she is taking him on vacation in Hawaii. Oh, Amber. She’s hoping for some romance on the trip. Unfortunately, on the way there, Amber gets really sick. It seems like food poisoning. Or not. She is still really sick the next day. They still manage to make their private snorkeling trip on the boat. I wonder if MTV is paying for all of that. I kind of feel like Farrah may have paid for the trip to Italy.
Gary and his wife read some stories online about Amber’s new man. He’s apparently struggle with alcohol and depression. He has also had restraining orders against him. Gary said she should have waited before jumping into a relationship and spent some time with her daughter. Who knew Gary was going to be the voice of reason on this show. Leah has apparently asked why Amber is too depressed to see her, but not too depressed to be with Andrew. Gary points out that even when they were together, she would sleep all day and he was Leah’s primary caregiver.
Amber is still not feeling well. She starts to wonder if she is pregnant. They take a pregnancy test and sure enough, she is.
